The veiw and room size. And the location
Bed a bit small and uncomfortable . The glassware we used the first night was taken away the next day and not replaced. One teabag between 2 people also not replaced the next day.
This was a condo, what a better way to spend your time then a regular hotel
Staff were very helpful in arranging an early check in which was much appreciated after a very long flight from Australia and a very tired toddler. I made our first day in Vancouver so much more relaxing.
Central, downtown area. Next to lots of shops and restaurants. Helpful front desk. Booked a queen but were upgraded to a king suite which was a pleasant surprise. Suite was huge! Lots of living space. Modern and clean. Balcony was nice but we didn't use it. Very comfortable bed. Nice toiletries, robes and slippers provided. Free wifi. Walking distance to nearby restaurants and bars. Loads to do in Vancouver. A local supermarket is directly across from the hotel entrance.
No restaurant or bar in the hotel itself. Room did not use swipe cards or fobs. The keys were quite large and the key rings were clumsy. You could remove the key but the key ring was needed to operate the elevator. One of the three elevators was out of order. We stood some time (occasionally) waiting for an elevator. There are 35 floors to service! Neighbouring offices can look directly in to the suite. Careful opening the curtains and blinds if you are not fully clothed! There is no Uber service in Vancouver. (Plenty of taxis around though). The AC/ ventilation made the sliding wardrobe doors vibrate!
Comfy bed. Room to eat in the apartment.
