Somewhat disappointed with the condition of the vehicle. While the interior seemed clean, the carpets, upholstery and seat backs were worn. They were able to provide the requested child car seat but it was old and dirty and would not have passed safety standards in Canada. As we had no other alternative we used it and thankfully made it through the week without incident. Pick up was simple and efficient as expected. Drop off was even better. The inspection was quick and airport shuttle was available and waiting.Reviewed 21 Jan 2023

I still don't know if I was charged 2 times for the car there was an issue with the dates and the provider with original request to rent the car. The site changed the dates to dates that didn't work with my trip. Then we changed it but I never received a credit from the original order.Reviewed 10 Aug 2022

The car was a beat up POS. I would not recommend this car rental business. The rear view mirror would not stay in place. There was no USB to charge any device. It barely blew cold AC. Two thumbs down for sure!!Reviewed 4 Jul 2022

They closed at 5pm. I called twice before my flight departure letting them know the flight was delayed a couple hours. They could see the flight status and chose not to wait until 5:15pm for us to arrive and pick up the rental. All other car rental companies were fully committed so there was no alternative availability. I never took receipt of the rental car our entire stay. We arrived at the airport in Turks and Caicos and went outside to obtain our car. We were told “Oh, sorry, we overbooked. We have no car for YOU. Come back and check tomorrow maybe there will be returns but I can’t promise you a car.” I asked “Shouldn’t our Friday reservation be honored ahead of reservations for the next day?” And I was told “No.” Paid $40 for a short cab ride to our lodging. Paid again to get back to the Payless “hut,” where a surly staff member just shrugged at me and said I could call back later. Walked over to Avis across the street and was assisted there by knowledgeable, prepared staff. They had no available cars, but the staff suggested a local vendor who picked us up in ten minutes and gad a great car fir our needs at a reasonable price. I will never use or suggest Payless. There were so many ways that they were disrespectful, disorganized, and unprofessional.Reviewed 19 Mar 2022

I made my rental reservation months in advance to our arrival in Turks & Caicos. My 21 yo daughter and I traveled there for 10 days. I wanted the most economical car rental I could find. I came across Payless online and they had a car that was perfectly affordable. They even called me a week prior to pick up saying I accidentally made two reservations and asked if I needed two. When we arrived at the airport the shuttle was there and drove us over to the lot. I wish I had taken the name of the woman working there but I didn't. Very courteous and professional.
