Pros: Navigation took us to the back of the hotel, but once I finally entered the facility, the staff were friendly and helpful! Valet was quick and efficient. Front desk took care of check in with ease and accuracy, answering questions and explaining the property thoroughly. Complimentary snacks and drinks hour was perfect timing for our concert! The room was cozy and very clean, I loved the bathroom, but definitely a bit dark. Our view was, well, there wasn't one; we were looking at cement walls, so no natural light entered the room, coupled with the dark walls, linens, and furniture it felt more like a dungeon than cozy luxury. Overall I would definitely stay here again. The on-duty manager twice engaged directly with me during our one night stay and did not seem rushed or robotic, which I found quite pleasant!

Pros: The hotel was in a great location, walking distance from a lot of places. We walked to the Heinz field and the inline from the hotel. The staff were super friendly and offered a glass of wine upon check in, we were also offered a free beer another time we visited the welcome desk. The restaurant was lively and we enjoyed some cocktails there before heading out for dinner. The room was spacious and clean.

Cons: The shower design was flawed and the water leaked onto the bathroom floor. Also, the faucet and mirror were installed too close together and hit when turning on the faucet.

Cons: I second the other comment about the nickel and diming. Valet and Wifi should be included in the cost of your stay.
Also, I was very unimpressed by the food at the hotel bar, Andy's. I wouldn't have minded the fact it was so overpriced as can be expected at a hotel, but the Angus sliders had no taste. We should have made a quick walk over to Primanti Brothers which is only about 5 minutes away on the square.

Cons: The price is excessive, nearly $400 for one night. While you certainly get what you pay for, I would recommend staying elsewhere unless you can justify this kind of expenditure as it really is a one a year kind of splurge for us. Pros: We loved staying at a location so close to PPG Paints Arena since we were there to see the Penguins play. Overall it was a great experience. My one complaint is that we paid a lot of money to stay there and they did not automatically include a free breakfast. However when we did check in they gave us a coupon for a free breakfast so that helped make up for it. If we had to stay more than one night we would have ended up having to pay for breakfast through the rest of the stay. The only other thing we noted was that compared to other big city Marriott’s that we had stayed in, the room was pretty outdated. Other than those super small things, the hotel was great and we will be staying there again!

Cons: With being on a bus route, it was a bit difficult to maneuver in the city around the hotel. Even using Google map didn't help because so many streets we couldn't turn on. Could have used emailed directions on how to approach the hotel from the east/west.

Pros: Nice enough hotel, big rooms, but feels a little dated and not he usual high end Marriott experience you come to expect. The food in the restaurant was good, although there was significant confusion about the 'breakfast included' rate. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The valet service for the car was also excellent and quick.
Cons: We booked a room which included breakfast, only to be told on arrival they don't do breakfast. Slightly confusing as they have a restaurant that serves breakfast and can be put on your room, but they just don't include it in the rate. So to resolve this they credited $50 to our room to cover the cost. That all worked out fine, but when you arrive at 10pm from the airport, it's not exactly a relaxing start. The pool looked a bit tired and not very inviting with a range of yellow cones and warning signs all round it. Having been looking forward to having a dip, we actually decided to give this a miss. There isn't really anywhere in the lobby to get a coffee and relax. Instead you're directed to Starbucks and then have to bring it back to sit in the lobby. Not a great arrangement when Starbucks closes at 2pm on a Sat/Sun. On several occasions during my stay i was approached by non-hotel guests asking for spare change/money in the hotel lobby. This doesn't exactly create a very relaxing environment when you have to keep politely turning people away. The lobby in general was a bit of a thoroughfare with people coming and going from the pub on the ground floor and the small shopping mall attached to the hotel.

Cons: A little odd that anyone can enter the hotel lobby and seating area from either the bar or mall (without being a guest). Swimming pool wasn't great. Hotel has gone through some renovation to make it look a little more modern. However, the rooms looked a little tired in places.

Cons: Hotel breakfast was average at best. The pancake machine repeatedly stopped working. The breakfast attendant didn't seem like she knew how to fix it. So we gave up, eggs were rubbery and sausage was cold. I will say, the hotel was sold out so it was busy.

Cons: The 7am alarm.... no indication that the road was closed and yoy had to take an alternative route in......I asked for rooms together or close and they had us on separate floors..... got that changed to 4 doors away from each other....... hotel circle door was filthy...... told me to park my own car when they have valet parking and I had someone on oxygen with me....I asked for early check in didn't get it

Cons: Absolute horrible experience, our weekend the hotel had a teenager convention staying. It was like trying to sleep in a Frat house. False fire alarm evacuated the hotel at 7am another morning. Construction in front of the hotel made it crazy to even get to. City police were called & in the hotel all night corralling the "Frat Kids" to tell them to STFU. Avoid this place !!!!

Cons: Fire alarm went off on our floor my husband rushed down the stairs from the 14th floor with my 2 year old daughter and there were broken glass bottles all over the stairways. Additionally, the building was never evacuated and when he questioned a janitor on staff he seemed unsure on if there was a real emergency or not. No announcement was ever made and clearly no one cared because only about 6 people has evacuated after the alarm. Additionally, none of my requests through the app check-in were fulfilled and I had request everything over again upon arrival.

Pros: The location was great! I enjoyed the close proximity to the PPG Paints Arena where I was going for a hockey game and the views of the room were incredible! The staff was friendly, and the food in the morning was great. Definitely would come back to this hotel if I went back to Pittsburgh!

Cons: I didnt expect the parking charge when I arrived. I had budgetted for the hotel, gas and everything else but did not expect for that. Make sure that when you go you also don't arrive near rush hour or it will take a while to get to the hotel.

Cons: The evening shuttle guy we had was sorry. Never won’t him again. The girl at the desk at night was probably the most unfriendly person ever. Did not care for her. Hotel people need to treat guest better than she did. Went to our conference yesterday morning and got back to the room around 9:00 pm. Our room had not been cleaned, no new towels, bed unmade. I was very disappointed in this!!!!!! I had to go downstairs to ask for a couple of clean towels. Not happy with that at all.

Cons: Very old rundown hotel. Rooms were horrible condition and filthy. Curtains on windows were partially missing; carpets were stained so badly we didn't walk in our bare feet; A/C vents were corroded with fuzz and dirt; shower wall was cracked. Horrible.
