Pros: Premium economy was very comfortable
Cons: The staff at check in was terrible and unhelpful. And the entertainment turned off about 3 hours into the flight. (10+ hour flight )
Cons: No issues-very clean cabin and bathrooms. Professional team!
Cons: The woman who checked me in at the start of my journey from TLV on 2/17/20 provided exceptional customer service. She was very professional and customer service excelled beyond measure. Thank you. My return flight on 3/23/20 was enjoyable and pleasant. Bathrooms on plane very well maintained. I will definitely fly El Al in the future!
Cons: The back of the plane was very hot.
Cons: a little more leg room
Pros: Very helpful crew. Cabin felt brand new. Good food for economy.
Cons: Seat was difficult to get comfortable in. Seatback was broken. USB plug in seatback was broken. Double-prong headphone jack made using my noise cancelling ones a challenge.
Pros: The plain... excellent, new and flight friendly
Cons: The comfort
Cons: More organized boarding. Better service in flight. The flight attendants didn’t come around accept for meals. No water offered and no snacks in the galley as other airlines offer.
Pros: Amazing and loveable crew, on time and very safe
Pros: I was upgraded to economy plus at no charge
As there were empty seats
Cons: No hard liquor. Only wine
Cons: meets expectations
Cons: Boarding process was not nice. Secondary check up is fine but explanation would be helpful and communication from airport crew was awful.
Cons: Excellent flight.
Pros: Nothing was amazing on this flight
Leg Cramps and Lost Luggage
Pros: El Al flightcrew was courteous and friendly, and the aircraft was new.
Cons: Horrible leg room, poor seat comfort, poor entertainment choices, food and drink service was inconsistent. El Al airline lost not one but BOTH of my checked bags, and the number they gave me to call to open a baggage claim had no answer and a full voice mail box. I will never fly El Al again no matter how cheap.
Pros: Everything was excellent but not enough legroom.
That is all airlines. Not just El Al.
Unfortunate that a 6'1" man has to be punished for being tall.
Pros: The service and the smiles of the team. Very professional pilot.
Cons: The food...very bad.
Cons: Service and amenities very poor.
Cons: The seats were completely uncomfortable. The entertainment and the service were good. The sandwich is horrible.
Pros: I did early check in and got through in 15 minutes including security
Cons: No movies
Pros: Crew was great. Plane was clean
Pros: Very nice crew flight all was amazing
Pros: Nice movie. Tasty salad meal. Crew was professional.
Cons: Flight was full and I was requested not to take with me my suitcase on board. This is absurd that they let people bring to plane more stuff than allowed on the expense of other customers.
Pros: Seats had enough leg room compared to the normally moved close together seats on El AL planes.
Cons: No hot drinks or any drinks were served other than a small water bottle.
Cons: The boarding process is somewhat unorganized.
Pros: Professional security and interviewers, best in the world.
Cons: Dated entertainment systems, few choices for films. Earlier food service is better for a late flight.
Pros: Yes crew was amazing and bathrooms remained clean for entire flight
Pros: Great crew. Great food.
Cons: Seats were ok, could be better.
Pros: Amazing knew, service poor food, seat uncomfortable
Pros: On time!
Pros: The crew was great!
Cons: They have channels on the tv instead of VOD. Pretty old. Also the blankets were dirty.
Cons: Not comfatable very basic food
Pros: The crew was friendly
Cons: When I plugged my phone into The back of the chair in front of me to charge my phone it would not work and I could not get my phone charged the entire trip which was not good.
Pros: The entertainment and that’s it
Cons: The flight was late for an hour and it’s not the first time with el al
Cons: Business class on the dream liner is great
Cons: It was delayed on 4 hours.
Pros: The crew was amazing
Pros: Service is good and landing on time.
Cons: BC seats are not comfortable due to the old 777-200 plain. Breakfast was lacking elementary things like warm bread, butter!!! I asked for yoghurt, there didn’t have. These are basics!
Pros: Good service
Pros: almost eveything
Cons: Get more check on agents.
Be more efficient with the upgrade bid eponse.
Don’t be late!
Cons: Online check-in didn’t work (and anyway there is no difference if you check-in online when you arrive at the airport). Security checks were very (very) tedious.
Pros: Pleasant crew.
Very nice food.
Premium economy definitely worth it.
Pros: The crew was nice and it wasn't a full flight so we had room.
Cons: The food wasn't very good and the headphones were a bit uncomfortable
Pros: 777 & entertainment
Pros: Nice crow
Cons: Please be advised that on the ELAL flights there are additional security conducted, and only when I’ve got to the head of the line to board, I’ve been told I need to go through it, and I’ve been addressed aside to their personnel to do so. They should announce that to be cleared to all passengers
Cons: Smooth, accurate and very enjoyable.
Cons: Staff was rude and abrasive . Was the first time I didn't enjoy my flight. The. Entertainment system was pre historic and the sound was even worse. The duty free had a very small selection.
Pros: The application for entertainment was good
Cons: Everything got delayed in an hour and a half, due to intense traffic. This is irresponsible, such things should be planned and taken into account!
Pros: Great crew! Nice new plane
Cons: Paid for baggage on the website but website didnt work and was forced to pay full price in person at airport. Frustrating!
Cons: Bad service, no drinks offered, hardly any food offered, many kids running in the hallways
Pros: i really slept well. comfortable seat
Cons: getting luggage out faster
Controlling operations out of a hub in Tel Aviv, EL AL flies to more than 30 countries across the Middle East, North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. A strong focus of the network is connecting Israel to the north through gateway destinations across Germany, France, Italy and the United Kingdom.
Recognized as the official flag carrier of Israel, it serves an entirely kosher menu of meals onboard. Sun d’Or operates as a subsidiary of the larger carrier and concentrates efforts on providing seasonal services to vacation destinations, such as Croatia, Greece and Spain. Codeshare agreements with airlines, such as Air China, S7 Airlines, Iberia and American Airlines, offer a wider-spanning network of connected flights.
You can choose between Economy and Business Class on all EL AL flights, with Premium Economy also available on services operated by wide-body jets. Customers in all cabin classes have access to USB and power sockets. Seats in Premium Economy have inbuilt footrests, while those in Business Class extend to a 78 in flat bed. The Business Class experience includes the option of choosing an isolated window seat or larger shared central spot that comes with a privacy divider.
Boeing is the preferred manufacturer, with their aircraft making up the entire fleet. Models such as the 787-9 and 737-800 are some of the most commonly flown. A simple blue and white design decorates the fleet with the Star of David painted on the tail. A unique 787 Dreamliner has an old-fashioned retro livery, while all planes are named after Israeli cities, which is printed underneath the cockpit window.
