Pros: The food along with the service was exceptional. Pre-ordered the night before, not something I prefer to do but seems the norm. The whole dining experience was flawless, attention to detail second to none, and as mentioned the food was fantastic.
Cons: Only comment, and it is slight, is the noise from the hospital(?) across the road. It sounded like their aircon/extraction system. Didn't disturb us through the night but was slightly noticeable. Please don't let this be a negative, the Fitzroy is the place to stay for sure. I've never stayed at a more welcoming and professionally run B&B at all. Great experience and definitely booking if ever we're back in the area.

Pros: The property was easy to find and had ample parking. The whole guesthouse was spotless, our room was lovely and cosy with a double bed and single bed with everything you could need. The en-suite shower room/toilet was also spotlessly clean. The owner, Shauna, was just delightful. She couldn’t do enough for us and on leaving I had a problem with my car. Pros: We stayed at the apartment for a surprise 50th Birthday celebration. The communication with Victoria was exceptional leading up to our stay. She kindly went out of her way to suggest things to do, places to go and to purchase Balloons and a surprise cake. She also arranged with a florist when to be at the apartment to accept a delivery of flowers. We would have been stressed without her and truly appreciate everything she did for us. The Apartment was amazing from the decoration to the comfort, to the facilities and the breakfast basket, tea, coffee, milk, and butter. All those wee extras that really made our weekend. xx

Cons: They need to improve the sound proofing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was exceptional and the food was excellent. Good location beautiful countryside.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value, a lovely cottage. The cottages are the ideal combination of the seclusion, privacy and space you get in a cottage, with the comfort of housekeeping and breakfast over at the hotel. The cottages have self catering facilities so we only ate dinner at the hotel one night but that too was excellent, as was breakfast. Staff were lovely and the cottage itself was excellently kept and very comfortable.
Cons: The only very minor inconvenience was the distance to the hotel for breakfast
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room and great restaurant. Friendly cosy bar and welcoming staff. Nice touches in room, port in decanter, lots of space to put away clothes etc. Breakfast very good also.

Pros: The property was in a excellent countryside location... lovely interiors both in bedrooms and public areas. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent.
Cons: A very minor point was that perhaps at night the dinning room lighting could be softer or turned down. That’s only a personal view.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Just renovated and very clean. We stayed in the Cottages and they we very roomy and quiet. This is a bedroom community and does not have stores. Nearest one is about 15 min drive. Restaurant was very good and fairly reasonable but a bit slow get ing the food out. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was cooked to order and most enjoyable.
Cons: Property is still under renovation but it did not rely bother us.

Pros: Hotel was in a great location. The bedroom was large and had good facilities. Room 312. Lovely and warm and comfy beds.
Cons: The towels could have been better quality. Also one hand towel for two ladies washing their hair. Two hand towels in the room is a must. Golf Function was being held on the Saturday night. We did not realise this until we tried to have dinner in the bar which had closed for this at 6:00 p.m. Yes their was a note on the bar door which we did not read as we were out all day but it had replaced the previous note informing you of the bar's opening hours in the same place on the door so why would we read it again? I would recommend this information be passed on to you when you check in or the information be placed on the rooms.

Cons: Only thing was the pool was out of commission- we had looked forward to using it but these things can't be helped

4.0 Okay
Cons: Overall, quite disappointing; this was my first experience of Mercure hotels and maybe the last. I had a very dull bedroom, bathroom seemed to be held together with silicone mastic, uninspiring decor with nail holes in the wall, cold soulless atmosphere throughout, limited availability of beer, no cash at the bar for change, limited bar menu - pizza or burgers. From the outside this property looks very appealing and with the old mill flowing through the property it should be overflowing with charm - sadly it wasn't!

Pros: Absolutely nothing. Perth itself was nice, with a nice shopplng centre.
Cons: Everything. the ceiling was full of spiders and cobwebs. the walls seemed so thin that we could hear people in the other rooms and walking up and down the corridor. We could hear people on their mobiles as plain as if they were in our room. In the end we checked out about 9ish and drove back to Manchester through the night.
5.0 Okay
Pros: location was good, very clean, friendly staff
Cons: the stairs!there was no lift and we found the climb to the room a real bother
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole experience.
7.0 Good
Pros: Stayed on a night out and fitted our requirements Late night bar was good.
Cons: Room was a bit dated and could do with updating. Fine for a short stay.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The staff at New County Hotel are excellent, the receptionists were friendly and extremely helpful as was the chap who served us at breakfast. Compliments to the chef also, as our cooked breakfast was lovely. The hotel is very tired and run down but the staff are it's saving grace.
Cons: The hotel is very tired and run down and could do with a total refurb, failing that some new carpets and a lick of paint would help, also a bit more attention to the cleanliness wouldn't go amiss.
6.0 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed Large room
Cons: Shower was luke warm Reception area not staffed on check out Automatic light in hallway didnt come on when leaving room
5.0 Okay
Pros: The city
Cons: On arrival at hotel we were told that no breakfast was available unless we paid extra, (even the continental breakfast) This was our 2nd visit to this hotel, which was lovely the 1st time. but sadly not this time. The room was in need of a makeover. (room 102) Service was very poor. Asked for extra pillow, never received it One night returning to our room to find door not locked after cleaner. Windows filthy. I could go on, will not return.
