Pros: Staff were welcoming and very friendly, the room had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. Breakfast in the morning was superb, and Mary's French toast was the best! Pros: The bedding and mattress were INCREDIBLY comfortable, had a great night's sleep and almost didn't want to get out of bed. The breakfast was also good, though the poached egg for the specialty benedict was (in my opinion) overcooked, it was still quite tasty. I also really enjoyed the chef's apple pastry.

Pros: This was one of the nicest inn’s my husband and I have ever stayed at! It was far enough off the main drag that we didn’t have listen to the noise of cars and tours and everything else! The room was super clean and very comfortable! We had a shared deck with only other room on our floor which was really relaxing to sit and have a cocktail. The free breakfast was delicious! The staff members we’re very accommodating and really nice! They even left a bottle of champagne for us when we checked in to celebrate our Anniversary. The grounds were beautiful as well! With a pool, bean bag toss, 2 fire pits, happy hour they also had a grounds tour because everything in St. Augustine has history! We will definitely be visiting The Collector Inn again!!

Pros: Good position. Nice to be right on the waters edge gentleman who served Breakfast was very friendly & restored our faith after a stern check in & noisy neighbours !!!
Cons: The Receptionist on our arrival was very stern & generally not very welcoming. Traffic noise was heavy for most of the night. Unfortunately other residents in a nearby room chose to sit outside drinking & talking very loudly until I asked them to be quiet at 2.00am. We understand this was just unfortunate & not the normal behaviour of most guests

Cons: I was told I would have a balcony with a view and I had to ask if the room had a view and then change to the room that had a view and it had no balcony. Also there was hair in the shower.

Cons: No issues

Pros: Mattresses very comfortable.
Cons: Showers never got hot only warm water. A hotel of this size and chain name should never run out of hot water!!! Fireplace outside didnt have propane which was a major selling factor of choosing hotel since weather was cold and perfect for enjoying a fire. The river "view" that I paid extra to upgrade and get balcony for, was actually a stinky sludge swamp y area... Totally disappointed for what we paid. Also very disappointed that for this price the breakfast "buffet" was NOT included.

Cons: first room I was giving was not even clean the beds were even made so I had to go out downstairs and get another room not worth the money even though the rooms are slightly bigger another hotels

Pros: Close to everything in old St Augustine and only a short drive to the beaches[St Augustine beach is prettier than Vilano beach]. Very friendly staff. Lovely views of the river available.
Cons: Had to pay for breakfast, but I understand there are ways to get it comped.
Thank you for choosing our TRYP Sebastian St. Augustine hotel. TRYP Hotels offer tasteful, intimate hotels with comfortable guestrooms and thoughtful amenities. Perfectly situated in convenient business, airport and suburban locations, each hotel provides a worry-free stay, including relaxing public areas and casual dining options. Flexible meeting spaces can accommodate a wide range of functions, from business events to social gatherings.
The unique Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront hotel combines a reverence for the history of St. Augustine with the modern day luxuries and amenities guests expect in a Hilton. The hotel's intimate size and feel are reminiscent of a boutique hotel, and yet it offers the extensive services and facilities that are usually found only in much larger hotels. The charming, vibrant Spanish Colonial Period structure consists of a "hollow square" design, in this case, 19 different buildings set around an inner courtyard and connected by an interior corridor. The buildings were inspired by the Second Spanish Colonial historic period, with wooden balconies, cedar-shake & tile roofs, with different elevations and colors that allow it to blend in with its surroundings. Virtually all Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront hotel rooms offer stunning views of Matanzas Bay or the city of St. Augustine's historic district. Situated in the Historic District of "America's Oldest City", the Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront hotel is within walking distance to many of the area's finest restaurants and most popular attractions. Horse drawn carriages and the Historic Trolley transport visitors from the hotel through the streets of the old city. Historical points of interest include the Spanish Colonial Castillo de San Marco National Monument, dating from 1672, the original Government House and the magnificent Victorian structures of the period built by Henry Flagler including Flagler College formerly his grand hotel. The hotel’s facilities include an outdoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, business center, concierge service and a guest laundry and valet service. The Menendez and Ponce rooms, 800 square feet each or 1600 square feet when combined, can accommodate meetings of up to 125 people or of banquets up to 100. The 250 square foot Board Room can accommodate 12 and offers views of the bay. The Aviles restaurant and Lounge within the Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront hotel features creative global cuisine with touches from the region surrounding Aviles, the sister city of St. Augustine in Spain. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and diner and includes an outdoor dining area. Be our guest at Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront hotel and "Experience History from our Point of View". Cons: This is so trivial, but there was a plug-in air freshener in our room, next to the bed. It was so strong we placed it outside on the patio. LOL

Pros: Good locatrion. Staff were excellent.

Pros: I loved everything at the hotel, from the tour upon arrival, the cleanliness, especially breakfast in the morning. Extremely delicious meals, and I loved happy hour.
Cons: Some of the things that was told would be in the room, were not, but the staff accommodated. Like the microwave. We had to go to the front desk, to get things microwaved, that was inconvenient. During the tour upon arrival at the hotel, we were told the pool gets heated up to 90 degrees, but that was not the case. We could not use the pool, because it was so cold. The staff got frustrated when we questioned that, and advised that this was the second thing that was promised, but not true. Later the staff apologized, and advised the pump was broken, and maintenance call was put in place.

It’s very walkable. It’s really fun to step outside and walk onto the pier and see boats. Free parking is nice and there are good restaurants on both sides of the bridge.
Cons: The place looks nice from a distance and in photos but it’s easy to see the cracks and the sort of sheen of the renovation is less exciting up close. Photos on the site are great but little things like light coming in under the door, noise, and little hasty signs of renovation of an old motel are very evident. Mostly the building itself is sort of gross. I left feeling a little dirty and a little like it wasn’t worth the price. Pool area is small and easily crowded. Guests are cramped together in the common spaces and the place has a motel feel despite seeming to offer a different experience if you read up about it online. Don’t be fooled, this is a pit stop type place, not a fun vacation stay— even for a weekend. There are better options in town that offer better vibes, are still convenient, and are better priced. In the end, you’re paying for the location mostly— not really a relaxing stay but could be ok for a road trip stop or other practical trip.

Pros: outstanding ! in all aspects possible!
Cons: The hotel was too good to focus on anything negative but now you are asking they cld check on the amounth of the fabuloso cleaning product used in the room, as the scent though its lavender, and it reflects good cleanign was extremely extremely strong, i had to open the door during the night for 2 hours before trying to sleeping and even then it was too strong. Aw and the curry smell in the reception at all times was too strong too. Probably a more balanced scent wld be better and cozier. Other than that, the hotel exceeded my expectations. Thanks

Pros: We stayed at this hotel (Doubletree) before and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel was very clean, staff was pleasant and the location ideal. It was same for us again on this second visit to St. Augustine. Staff-excellent; Room-clean. It was great.

Pros: The bed was comfortable. They had directv. The had breakfast options but not many healthy ones.
Cons: The toilet was leaking and running all night we woke up to toilet water all over the bathroom floor. They had the service room doors open everywhere. I know they do laundry and clean but I don't need to be standing by the door waiting for the elevator hearing the staff talking trash while they are folding sheets or seeing shelves of supplies as I accidentally turn the wrong way off the elevator. The pool was disgusting. There was cigarette butts everywhere and so many bugs in the pool I couldn't enjoy being in the water.
7.1 Good
Pros: The room was big and modern. Loved the smoothies at breakfast.
Cons: The hotel is small and breakfast is basically in the lobby. The pool is in the parking lot.. It was nice but I felt it was pricey compare to what you get.

Pros: The location is convenient to downtown Saint Augustine, the restaurant serves a pretty good eggs Benedict.
Cons: The cleaning crew was a little unprofessional. The maid was working next door to our room, and as we were leaving around 9:30am we politely asked if we were next, she said “yes yours is next”. 4 hours later around 1:30pm we noticed her just a few doors down from us and our room hadn’t been cleaned. When we asked if she could service it now and how long it would take, she responded “well what do y’all even need?” My mother in law got a little frustrated and just asked for fresh towels and toilet paper and ended up taking the trash out her self. I normally would highly recommend Holiday Inn hotels, but the service at this one was just a little to off putting for me.

Cons: I understand why they don't make you aware that the railroad track are right behind he building. But it was ok since I could not hear it much over the very loud AC unit or the guy 2 doors down yelling "HEY... HEY …. HEY.. HEY over and over for 30 mins at 11 pm. Staff seemed annoyed you were there at check in. Wife killed a roach in the bathroom... lucky she was wearing flip flop due to the sticky floor. They also don't tell you about the $8 room fee you have to pay at check in.... surprise!! Best part was the rodent trying to get the bag of gummy bears on the chair while we were sleeping. Aw the memories.

Pros: Aside from being directly next to a railroad track, you are walking distance to downtown. The staff was very friendly and the food from the hotel was good.
Cons: 1) it's next to a railroad that does sound their horn middle of the night 2) they never clean the floors in the rooms. I hope to god they change the sheets 3) the new floor stopped the door from closing properly 4) the beds were hard.

Pros: The property is great and excellent location .
Cons: Our room was on the 2nd floor facing the lake it was great BUT the TRI RAIL train pases by and you can’t sleep well. Please keep this in mind not sure how the other rooms are in the other side of the hotel. The soap was very bad so make sure to take your own or buy it. Breakfast was good normal like any other place the only thing g was the orange juice really bad. But over all it was a wonderful place . Take the trolley it’s super hard to find parking it took us over 1 hour to find a parking. At least in thanksgiving and Christmas time. God Bless

Pros: The location, parking in front of the room, and the large pool.
Cons: Denny's restaurant rents space from Day's Inn and it is between the hotel rooms and the pool/office area. To go to the pool, you have to walk past Denny's back door area which is dirty. Also, an unused conference room needs new blinds and cleaned.

Pros: The property was clean and in a great location.
Cons: As soon as we enter the room and check the bathroom the toilet was clot and with a smell, upon calling the reception we were told to come and get the plunger and do it, I don’t mind doing it but we didn’t even had a chance to use the facilities in the first place and we treated with absolutely no hospitality “Toilet not working come here now and get the tools, no body here to help”. Until 3:45 am we could heard very loud and vivid quest on the second floor arguing and talking and with music, we had to call once more for the front desk to do something about the noise. Horrible night!.

Cons: We stayed at this hotel a few weeks before this visit and it was amazing. The room was updated. This trip we were given a room that was not updated (sink had cracks). While it was clean, it was not as nice as the previous room. Also, the parking lot lights on the north side were shining in our window. Even with the blinds shut, 3:00 a.m. looked like noon.
