Pros: WiFi is faster

Pros: Excellent location. Hot water in shower. Private cubicles in dorms. Lady who runs the place is friendly. Breakfast - toast, waffles, tea and coffee

Cons: Unfortunately, one of the top bunks in the female dorm room had ants living in the wall. After some bug spray this seems to be resolved. I was able to move to another bunk and the owner was contacted.

Pros: Perfect location Within walking distance to the mall, jesselton point, the pasar malam and seafood

Cons: It was noisy as we can hear people talking because our room is right in front of the check in counter

Pros: The Location is decent in the City centre. The breakfast is good with (real, not instant) coffee and waffles and some fruit. The Lady working at that time was friendly and helpful.

Cons: I had a single room which did not have a window and was next to entrance/reception, therefore a bit of noise (not at night, though). Unfortunately, the hostel does not really have a dedicated common area. Therefore hard to meet other travellers or get some Things done. For toilet, you have to take the toilet paper from outside the bathroom with you, otherwise it would get wet because toilet/shower are in the same space. Upon checkout day, I had to pay 5 Ringgit to take a shower after I came back from the beach in the afternoon, which I found Weird.

Pros: The staff at the hostel - Huang Ah Yi was courteous. The relatively small scale of the hostel meant it was cosy and we could get to know the other guests well.

Pros: Location, Friendly Staff, good simple breakfast

Cons: sometimes may a bit noisy due to the room near the lobby.

Pros: Simple but satisfying breakfast. Staffs -Sheldon and Bong - are very nice and accommodating. Location of the hostel is perfect as it is near to almost anywhere around the city. I will definitely stay in this place on my next visit.

Cons: For its price, eveything is perfect. Safe place to stay. Perfect place for the budget travellers because fod stalls are available in the vicinity starting 5pm.

Pros: best for the backpackers hotel

Pros: The restaurants, shopping malls and everything are just in walking distance from Borneo Backpackers. Love it! I totally enjoyed my breakfast on the rooftop.

Cons: Shower might need some improvement. Other than that, I'm happy

Pros: Very strategic location & value for money, nearby walking distance to all the famous tourist sight, the seaside, the market, the Gaya Street (weekend). No need Grab. Just walk around, everything you want is there. Very much recommended for those who first time come and wish to go round the city. The sitting room just make you feel very much at home.

Cons: Honestly, i could not spelt out anything which i don't like.

Pros: Nice common spaces. Good location. Great neighborhood.

Cons: Thin door, noisy. Also street noise. Bathrooms not clean. Receptionist not friendly and didn’t prepare breakfast as agreed.

Cons: Staff inefficent. Blanket & pillow not comfortable. Bathroom fixture very bad! Need urgent fixing! Door lock missing. Shower head need to be change. Towel railing too need to be fix. Overall unsatisfactory!!

Cons: You have to wake up someone every time you want to come in after 12

Cons: Was not notified that hotel was middle of night market every night and have to shift car everyday to locations apart from hotel front and traffic jam was heavy at town center. No lifts at hotel and no fans available. Hotel room was hot and humid, shower water was small and the water leaked with shower pipe damaged. Toilet flush was also problematic as the flushing mechanism was damaged also. No daily towel change.

Pros: Strategic location at KK

Pros: The facilities and staff are very excellent that worth the amount you'll pay. It is located at the Center City nearby the tourist spots and market places.
