Great accommodating staff
I ended up arriving early, and the staff went out of their way to clean the room so I could settle in. The morning/day person at the desk was very helpful in arranging a car service for me as well!
The room was fairly clean but the bathroom had some hairs on the floor still. Might be because they rushed to clean for me!
London hotels are notoriously and consistently disappointing, minescule, and gross. So I was very surprised that this room was recently modernized and quite nice and clean, although still small. There was renovation going on during my stay but the crew was very courteous and quiet. Location next to paddington is a huge bonus. Breakfast was well above London standards.
Smelly room especially the toilet. Noisy floors and door,over-all very very sub-standard.
my single room was very nice, much better than the too-small one i had two years ago in my previous visit, and the breakfast is excellent
too many stairs!
Location, Reception Staff
Size of the bathroom
the hotel itself was in great location however, the walk to the room had a dodgey smell.
Service & breakfast excellent
Smallest double room I have ever stayed in with an 'ensuite' no bigger than most showers. This should have been a single room
The breakfast was good and also served very quickly which helps if you have a busy day ahead
I had a room which overlooked the street - and as a consequence I had a very disturbed night. A glass recycling truck (?), night workers shouting to each other, two lots of car alarms presumably caused by thieves breaking in, a very large lorry trying to get between parked cars. Admittedly, I live in a rural cottage which is very quiet - but the noise would certainly put me off coming again unless I could be guaranteed a room away from the street. Double glazing would make quite a difference, I would suggest6
The is is a very bad condition dirty, structure in poor condition. The room are very dirty the bed cove on the floor, smell bad. The lift is not working, the front desk are not polite and refuse to help.
