Great staff..very nice hall..nice bathroom..good bed..great location..would stay there again..
Rooms very small...no closet..no mini bar..
Great modern feel
The room was noisy
as far as hitting the boutique hotel theme, you nailed it. lobby is nice. rooms were nice. rooftop bar nice as well. very photogenic. free beers and apps at happy hour were an excellent touch.
i would not stay again for business travel. desk is not servicable to sit at for any period of time. lobby is more social the business so unsuitable. no gym. motion sensor lighting in the bathrooms turned off each time i showered. having the towel rack next to the sensor means if i hang a shirt on there the sensor is covered and no way to turn light on without moving shirt. street noise was quite loud and the AC system when kicked on was even louder.
The staff was friendly and clearly trying hard to make sure everyone was enjoying their stay. Although I am pregnant and could not partake, my colleagues enjoyed the complementary beer and appetizers in lobby in the evening.
This hotel is not conducive to business travel. There is no closet in the room, only a wall with a couple small shelves, two hooks and 4 hangers, none of which are pants hangers. There is no iron, though the hotel has a limited number of steamers available to borrow. There is no safe, fridge or coffee maker in the room. The “desk” is a small, bar-height table with tall chair. Not comfortable for working. The hotel did not have ear plugs to provide. Room lighting is all on motion sensors. Interesting idea for saving energy but in reality, not practical for a hotel. My bathroom lights turned on in the middle of the night multiple times, Perhaps triggered by the AC. The bathroom lights also turned off three times while I was taking a shower. Also, it is not ideal to have the bathroom lights automatically turn on when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
The sound of the trash trucks in the alley in the morning.
