Cons: Let me start by saying this is not a 4 star hotel ! First the room cleaning is bad. Second i asked for a baby chair during breakfast and they said no chair for baby. Third my wife is seven month pregnant she was alone and pushing the baby trolly, she asked one of the staff to use the disabled lift but she said no this is for disabled people only you have to use the side and the slidding side was almost 90 degree and the trolly is heavy !! My wife waited for me outside at the hotel door till i came to push the trolly up !! This is a very bad attitude from the front desk employee! And even when we complained her attitude was not nice ! Forth there is no fridge available in the room. Fifth there is no room service even though it is mentioned in booking that there is ! I asked for a slipper and they said you have to come down to the front desk to pick it up yourself !

Cons: I have never been in any hotel with worse service than here. I‘ve been in many 4 and 5 star hotels. We always had bath robes, slippers, coffee and tea in our room. Here you don‘t get it. Reception is not available most of the time. I had to call many times before someone pick the phone up. We didn‘t have the water the whole day. So whole day without shower or water for toilete. And only answer we got is that they can‘t do anything about it. I know they can‘t give me water if they don‘t have it but there is other service they can offer as a sorry. Breakfast is 24,90€ per person. That is crazy. View from our room was on constructions. And nobody asked me if that is ok or gave some other offer because of the whole situation. One more thing we had a late check out at 14:00 but our room was cleaned up at 12:00 and locked up so we couldn‘t come inside. I mean all that together was just too much. So we are very disappointed. Never again!

Cons: I was overcharged - billed more than agreed through booking.com by 100euro for the first night. Hotel is in a construction zone surrounded by scaffolding and very bright green security lights that penetrate the dark curtains. No rest and it felt like I was sleeping on scaffolding. I would not go back.

Cons: There is only half a shower door. I was reading the reviews thinking it’s weird how many people flooded their bathroom, but yeah that certainly happens. I was alone so I could mitigate the damage by using the bathroom door and several towels, but it was still bad. The bathroom sink also drained VERY slowly. Unsure if it was just my room. Also don’t like that the pool costs extra but it is what it is.

Cons: When I got there they informed me that there would be an up charge because the room they had for me did not accommodate the number of people on my reservation. Am still trying to figure out if I paid twice for the room There is also no concierge and the staff is not overly friendly. However, they are very competent and pointed us in the right direction to get the information we needed.

Cons: The room we were given smelled very strongly of cigarette. We immediately complained but the only member of staff there at the time told us the hotel was fully booked for the night so we couldn't switch rooms. He said he'd get back to me once he spoke with the owner, but he never contacted me, neither by phone or by knocking on our room. We ended up sleeping with the windows open, but the smell was still there throughout the night. The air in the hall was much cleaner than that of the room. You get what you pay, I guess.

Cons: When we booked, we were not asked if we wanted a breakfast included. In every single hotel we were the days before, all breakfasts were included, so we forgot that in this one it wasn't the case. The asian girl in charge of cleaning the dining room waited for us to start our breakfast to ask for our "breakfast card". Obviously we didn't have it. So she became VERY UNFRIENDLY, asked for our room keycard and went to the reception desk. When she went back, she just gave us our keycard back, without a word or even a smile. We would have appreciated a request for this breakfast card BEFORE we entered the room. We felt like we were trapped, after feeling that we committed a crime. Too bad, so far it had been a very pleasant stay.

Cons: The bed was really uncomfortable but that's the risk you take when abroad.

Pros: The hotel is 150 meters from the main train station. Very convenient. The tram pases across the street.
Cons: The hotel is old. The main issue that disrupted my stay was the lack of Air Conditioner. This hotel has four Stars, I never imagined that with such high rating would be lacking something so standard. I stayed on July 3 rd, on a top floor. We opened all the windows, including some in the roof, which helped a little, but being in Summer, it rained in the middle of the night and water started to fall on top of our beds.
The other issue was that the shower hose was clogged, even though there was lots of pressure in the pipes bearly any would come out. Not a very pleasant stay for a four star hotel.

Pros: - Great location. - Düsseldorf hbf is just 4 minutes by walk, the tram stops in front of the hotel, which goes to almost every direction. Metro stop is also nearby
Cons: - I booked a room with a queensize bed, but they gave me 2 one persons bed. - The bed was too hard and uncomfortable. - Bathroom too small and not hygiene - There's too much noise from the street
