Hertz was listed as one of the car rentals when I searched for a car at Peoria Illinois airport. When I arrived at PIA I was told that the car rental Hertz had not been at the airport since Covid. I had to take a cab to the Hertz pickup place in Peoria, thus paying $50 to pickup the car. You mast take down that misleading information on your site,Reviewed 25 Jul 2024

Pick up took 50 minutes. I was told that someone had called in sick so the only lady there had to go clean each car before it could get rented. Then the manager came in and explained the car cleaner had hand surgery and was out for weeks (so the lack of car cleaner was entirely foreseeable.) They also told me they didn't have my reservation despite me having a kayak confirmation email with a Hertz confirmation number. It very easily could have been a lot better customer service.Reviewed 4 Nov 2021
