Pros: Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff
Cons: My wife and I were asleep and someone knocked on the door at 1am. Then again 20 minutes later. Then again 20 minutes later. Finally I called down to the front desk. At the same time I got a call from security that someone reported music coming from our room. We were dead asleep and had a wedding to attend the next morning. I don’t understand why someone had to knock for over an hour when there wasn’t any sound coming from in our room. Next time call once. Or knock once. Other than that stay was great. Security was just a little inappropriate the way they handled someone else’s complaint.

Pros: My husband and I booked this hotel for the weekend because we were going to a Jazz game. The arena was right across the street so if was walking distance so we didn't have to worry about finding a place to park and walking along distance. When we checked in, the front desk staff was so nice and they upgraded our room because they were booked for the rooms we had originally made the reservation for. The room was like a full apartment with a kitchen and everything which was so awesome. The room was so clean and beautiful and housekeeping was so nice and very thorough. We were happy to pay for parking because its a lot better than having to find somewhere to park and walk a far distance to the arena. It was worth it. I will recommend this hotel to everyone and anyone and we will be staying here each time we come to salt lake because we travel there a lot.

Pros: The location was great for our stay. The room was GREAT size. The accessibility to the city was good. The place was very clean and the staff was very informative.
Cons: A hotel that is family friendly?? For a hotel of this size and the availability of rooms and for being family friendly. The pool was VERY VERY SMALL. I could not even go in there and enjoy myself. The jacuzzi was way to close to the pool.

Cons: You have to pay for Wifi and Parking and didn't like that. You don't even have to pay for Wifi and parking at Motel 6. Also, i had stayed at Hilton and Marriott in Boston and didn't have to pay for Wifi and parking.

Pros: Friendly staff. Workout room met my needs.

Cons: The garden section was awful. Lock did not work to let us into the building, room had hair in the sinks and looked unclean. Front desk staff was a mixed bag--some polite, but also a very inconvenienced employee checked us in. Main hotel excellent.

Pros: The location is great and easy to access Trax and nearby shopping. Everything was very clean and seemed newly updated, as far as the rooms.
Cons: We didn’t have any toiletries in the bathroom including hand soap. We decided to stay at this property strictly for the balcony that comes with the room. We went to enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony and THE DOORS ARE BOLTED SHUT. There is no access to the balcony in your room, even though there is a sliding glass door.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very close to downtown, temple square, conference center and still way cheaper than the big brands that need more walking. Very easy access to public transport, they have parking on site (not free).
Cons: Somewhat dated interior, but still clean and intact. There is a wide gap below the room's door that enables your neighbors to hear if you're having fun in bed, so take care if you care. I didn't like the freshness of breakfast in JB's restaurant next door. Anyhow, I'd book again.
9.0 Excellent

Cons: The tile in the shower had mold.

Cons: Pillows were terrible
7.7 Good
Pros: Easy and quick check in, clean rooms and central location.
Cons: I've been staying at the plaza off and on for years, the pool/hot tub is always out of order or being maintained.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Proximity to downtown attractions.
Cons: Everything is old and stale and it feels like management willfully wants to keep it this way. Not worth the rental rate.
9.0 Excellent
Pros:
Cons: A little over priced Stationaried sliding doors and very noisy at night No noise insulation
6.0 Good
Pros: location to Family History Library
Cons: Lack of restruants except for JB's which is greatly over-priced and has poor quality food and marginally good service. The Creek Mall is a far walk and inconvenient to ride to. Cost to stay there is more than what is expected for the quality of the room accommodations. Would be nice to have a coffee shop where you could pick up a bagel and cup of coffee or other breakfast items.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great - close to Salt Palace, Temple Square, City Creek, Trax station. Staff was helpful when asked, and the room was kept clean. Free wifi
Cons: Free breakfast would have been nice, since I was going to a conference all morning.

Cons: The room was outdated, the curtains had stains on them, the sink was rusted and hard to turn on. Many other issues with the room. I was extremely disappointed as this was a so called four star hotel and paid a lot of money for but was Like a 1 star hotel.

Pros: I loved that the hotel was so close to downtown Salt Lake City. The fitness room was great with good cardio machines and free weights. The bed was comfy and the bathroom modern. I requested a quiet room and was given excactly that. I was very happy.
Cons: Something I would have liked to use was the hot tub. Sadly, it was closed during my stay.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location in downtown, close to convention center, shops, and restaurants. Very quiet room on the 10th floor with city & mountain and a very comfortable bed! There is a small coffeeshop in the lobby for bites and beverages.

Pros: A most convenient location

Pros: Located downtown- was amazing close to all the attractions we were interested in
Cons: We found underwear in the drawers, I'm assuming from prior guest. That wasn't fun haha. Garage elevator was under construction, so we had a small walk in the rain to get into the hotel...then stairs.

Pros: This place is cozy and clean. It is not shiny and new so don’t stay if you don’t like some character in your accommodations. The beds were like sleeping on bricks.Tempurpedic or similar but very uncomfortable. Your body makes huge dents that stay so if you change position it is awful. The heating vents were very loud and we had to turn it off to be able to sleep. Housekeeping failed to do our room on our second day so that was a big bummer. Staff was nice. Location was very good. Pros: Great rooms and nice breakfast! Very friendly staff and location central to everything!
Cons: The hotel is old and runs on a 2 pipe system for A/C and heater. So that means in the winter months the A/C is shut off; and summer months the heater is shut off. It's not an issue though as they supply you with a fan or space heater if you are hot/cold.
8.0 Excellent
Pros:
Cons: The temperature in the room was too warm. We had a corner room with lots of windows....great view, but too warm. The temp went up to 83°. The staff was kind enough to hand us a fan to help with the heat.
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean. Great history.
Cons: Knock on the door at 10am telling us check out is at 12noon. We already knew that. Got a parking ticket for parking in the hotel parking lot.

Pros: Small rooms. No heat. The staff provided space heaters but they kept throwing the circuit breaker. Luckily we brought a electric blanket
Cons:
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, nice atmosphere and lobby.
Cons: Everything this visit is great. I understand they are converting to Hilton Honors. The only problem we had was that there were no materials available in our rooms to help us figure out nearby dining options, etc. and the front desk person on staff was either new, or just didn’t know much about the neighborhood.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location and the look of the hotel
Cons: I left my wallet in the room somewhere and they were kind enough to Fedex it to me to NYC. I’m forever grateful for their excellent customer service.

Cons: Small room and tiny bathroom. Smelled super musty. Staff was not super friendly. Bed was not comfortable.

Pros: Good location. Lots of charm. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Very small room. Could have used a little more dusting beyond the obvious. The bathrooms were clean though.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was very friendly. They upgraded our room to a King suite after they found out that we had just gotten married. We thought that was very nice of them to do.
Cons: The shower had hair in it and on the walls. I had to clean it myself, before we could shower. Housekeeping left early the following day and we weren't able to have our room cleaned. It was unfortunate that we weren't given a heads up that was happening. We were there for 2 nights and never had our room cleaned. We had a King suite and froze. Our room temp never got above 63 degrees. The first night was miserable cold. The second night I spoke with the front desk and he gave me a space heater, so that helped out second night.
7.5 Good
Pros: This place is cozy and clean. It is not shiny and new so don’t stay if you don’t like some character in your accommodations. Pros: The staff were really friendly and accommodating. There was always a parking spot. Free breakfast was provided with the booking.

Pros: Good location
Cons: Its so outdated! The lobby has been redone but everything else is really old and smells moldy maybe? That wasnt that big of a deal. The absolute deal breaker was paper thin walls, there was a red truck outside in the parking area that played very loud Hispanic music for about 2 hours at around 3am. I had to call the front desk and ask them to do something about it and they didnt say sorry or anything just said "k, ill go look". We also heard neighbors gettin busy, again not a big deal really if it was just that one thing but it was the worst sleep we have ever had and all the little things added up after the music situation and the front desk guy making me feel like I bothered him for asking him to take care of the blaring music. We were on the 3rd floor so i cant even believe there wasnt more complaints.

Pros: Staffs were very polite and friendly. They were very helpful and charming. The location was close to downtown and many restaurants. The room and bed were very comfortable.
Cons: If breakfast had a variation on different days, it would have been better. Also, they had paper cups that I couldn't put in the microwave. I preferred they had glass cups.

Pros: Only a short drive from the airport and downtown Salt Lake
Cons: The additional charge for parking was really annoying. As was the need to display a parking permit. We arrived late at night in the middle of heavy snow and had to go back outside to display this on the car. Parking should be included in the rate given that breakfast already isn't. Also the light switch and fan in our room were faulty so we couldn't switch the lights on when we entered the room and had to use the lamp by the bed reaching it with an iPhone torch. The fan needed maintenance work as it was making a really loud noise and had to be switched off.

Pros: Its quiet and down to earth
Cons:
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The room was large enough for 2 qn beds, although I didn't need to use the second one.
Cons: Very old and smelly! But, as you are in room, you stop noticing the odor. A few ants each morning to kill. Breakfast is a couple of bread choices. The yogurt or juice isn't always available. Nothing actually nutritious! I stopped going there for a bite.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The location suited my needs. It was inexpensive.
Cons: Very dirty and peeling wall paint. Broken faucet. Broken light. Dirty and cracked caulk. Graffiti and profanity on inoperable laundry room door.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Leaving it
Cons: The location is in a shady part of downtown, internet didn't work, comforters were torn, paint peeling, chair torn, only 2 flat pillows per bed, mattresses were hard you could feel the springs, half the lights were out in room, shower knob broken.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The location.
Cons: It took forever to get checked in the bathroom was dirty there was leftover tape from it being painting the mirrors were so streaked you could barely see yourself. Customer service sucked. And they want a $100 deposit.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. It was a safe place.
Cons: Everything was aged. For example the bed sagged like a hammock. There was some mold on the ceiling. Staff was a bit lazy. Airport shuttle hours aren’t great. But it was exactly what I expected. So I wasn’t disappointed.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Low price
Cons: Wanted $20 to check in early. Put a $100 hold on my card for a $-- room. Hot water was only warm.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location, price
Cons: TV remote did not function & phone was not hooked-up UNTIL I went back to the front desk & they sent an employee to the room to fix the equipment . . .
8.0 Excellent
Pros: They’re okay
Cons: Room has air conditioner is a little no clean
5.0 Okay
Pros: The hotel is close to downtown salt lake City.
Cons: The rooms were dirty, the mattresses were well past their prime, and the bathroom was essentially duct taped together. There was a lot of noise at all hours of the night.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing! Horrible service, very dirty, no hot water.
Cons: Everything! Location was a little sketchy, the room was disgusting, dirty underwear were in the closet, no hot water, sink wouldn’t drain, comforters dirty, lamp shades broken, remote to the tv wouldn’t work and missing back.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: After we got switched to a new room its was awesome. Clean comfortable and homey.
Cons: The first room we got put into was horrible! The shower faucet head wasnt attatched to the wall, the handicap bar in the shower was missing leaving two holes, the toilet didnt flush, the TV didnt work due to antenna plug being broken, a chair had broken legs and there were around 10 burn holes in the comforter. When we called the front desk we were told someone would come check on it for us immediately and then after we waited for 30 minutes we went to the office and the girl working was rude and wouldn't communicate with us. The security guard had to take over and ask if we wanted a new room.
