Pros: Comfortable, well located, clean and good value
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our double room with balcony looked down a street to the river so we had a view of the barges and boats on the river. The situation suited us perfectly as it was close to the Boverie Museum and within walking distance (about 800 metres) of restaurants and the cathedral and St James. The breakfast was plentiful and our check in and check out was easy as the hostess was very helpful.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: No air con and the fan didn’t work. Not enough plug sockets to charge phone etc
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything about this hotel! The madame who runs it is adorable, friendly and very service minded. GREAT breakfast! The room was very clean and despite being very tiny still had plenty of space. Nice location on the island, still very easy to find the city center just a short walk away. I would absolutely come back to this hotel if I'm ever in Liège again!
Cons: The room was a bit hot at night with no AC, there was a table fan in the room though so we were pretty ok! Could also open a window!

Pros: Great hotel, rooms have just been renovated to high standard. Really comfortable bed and quiet room, good shower. Didn't get to try the breakfast as the renovations hadn't finished. 10 minute walk from the uni and 25 minutes from train station. Steep stairs up to hotel rooms. Lovely view of church from room.
Cons: TV didn't really work but I think that will be sorted out before the renovations are completed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable alone.

3.6 Mediocre
Pros: The hotel was in a good location within easy walking distance of the city centre and atractions.
Cons: We booked the 'suite' which was actually a small entrance room with built in wardrode, wall mounted TV and three quarter bed, with a staircase leading up to a very narrow bathroom with low ceiling and large bedroom with double bed, TV and small seat. This was not a 'suite'.
4.0 Okay
Cons: We have selected this hotel, because it offered Wireless network, however we could not get on line. No alternatives were offered, and we were on a bussiness trip. The shower was broken, and the breakfast for €12 was totally overprised (should be half!)
5.2 Okay

Pros: Really nice hotel, big rooms with sofa and big TV. Bathroom with big shower. Parking for free in front of the hotel. Hotel is more for couples...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, room, service, parking just near the enter - all was great
Cons: We spent 2h to fill jacuzzi with water but it was fun))
7.5 Good
Pros: First see comments of what we didn't like. So after overcoming the unease, the extras (in our case, a sauna within the room) was actually quite a bonus. You can book a simple breakfast for 10€ per person (delivered to your room).
Cons: It's a bit out of the way for meals (at night, especially if you do not know the town yet). As mentioned by another commenter, it would have been good if it was clear that this is hotel for couples to meet for discreetly for sex. (We were passing through & most hotels near the highway were not available. And were a little uncomfortable with the kinky deco. Of course, after overcoming the unease, everything was clean & OK)
5.0 Okay
Pros: The decor was lovely.
Cons: The lighting in the bathroom was poor and there was nowhere to put a toilet bag, no shelves etc. The room had no air conditioning so it was very hot. There was no restaurant, breakfast was delivered to my room at 9am. The breakfast was very simple and basic. I had requested gluten and lactose free and both were catered for.
7.9 Good
Pros: Family house, recently converted in a nice 6-rooms hotel. Quiet location in a Liege suburb, not far from center. I got a very big room, well furnished and with great bathroom. Ample free parking in the street, good internet.
Cons: 3rd floor but no lift. Top floor room may become hot in summer, and I haven't see air conditioning. Decorations are a bit eccentric (bright colours...) but ok for me
5.4 Okay
Pros: At least the shower was alright. They have a bike parking.
Cons: This is sex hotel and should be made clear on their profile so that people that have nothing to do with it avoid this property. They should stop asking for credit cards in order to copy them. This is illegal. They should accept card payments and stop avoiding tax. The breakfast is nothing for EUR 10. For the same price in Liege you will get so delicious a breakfast, you won't forget it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful room. Good in-room breakfast. Comfortable bed. The hotel is in a quite district of liege, few km away from the city center. We'll definetely come. Back !
Cons: No elevator
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist was a very positive and helpful person. The quality of the hotel was ok.
Cons: The check out was a bit too early (10 am, it shall be 11 am).

Pros: Great Location, very kind and polite staff. Car park close by. I took a very low and wide car and managed to get it in safely to the underground car park. this is not important, really , but it is for some customers. I don't know Liege, however , this is a great 5 star place to stay. Its an amazing building. Many levels and wonderful views. Pros: Good breakfast and nice common area with foosball and ping pong tables. Staff were friendly and helpful and the place was nice and clean.
Cons: Stayed for three nights and my keycard needed to be reactivated every morning which was frustrating. Would be nice to have things like soap in the bathroom. It was also rather warm in the room but I was there during a bit of a heat wave and there are only a few windows for ventilation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable Each bed has USB port, power socket and personal light. There's a guard that covers the head area and does a good job of blocking out some of the light. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice , clean and quiet small hotel . Highly recommended
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Very easy to get to downtown. Nice retro vibe
Cons: No air conditioners and very noisy at night.
7.1 Good
Pros: Little room and badroom Friendly staff Good breakfast
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The private parking ($) is a bonus.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Room desperately needed air conditioning in the summer.
7.9 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, good location
Cons: Walls are too thin, you can hear snoring from other rooms for example.
6.7 Good
Pros: Room rate was extremely cheap and was worth the the room which was clean, recently refurbished, same for the bathroom. Hotel is located next to the histotical center, has a closed parking lot (garage) with good fare per day. Breakfast looked good. Staff was incredibly helpful, nice and motivated to make my stay a success. Breakfast looked good even though I did not check that option.
Cons: Room was small (individual with one single bed) and had no window (well, there was 1 but it opened on a closed courtyard with elevator shaft at 50 cm from the window)
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The staff was kind!
Cons: The room need a general refurbish and the smell in the room was so bad that persisted in the cloths days after!
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location. The property was clean and a good value place to rest your head for the night. The staff were very friendly.
Cons: The rooms were too warm as no air con and the bathroom was tiny basically a little cupboard so could barely move in it.
7.1 Good
Pros: Relatively inexpensive, bare bones, just needed a place to sleep pretty much. Nothing bad, nothing great. The staff guy at night speaks English, the lady in the day...nope.
Cons: There is no feasible way to actually stop and check in until you've found a parking spot. And good luck with that. The streets are very confusing, and there's a barrier in front of the front door that prevents someone from pulling to the side at the door to handle check in before going to the reserved (paid for) parking. 10€ for parking isn't bad, but you have to check in first, then get the key fob for the garage, then park your car, but there's no where to park while you're checking in.

4.6 Okay
Cons: We were given the wrong apartment, which was much smaller and much less convenient than the one we'd chosen and paid for. We'd booked a two bedroom flat with terrace, and ended up with no terrace, and only one bedroom + a sofa bed. Very, very inconvenient as we were travelling with elderly friends.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location, comfortable apartment, good bed and bathroom, quiet at night
Cons: No host, very impersonal, kitchen appliances were very dirty and inadequate
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Linens dirty. Walls filthy. No air conditioning. Walls painted black. Very dark inside
7.1 Good
Pros: Full apartment, good location in city center
Cons: The sofa is also a bed but therefore its really uncomfortable. During my stay and probably a few more weeks at least, there are people renovating a building across the steet: a lot of noise starting at 7 am.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, clean, great location for sights and groceries from local store less than a block away. Lots of restaurants close too. Parked in park axe down the street first Eve and overnight ($24euros)but next nights stayed on street just in front and police walking by said it was ok as long as we left early (before 8). Not sure if that is ok but no tickets for us and was sooo convenient. LOVED this place. Wish weather had been nice enough to be on lovely patio.
Cons: Lighting in living room at night was a bit too dim even with lamp(husband said painting room lighter colour would have helped that. A cloth for the kitchen would have been nice.
6.7 Good
Cons: Very noisy, expensive parking arround, imposibility to lower temperature in the appartament
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Difficult to review Cathédrale as I was relocated to the En Neuvice flat after technical problems at the Cathédrale flat. But En Neuvice is nice as well and is well located in a vibrant, but still not too loud part of the city
Cons: No shower just a tub

9.6 Excellent
Pros: location is good. They don't have refrigerator in room. the reading light and room light is not separated.
Cons: location
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was good, staff helpful and shower excellent!
Cons: Parking for motorcycle in hotel car park non-existent. Told that Motorcycles we’re not welcome there. No explanation given. Had to drove a mile away and walk with all our bags. Disgusted with this discrimination against bikers!
6.7 Good
Cons: ugly, very small room; two single beds next to each other (instead of the requested double bed), which moved/rolled around and could not be combined.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Very little
Cons: Rooms stink for humidity
6.3 Good
Pros: Quiet. Friendly helpful staff. Good shower. Good location.
Cons: Small room. Carpets dirty and stained. Room was dusty
7.9 Good
Pros: Comfortable room, new or refurbished, friendly and helpful staff, city centre easily accessible, secure underground car park. Make your own waffles at breakfast was a real hit.
Cons: I haven't been accosted by so many beggars in Europe for forty years. These were not immigrants, or at least spoke fluent French. I don't have the answer, but clearly there is a social malaise in Liege that needs to be addressed if tourists are going to be made to feel welcome. It's not the hotel's fault but it definitely impacted our stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Conveniently located with a parking garage directly underneath (advantageous parking charge). Clean and comfortable rooms with friendly and helpful staff. This was our third stay here.
Cons: Breakfast was not very interesting and rather expensive, but was copious.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was clean and tidy but the toilet was very noisy due to it being a maserater toilet
Cons: I booked a twin room for me and my mate. The room was a good size but not laid out well. The beds were side by side. We had booked the hotel as it had parking but when we arrived we were told we couldn't park our motorbikes on site and had to park in a multi storey carpark 5 minutes across town.
5.4 Okay
Cons: The big problem with this hotel is their centrally controlled air con system, which did not seem to be working well enough, and the windows in our room were hermetically sealed. We were sweltering in this breathless room and couldn't sleep - I had to call reception at about midnight who swiftly moved us to a room where the windows opened. I'd never normally complain like this but it was like being suffocated. Big relief and a much better night's sleep (although the new bathroom smelled slightly of smoke!). The hotel is nice, clean, spacious, well located and people are friendly, but the temperature control was a total deal breaker. There was also no apology at any stage, or explanation. Reception check in was also slow as they only had one person on the desk.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was good, and centrally located. Rooms and facilities were as expected
Cons: The site lists parking beneath the hotel. However the carpark is not available to motorcycles and this should be made clear on the WEB site. We were given the impression that this was the first time that they had received this complaint but literally 20 minutes after our arrival another 5 motorcyclists turned up and had the same problem. We choose our destination based entirely on being able to have secure parking for our bikes and whilst we ended up in a carpark a short walk away, this carpark was also not very accommodating. Insisting that our 5 bikes which took up only 2 spaces would still be charged individually.

Pros: The apartment is in a perfect position to explore Liege. it's near the Meuse, in a small artist street. No access for car, you have to park somewhere else, there's a big car park nearby, and you can park for free on Mondays (but watch out for the market!). Flat is big and comfy, very clean and you have everything to cook and enjoy.
Cons: more an advice than a negative thing, some brochures on what to do in Liege would be great. Oh, and glasses for belgian beer :D

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant and helpful staff clean room plenty parking
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was self service, traditional and sufficient. Each room has Air Conditioning. Hotel is close to the town centre which was approx a 20 minute walk away. There is a bus stop by the hotel for people who would not choose to walk to the town.
Cons: Pets ( Dogs ) are pemitted to sit with their owners in the resturant. This would not be allowed to happen in the UK. There were dogs every where as the Campanile actively encourages customers to bring their pets. At one point I almost stood in dog waste that a customer had left uncollected outside the door of their room. Another customer pushed their pet in a pram which they then placed beside their table as they ate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for dog show have used hotel before
7.9 Good
Pros: The receptionist was very friendly and positive, parking is very convenient in front of the hotel. A nice hotel to stay.
Cons: A bit too far from a city center but still walkable distance (2.7 km but uphill).
4.6 Okay
Pros: Beds not bad
Cons: In spite of requesting a car park space , because the hotel was running some sort of event ,we ended up parking 500 yards away and having to bum luggage along what looked like bomb damaged roads

6.3 Good
Pros: The staff members are friendly. Even while the bar was closed at night, the receptionist did get us some drinks, he was very nice. Located nearby the city of Luik. Breakfast was nice as well.
Cons: The rooms and overall look of the hotel seems a bit outdated.
5.4 Okay
Cons: At the first glance the room looked shabby and this impression grew aggravating during my stay: the shower head did not work properly, the batteries in TV remote control resulted exhausted, the glass in the window was cracked while the window itself was warped and could be not closed regardless of all attempts.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The rooms where very clean, you could easily and quikly get a taxi, the breakfast was very good.
Cons: The bar, the welness building and the breakfast being open a little longer.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast (creamy omellete and sunny side up eggs, mini donuts, different pasteries,...) Next to the elevator there was a table with free snacks (fruitella's, Celebrations, different fruits,..), was a very nice touch.
Cons: The whole sink leaned forward so if any water got outside of the bowl it dripped on the floor.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Tidy room
Cons: No flemish televisie-interview Chanels, poor internet quality, too much noise at 6h30
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice location in a large park, quiet while being conveniently next to motorway. Excellent for 1 night stop on the road for those who wish something better than the ultra low cost motorway hotels. Provide a nice breakfast as long as we are considering this just as a stop along the the road.
Cons: The place is getting old, feels like travelling back to early eighties. Furniture is quiet dated, but not in bad state. Restaurant style reminded me of those former East-German places.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: No air conditioning although they did give me two fans to use. Breakfast on Sunday was not good and late

7.5 Good
Pros: Location was good, room was fair size - though bit dated with certain interior. It was clean. Breakfast was fair. Staff was pleasant. We stayed one night, so room served the purpose.
Cons: Room is not sound proof, could hear our neighbour very well. Parking - paid parking is only available from 16:30 and then you can pick up car from 8am in the morning. So if you arrive earlier, you will have to find alternative parking and you will not be able to leave earlier than 8am.
6.7 Good
Pros: Stuff is willing to help. Speaking English. Even some spoke Russian. Nice restaurant downstairs.
Cons: Restaurant was very long to cook food, although it was quite good. I was hoping to take shower in the room for 70 euro. In the late night water was cold. At 9 water was cold. Hot water appeared at 9.50 when I had to be in other part of town in 10 minutes. Didn’t have a shower at all. It really sucks.

Pros: Friendly staff, clean and a good size single room. Easy to walk to from the station, to the centre and to rue Saint-Gilles. I liked the fact you could help yourself to a hot drink in the breakfast area at any time (without charge).
Cons: No full-length mirror (maybe the room was designed by a man?!)
