pickup line was about 2 hours long. Several people not in line mentioned they stood in line for 1.5-2 hours and then had been waiting 2 hours for a car they still didn't have yet. We didn't have time to deal with that so ended up taking an uber instead even though our rental was a prepaid non refundableReviewed 29 May 2023

It was a 2 hour wait for my vehicle, they said they only had an SUV for $336 (For 2 days), versus $236 for a sedan. Worst rental car experience I’ve ever had in 40 years of travel.Reviewed 27 May 2023

Very long lines and disorganized service. It took over two hours to get the car and get out of the airport. Each step was a wait. Wait to check out, wait to get the car, wait to leave the parking lot. It was too much. I'll never use Dollar again.Reviewed 8 May 2023

It was a horrible experience. Waited 4 hrs in line. People working at the counter or laughing having conversations with other workers, leaving their area to get coffee while hundreds of people were waiting in line at times or only one person working at the counter with six employees there then getting to two or three people working the counters taking their time it was horrible.Reviewed 1 May 2023

Dollar Car Rental at the Atlanta airport did not have a vehicle when I arrived for pickup. I was about the 30th person in line with a reservation when the counter announced they were out of vehicles (for all 30 people), and that it would be 3 hours before the next vehicle would be available. Luckily, another rental company had a car I could rent. I will never rent from Dollar again.Reviewed 24 Apr 2023

5 hour wait at the airport for me and others that arrived the same time I did. The group of people that were there had all been waiting 4 hours for their cars. I previously rented through Dollar at ATL and waited 2-3 hours. It's clearly a pattern, not a one time situation. I will never rent from Dollar at ATL again. I'd rather pay more and be guaranteed a car when I arrive at the airport. I had made reservations days in advance, they clearly overbook their reservations.Reviewed 19 Apr 2023
