Pros: Perfect service. Helpful staff with excellent knowledge of English. The room with sea view is great (sunsets are unforgettable). There’s everything in the room what you need. Right of reception is the tour firm. They offer wonderful tours. We bought Mari Mari (very informative and exciting). And diving (super crew!!!). Very close from the center («welcome seafood restaurant is pretty good, fresh seafood), not expensive on the taxi.

Cons: I wanted to change my itinerary and bring my hotel stay a day forward, from the 21st to the 20th. I offerred to pay the difference in rate if any. Hotel staff told me they cannot do that for me as booking was made via a third party. It was actually made via a fourth party as Kayak outsorced it to getaroom.com. The actual helpline indicated in the booking email (469-675-5368) was possibly run by a fifth party. They were utterly unhelpful with my request to change the booking date by a day, even though I did offer to pay any difference in price. Rigidly cited some sort of policy. I went back to the hotel staff in person and tey also continued to refuse to help.
The consequence was that I had to book another hotel for the 20th, did not stay at Le Meridien on the 21st and my money was wasted. I will not be booking via Getaroom ever again and I will be avoiding Le Meridien.

Cons: The dynamic pricing which meant we paid more for a Friday night stay in a lesser room at the beginning of the trip than we did for a superior deluxe room at the end of the trip. They were booked at the same time...why should this be ? I understand supply and demand but this sort of profiteering does not go down well with these foreign visitors.

Cons: The hotel needs renovation to improve their facilities, e.g. gap at the glass door of shower meant the the bathroom floor pooled after a bath. The temperature in my room could not be controlled at all. It was freezing cold the whole time. The fan speed could not be controlled. Towels were all under-rinsed, and smelled stale. I washed and reused the towels provided.

Cons: It’s outdated. No isolation whatsoever!!!!! If the posted online that there would be a concert next door we would not have booked it. We booked 2 separate nights, because we were going to climb the mountain and we did not sleep the night before because they had to praktisch until midnight (had to wake up at 5 am) and we did not sleep when we came back because of the concert. We had be climbing from 2 am and just wanted a good shower and sleep(we arrived back at 6 pm). Unfortunately again very loud music until midnight. To delay our going to bed because of the music, we did some laundry 550 m away and you could still hear the music loud and clear. It’s not the hotels fault but they should inform future clients if this happens again, so they will have the option to book or not to book. If you do not have to wake up early or go to bed early then you are fine. If you do then don’t book it!

Cons: Reached around 2 am and was put into an inter connecting room, without any warning. Had to ask the reception to change and got offered either a room with no windows or a twin. Chose the twin, which ended up smelling like smoke so badly that I couldn't sleep. The bathroom was dirty and full of dust and hair. Floors hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. The walls had mold and paint peeling off. And if I'd open the curtains I could see straight into the room across (too close!!). The hotel should really take better care and not offer guests rooms that have been smoked in or are in such a condition. Oh, there's also no privacy in the bathroom. The toilet has a very weird setup and there's practically no door between toilet and bedroom (it's transparent and has a big gap at the top).

There were 3 staff at the counter 2 on the phone and 1 with another guest - whilst I do acknowledge they were busy attending to guest queries, I would have appreciated a gesture or non-verbal cue they were aware of my presence. When a staff did attend to me he did not apologise for the wait. This was the 2nd time this year I stayed at the hotel, would have been nice if the staff had acknowledged it. A simple welcome back or nice to have you with us again.

Cons: Breakfast menu a bit frustated,less of choices. Breakfast time given until 10am but when i took a cup of tea,it's cold already. The other foods mostly finished. And For the bread toaster,they should put the manual beside how to use it, not all the bread toasters are same. or at least they put their staff to guide cust. No fridge provided inside the room

Cons: The carpet on the corridor of the second floor was in a poor state and the pattern atrocious. Whoever choose that should be shot!!!! Our room (208) was too small for 2 people but ok if you were there for 1 or 2 days. An electric jug and a couple of chairs would be handy.

Cons: wifi was slow or not working. The room service didn't clean the shower room. The air-conditioning was smelly, the key cards have to renew more than three times on our stay. The power connector in the bathroom wasn't working.

Cons: Room needs to be redecorated. Shower door doesn’t close properly & bedside lamp nearest window doesn’t always work. Room looks & feels very tired. Breakfast okay but from memory of my other visits, not as good as before. Pity no bacon served each day as I think it was before. Also a pity the courtesy transport to & from airport has been cancelled.
