9.6 Excellent
Pros: The garden was amazing, interior design, attentionto detail and quality to be seen everywhere, very good location, best accessible by car (only), BBQ wasn’t that easy to use, so I wouldn’t overrely on it and just choose the kitchen. Particularly loved the privacy and just a few people (since max 10 rooms), which can be critical for some families traveling with small kids. On overall - this is a very nice place to restore and recharge.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Shame about misunderstanding re number of beds.Staff and owner did their best to sort out but bed collapsing during night one not fun
Cons: As abvewouls
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Couldn’t speak highly enough of villa D’olne, breakfast is amazing, perfect place for a quiet relaxation. Everything is very welcoming and guests are invited to use anything around the villa at any time.

10.0 Excellent
Cons: the rooms are small
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property was very thoughtfully decorated and immensely furnished with plenty of rooms to enjoy and socialize! Our rooms were IMMENSE! The bathroom was first class and had an incredible view. Breakfast was amazing and plenty of food! We love old mansions and this had charm as well as modernity added to it throughout. Staff had a cancellation the following night and offered us to stay the extra night for only 100 Euros. Fantastic pool and sauna! I would do this again -- definitely!
Cons: The room was a little dusty in some places, but the bathroom was spotless. Terrace guard rail was too low. Needs to be higher. The road leading to the property was under construction. Had to take a detour. Advise is to catch a cab to the property even though the place is nearby. Road is steep and hard to drag your luggage. Despite the above, it is minor because the property is a gem.
New-Castle - Spa - Building

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very kind and welcoming, explaining how everything worked in the house and giving some recommendations on Spa. The room was lovely decorated and super comfortable. It felt like staying in a real castle, so perfect for a long weekend in Spa like in the old times I guess!
Cons: Everything was perfect.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We were impressed by high standards, thoughtful interior design, and homely atmosphere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A classic old castle. Beautifully detailed and restored. Original ceilings and crown molding. Clean and quiet. beautiful setting. Updated security. Exceeded our expectations! We will be back!
Cons: Nothing. We loved our stay. The owner was charming and very proud of her property. She gave us a short tour. Wish we could have stayed longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay in the superior suite. Very comfortable and luxurious apartment with fully equipped kitchenette and our own private (large) balcony. The beautifully renovated castle with authentic details made our trip to the Ardennes unforgettable. We would totally recommend this place and can’t wait to be back soon!
Cons: Everything was great!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our host was very caring , we loved the room, breakfast , our suit was beautifull and the bed very comfy.
Cons: a TV channel in English might be usefull
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very nice woman, and very helpful as well. And yes, it was not a room as we expected but like a full apartment! with kitchen, and even a special room for taking tee (with a good choice of tasty tee, by the way). The view from the slipping room is on hills and a garden, and you can see sunrise in the morning. The breakfast was simple, but fresh, and for free) the parking is also free. The location is good, just in 15 minutes on foot from the city centre, not so far from funicular getting you to Thermes, and at the one of hiking routes. Overall, it was a great experience to stay at the place. Highly recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a very nice, romantic place to stay.
7.3 Good
Pros: Very nice and stylish room, very lovely and helpful hosts
Cons: the bed mattress is too soft
7.0 Good
Pros: The place was very Bohemien and full of quirky character. The room was very pleasant and the bathroom amazing with a huge walk in shower and equally huge lumps of forest, tree trunks supporting "jack & jill" basins, watchful taxidermy wandering among branches and antlers! Lined and towels good quality and pleasing simple decor. A useful kitchenette, TV snug adjoining. We had continental breakfast which was delivered outside room each am. We would certainly choose this as a place to stay again in Spa.
Cons: No real complaints, the only suggestion would be (and i think this work is in progress, with the bathroom being so new), robe/towel hooks or method to dry towels, shelf space for toiletries. Maybe an extra outside light by staircase/car parking area useful but light as is was adequate for us. The bit we didnt like was leaving to come home!
6.0 Good
Pros: very nice authentic 19th century castle-like rooms
Cons: Hotel not finished. Garden is still a dump. no breakfast available.

Pros: Very beautiful place: forest, Mountains, lake with fountain. Very nice friendly, caring hostess Anja. No bathrobes and slippers. Free WiFi throughout the house (works fine). At the first opportunity, be sure to return to this hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Anja is the perfect hostess. She makes you feel so at home. It was fantastic to have facilities to make our own braai (barbeque) and not go out to restaurants every night. They are positioned so close to everything. She even made English breakfast for my husband who is on a Banting eating plan although she offers continental breakfast. Thank you Anja we enjoyed our stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location, privacy, nice bed and own kitchenette.
Cons: Maybe additional toiletries, per guest.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, good breakfast, friendly, good location.
Cons: We where first day alone, but second day we had second couple and the took breakfast early and that is right next to door of the room, so it's not very pleasant. Some sign (with a light on it) on the street would be more then welcome, it's very hard even second time, there is only very small number 28

Manoir De Lebioles - Spa
5
9.0 Excellent (447 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Renovated in 2018, the Manoir de Lébioles offers both holiday makers and business travelers a pleasant stay in Spa. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. According to our trusted guests, the facilities at this hotel are first-rate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, explain the dishes at dinner. The food was amazing! The fall scenery was wonderful. Spa is small but worth booking a really great massage.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The entire atmosphere and conduct of all the staff was that they wanted to take care of you and operate like a 5 star facility. Everything was elegant, and everyone attentive. The breakfast was nice with the usual European foods: eggs, cheese, breads, juices, etc. and the coffee and tea were brought by wait staff. The forest around the manor was beautiful and a nice walk in the woods one morning was a highlight. The manor was very well maintained, and our bed was very comfortable. We selected the largest suite because it was our 30th anniversary. That was amazing, with two rooms, a huge bathroom with shower and separate tub, and views all around.
Cons: There was nothing that happened or that we encountered that detracted from the experience.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location with excellent facilities.
Cons: The staff of the hotel were very friendly. The senior staff were acting a bit snobby and always seemed in a rush, whether the younger staff was very pleasant. The senior staff from the restaurant could learn a thing or two about hospitality from the younger restaurant staff or the hotel reception. A smile is free you know, also, please don't let your guests know so obvious that you're in a rush. I've been to quite a few Michelin star restaurants and never did I have the senior staff make me feel uncomfortable. The food and wine were all very excellent by the way.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hotel hidden in the Ardennes. The food was excellent and the staff is helpful and accommodating. Excellent spa facilities.
Cons: Everything was perfect. One tiny recommendation would be to heat up the spa pool a bit.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very elegent manor hotel near the Spa racing circuit. Helpful and friendly staff and a very good breakfast. The design of the hotel was top notch and I especially like the beautiful photographs in the common areas. Beautiful surroundings.
Cons: The fresh fruit in the room were not very fresh! The beds were not comfortable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A little isolated but only 10 min drive to Spa. Very nice staff and the renovations and modernizations were well done. Squeaky floors to be expected. Dinner was too overpriced so we went into town. Breakfast 19 Euros was a little expensive, but coffee and food were excellent. Spa not included with room so intend to spend another 30/person plus any other spa treatments. Good place to get away.
Cons: Monday and Tuesday have very limited dinner selection and priced too high
9.2 Excellent
Pros: For anyone looking to get away from the urban hustle and bustle, this is an amazing get-away place.

Pros: We loved the breakfast, as well as the location which is near the Spa Francorchamps race track. The cabane is also quite modern with a great bathroom and the bed is super comfy. There is also some nice restaurant at 5min from here.
Cons: We had what seems to be a mouse during our second night, which didn't feels great at 3AM. Some spiders and spiderwebs as well, but it is a cabane in the wood so..
Hotel La Crémaillère - Spa - Building
9
8.8 Excellent (332 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Hotel La crémaillère is located at Jalhay a small Ardennes village on the foot of the fagnes. It is not far away from the 'Baraque Michel' and 'Signal de Botrange' (this is the highest top of Belgium (700m)). Jalhay is not far away from Spa, also called 'the pearl of the Ardennes'. This pearl is famous because of his health baths. With 15 km of francorchamps and its racing set and to 12 km of the town of Spa. We propose to you a hotel of charm with 8 suits and comfort.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The quality of the food was fantastic, but be prepared for a "French" only language menu in the hotel. The salads were exquisite with fresh berries, tomato's, greens, duck, etc., etc. The hotel is located in the middle of "hiking central". You can take one of the walks from the center of town or travel 5-10 clicks to one of the parks in the region. In town, there's a grocery so you can supplement your drink and snack desires. Almost across the street is a pizza restaurant that has mixed reviews but we found the food quality very good and the prices were cheaper than the hotel restaurant. It was nice to have a separated sitting area too. Lastly, the person at the morning breakfast (included) was super nice and had all the tables set with starters. Cheese and meat were delivered to the table as part of breakfast and we asked if a soft boiled egg was included and she made that happen too.
Cons: The room was fairly warm (it's August) and there's no air conditioning. A fan would have helped. By morning it was cool and you needed a sheet to cover you. The beds were not as comfortable as we expected. My spouse's bed was too hard and my bed leaned to the left everywhere so it felt like I was rolling out of bed. The second floor rooms are accessed by a tiny set of stairs that were circular so it was difficult to carry luggage upstairs. If possible, only take the minimum amount you need if you have a second floor room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Collette and family were excellent hosts, made us feel very welcome.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bed Felt like staying in a little house Breakfast was delicious Very close to other places of interest such as Spa

Pros: Very nice staff, relaxed atmosphere The whole town is pleasant The breakfast was the same every day, and very sweet, but the lady was very happy to prepare tasty eggs, etc. Comfortable parking Dog and cat are running around the hotel :-)

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel very well located in the heart of the city of Spa, and very close to public transportation (bus and train). The hotel was the perfect place for the Ludovia#BE conference we were attending at the cultural center. Moreover, many restaurants were available around the hotel.
Cons: Nothing special to say, our stay went very well and the hotel perfectly met our expectations.
7.1 Good
Cons: Private lift to the thermal baths were out of service, which in fact was the only reason for me to choose this hotel and not another one. Too bad for me, bad luck.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location Location Location ! The location is wonderful, hotel has private funicular to reach the Thermes de Spa which makes our stay even more pleasant. Room size is good and the design/decoration are great. Breakfast is wonderful, plenty of choices and good quality. Hotel has a small sauna which is good enough for a quick relax if you wish to. Parking is around 50m ahead the front entrance, it's easy to park and safe.
Cons: nothing that we did not like, if there's next time, we will definitely stay here again.q
7.5 Good
Cons: Bathroom was not clean Service in the brasserie was not working well
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Upgrade to a suite with balcony overlooking the town. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff is excellent, particularly on checking in and out.
Cons: Parking nearby is difficult and garage parking is pricey.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast! The hotel is very close to the center Thermes de Spa.
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast - once the misunderstanding it's clear. Calm and a relaxing atmosphere. 105 Euro it's value for the money.
Cons: Breakfast - we didn't know that we should ask for more, so first day we were hungry. Room too big (in height). A wooden shelf covered the bed at the level of the person's head.
6.7 Good
Pros: Room was fine, comfortable and clean.
Cons: Appalled we had to share breakfast area with huge slavering dogs. Bad enough smelling wet dog on the staircases, but not acceptable where food is being served, particularly when food seems to have been set out a good hour or so before guests arrive !! We were sat next to a couple who thought it acceptable to feed their huge dog from table top - whilst dog slavered over table cloth and guy checked its teeth over. Shame - decent accommodation in a good area. Wont be back because of this. Dogs were also allowed in rooms. Yuk! Some guests suffer alergies!?! There should be a clear pet policy in force. Virtually, impossible to police rules like keeping animals off beds and furnishing. Also, the after hours access to rooms should be reviewed. Small pathway to rear of hotel to give access to a fire escape type door. Whilst, reasonably lit it was narrow, overgrown, uneven and slippery when wet, not to mention foul stenge of urine. Very disappointed :( :(
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was a very cosy little hotel, with it's private parking. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: There is no Elevator. It wasn't a problem for us, but might be for older guest
7.5 Good
Pros: The restaurant is very very good indeed. The breakfast was acceptable. The location could not be better.
Cons: The room was quirky to say the least. It had character!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel in very central location. Spacious room. very clean. breakfast is served at the table and excellent. Dinner in the hotel is also ov very high quality. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Private parking right in the centre of Spa which is fantastic. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The Staff were helpful and were happy to speak English when my French let me down. Great selection of beers and heated outdoor seated area. The stay was very comfortable and I'd certainly stay here again. The parking was key as we were coming to track day at Bilster Berg and the knowing the car was safe was a real bonus.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent, private parking. On site restaurant had excellent quality food and service. Quiet location despite being so close to town centre. Complimentary fresh fruit and drink in room was a nice touch.
Cons: We both thought that the towels in the bathroom did not match the quality of all else that was provided in our room. They were really clean and changed each day but were a bit threadbare. This was a minor dislike only and would not stop me recommending this hotel to family and friends.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: The furniture was old (especially the bed).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Motel arrangement within a little courtyard. Very nice layout. A short walk from centre.
Cons: Room was sprayed with strong lavender to mask a horrible stink from drains. When the lavender wore off it was horrible. Kept bathroom door shut and windows open which helped. Felt that was a bit disingenuine.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, facilities, staff and breakfast selection

4.6 Okay
Pros: Location and the spa
Cons: Uncomfortable beds (plastic under sheet?), slow check-in, moisty smell, room temperature, breakfast frenzy, dated facility, no parking, a lot...
7.9 Good
Pros: Very attentive and professional staff, small but nice facilities, good breakfast, good location to explore the area by car.
Cons: Cleaning and maintenance could be better. Also some soundproofing is required as one can hear everything happening outside the room. And surprisingly some staff in the wellness center didn’t speak English
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, facilities.
Cons: Welcoming staff did not give us full information, we had to ask about breakfast, facilities etc. The food at the bar was not good, pizza royal looked and tasted like frozen pizza, it did not have chorizo, even if it was written in the menu ...
7.9 Good
Pros: The cleanliness and friendliness. The concept of getting a voucher if you do not wish to have your room cleaned / towels changed each and every day.
Cons: There were more guests than available places in the restaurant. One had to reserve a dinner table in advance and service was too slow. The cable of the hand-held shower in my room was broken, thus there was hardly any water pressure.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful place: forest, Mountains, lake with fountain. Very nice friendly, caring hostess Anja. I had a room on the 1st floor with wonderful view from a large window, clean, comfortable, with heating, with a small TV (there are very few programs), tea and coffee (capsule coffee mashin) at any time of the Day or night, a small terrace with a table and chairs, the bathroom has all the necessary accessories, including hair dryer. No bathrobes and slippers. Free WiFi throughout the house (works fine). At the first opportunity, be sure to return to this hotel.
Cons: Everything was great!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming flexible host, elegant room , excellent breakfast . Good outdoor facilities (weather permitting) . Very good restaurants within walking distance.
