Cons: Dinner was a mess. Waiter was great, but the restaurant opened late, new menu, which tried to be too trendy. (I really just wanted a rib eye). Menu was like topas. Portions small, overpriced.

Cons: We booked a 1 BR Suite. (Check in is at 3 and we arrived at 4, and our room would not be ready for another hour) so we took a downgrade and were able to have free parking for our stay.

Cons: Should have offered a USB port to charge iPhones. Only one of our three Apple AC plugs were held in place in a plug without wiggling. Our two remaining A/C adapters wouldn’t hold firmly in place. Had this same problem in public spaces in the hotel. We bought another A/C adapter at a store but still had problem. Also parking should have been included in room price. We stayed eight nights. Parking cost was add’l 10 % to bill.

The room had two A/C units that were very cold and had no musty or moldy odors which we truly appreciated. It had nice built ins. The bathroom, sink and shower were large; the tile was nice and the small window higher up above the sink was a welcome touch. It opened, and that’s great, too. We liked the “mid-century meets IKEA” decor as well as the small entry area. The room also has a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker along with iron and hair dryer.

Cons: The noise was horrible. There was construction at 8 am on Saturday. We were told there was nothing scheduled Saturday, yet we were awoken to construction directly above/below us for 2 hours. We heard dogs barking . The view of a chimney was unpleasant.

Cons: Our only concerns are: the sofa itself was stained. At least one stain was large. This was especially concerning because it was a sofa bed unit; and the second concern was that the carpet in the living area was very damp to wet in spots. We thought someone came in from the pool without drying off. Then, we began to smell wafts of dog urine odor from time to time. The next morning, my son walked across the damp/wet spots wearing socks, and then smelled urine strongly. Yep. Confirmed - that’s why the carpet was wet. Needless to say, everyone showered again before leaving. I mentioned this concern when we checked out. The desk attendant said the carpet must have been freshly shampooed and that’s why it was wet. No. That’s not it, but I didn’t have time to convince him. I know this type of thing can happen in any hotel as people will sneak dogs or other animals into rooms. I also understand a housekeeper wearing shoes and possibly moving fast might not have noticed. Still. Yuck.
