I am normally a very patient person as it pertains to the service industry as I have been in the service industry for a number of years. But this particular location was sub par across many spectrums. They only had 2 desk staff to handle the rentals on a Sunday. There was construction (painting) going on at the same time as people leaving and coming which caused confusion with no signage or instructions. Just yellow tape everywhere. Average wait time for each party to get a rental car was about 25 minutes, where other rental car companies can get this done in 5-10 minutes and some in less than 2 minutes via a kiosk so I don’t understand how Budget hasn’t looked at a better onboarding of customers. The major point of all this is that their Point of sale system and procedures only allows inserting the chip of a credit card. I explained to the desk salesman that the insert functionality doesn’t work you will need to tap or swipe. He said well then you are out of luck. No solution, no other option. We have a credit card but no reservation. I booked through Kayak so if we paid via kayak then what would be the difference of being able to insert chip or not. This was the cherry on top. I get procedures must be followed but when your point of sale system does have the swipe, how in the world can budget say no to that capability. We went to enterprise 5 minute walk and were in and out with a rental car in less than 10 minutes. Budget needs to reflect on their POS systems and train their employees to be solution oriented.

It was a negative experience. The company charged more money even with a prepaid reservation. They are understaffed. No one was available during drop off to provide assistance. Would not recommend them for car rentals.

I usually rented a car at a rental agency at the airport Pam Beach International. This time, I decided to rent from an Enterprise agency located 2 miles from the airport given that it offered a price lower than the one at the airport. I was happy with the two staff at checkout (I would have given a poor rating if it were not for these 2 staff). I drove the car home 10 miles away at 12:30 p,m. and drove back to the airport at 5 p.m. to pick up my family. As soon as I got off the highway I-95 to get to the airport, I heard the thumping of a flat tire . Fortunately, I was next to a gas station and was able to park at the station. I then found out that the tire just split and found myself all shook up and distressed. A limousine driver who parked his car near by came over and mentioned that he had never seen such a case of a split tire and told me that it would have killed me if it happened while I was driving at 55 mph on I-95. I took pictures of the tire and called Enterprise Road Assistance who gave me instructions to lock the car and keep the key since I was not able to wait for the tow truck in the mental condition I was in. Next day, I called the Enterprise agency where I rented the car from. One of the managers I talked to did not seem to comprehend the seriousness of the situation where I could have been injured or worse. He told me that he would cancel my contract and gave me one day credit for future rental. One week later, I returned the key to the same manager who told me that I should have left the key in the car even though Enterprise Road Assistance told me to keep the key. The instructions are contradictory. I also found out that my contract was not yet canceled until one week later when I returned the key. The attitude of the manager is un-friendly and not welcoming. I would not go back to this Enterprise location.

The experience was horrible. To pick up the car I had to wait about 45 minutes because there was one clerk in about 30 people in line. The clerk was not happy. She was very rude and then the car as soon as we got in needed an oil change And didn’t come with formats. It was just not a good experience would never rent from that rental hub again.

Overall it was fine, but the car was dirty, picking up the person working the desk was unfriendly and extremely unhelpful basically doing the bare minimum and not well. The lady at the exit was better, but it wasn’t an easy and pleasant experience. The car was filthy both inside and out, with trash from previous use still in it, and cracks in the windshield and unwashed exterior.

Kayak offered rentals that are not available in my city. The closest location is 60 to 90 min away. So when I went to pick up the 2, 15 passenger vans my husband and I reserved for a big sports trip THEY WERE NOT AVAILABLE.

This rental was my first with Thrifty, and I could not be happier. The process and car selection was excellent in West Palm Beach, and the Toyota Highlander that I received was terrific for my extended journey and packing requirements. Thanks very much for excellent service!!!

Very good. One suggestion would be to emphasize when they leave to get the rental from the office make sure they understand that They must fill out the sheet of paper outlining nicks, dings and/or scrapes, no matter the time of night or day, BEFORE they get to the exit of the rental car place. That was just a little bit unclear to us.

Spent forever on a pickup at the airport. then spent forever getting a car at the site. landed at 9, drove away in a car at noon. got there and most customers were angry about something. no one was being helped. my guess is poor organization and management. i overheard an employee call over the radio saying it was getting crowded at the counter. the response on the radio was to stop picking people up at the airport. i couldnt believe i heard that, and it explains why the shuttle driver kept waiving as he passed me by without picking me up. to me, the right answer is to fix what was happening at the site/desk instead. they did give me an upgrade which is why i gave 2 stars instead of 1. also, i highly recommend videoing your car in detail at pickup. they tried to charge me for something that was already there.

I really want the address of the CEO of this company. I arrived at the airport with my prepaid confirmation number for my reservation at West Palm Internet at Palm Beach international Airport. I went outside search for the shuttle. The shuttle driver stopped. I was about to get into the shuttle it was after 9 o’clock at night, and the shuttle driver said we don’t have your car. We ran out of cars!! I was forced to go to an alternate car rental company which charge me close to double the amount! I believe Fox should refund me my money and match the difference that I had to pay to the new car rental company. How did a company do this? I am totally dissatisfied, angry, and looking for compensation for all of this discomfort, I faced at the Palm Beach airport. I want to write a formal letter to the CEO, letting him know what occurred, and how unhappy I am. I travel frequently, and as of now I will never use Fox again, nor will I recommend it to any of my travel companions. This experience was terrible, inconsiderate, dishonest, upsetting, and really has no excuse.
