Pros: One of the best things to look out for at breakfast is the excellent eggplant and the quality of the made to order omelettes.

Cons: There was nothing that could have been better. The staff were friendly kind and helpful and the place was clean with good room service. However it was not a 5 star hotel with all the amenities that implies but it did it's job as comfortable clean and welcoming.

Pros: Perfect location in the mid of old town. Everything is in close walking distance. Perfectly clean rooms, high sealings, ideal bathroom, free welcome water in the room. Very good breakfast. Ideal top comfort beds!!!!!

Cons: Nothing critical to mention. Except reception personnel could not answer some basic questions about good restaurants (were giving reference to average quality touristic locations, while there are real good once in Bucharest), they did not know exactly where is a bus stop to catch bus to the airport. Small things. I think staff needs to be trained about basic questions asked by average traveller. And... you will be given room with back court yard view even if there are plenty rooms with street view available. To my opinion this is big mistake. If you have rooms available with nice street view (in Bucharest it is worth as there nice buildings around), this will promote your hotel much better in the eyes of the guests, just offer it as a exceptional gesture from the hotel...

Pros: We arrived early but after one hour they had our room ready. Also the check out is at 14.00 so it was awesome, as our flight was at late afternoon. The location is the IDEAL for someone who goes for first time to Bucharest or has business in the city centre. The old city is full of restaurants and cafes and there are in a walking distance of 5 minutes. If I will go again to Bucharest i will stay again at this hotel.

Cons: I tried the burger from room service on the basis that it should be hard to get that wrong - unfortunately the meat was too dry and tasteless

Cons: The program for outdoor garden starts only after 12:00. A lot of people were outside in the morning looking for a decent place to take the breakfast or maybe drink a coffee and smoke in an open space. Second, the food is not so good as it was before!

Pros: The roooms are spacious and luxurious and are kept up to scratch with top-notch housekeeping. The executive lounge offers an array of food and drinks from early to late with helpful staff who work hard to look after the substantial numbers that use the lounge. For easy and reliable transfers from and to the airport the hotel offers a cost-effective pre-bookable shuttle service.

Pros: The breakfast isn't so bad, but with a price tag of 20 euro.

Cons: It was a big disappointment for paying that kind of price and staying in that kind of hotel (I stayed in Intercontinental in different city before and it was a much better experience), because I was expecting staying in a 5-star hotel. The room has really really old carpet. In the room center, there are multiple cigarette burns (at least 4 or 5) and the balcony is an eyesore with bare concrete and not clean. The entrance light and bathroom light share a common switch. If I need to go to the bathroom with lighting in the middle of night, I need to turn on the light at the entrance, which will wake up my family member. Whatever the hot water making machine makes huge noise. Not recommend!

Pros: Location was awesome. Right in old town, easy to walk to a huge variety of shops and restaurants. The included breakfast is not bad with a good variety to accommodate everyone. Liked the Nescafe machine- great coffee.

Cons: The hotel has a bit of a weird set up, where half of the rooms face an internal atrium. If you get one of these rooms you can hear everything going on in the lobby and the restaurant, regardless of whether you have your window open or not. Speaking of which, these internal rooms are very, very hot. There is a thermostat in the room but even if you have it set to the lowest setting (18 degrees) it feels like 25 degrees. I had the manager come up to see if it was broken and he said it was working perfectly and it was a lovely temperature, why didn't I like it? I am a person that runs cold- I am constantly wearing slippers and sweaters and throwing blankets on myself at home- if I'm saying it's hot, it's hotter than most people can take. I tried a different internal room and it was exactly the same and eventually moved to a room on the outside perimeter of the building, these rooms have a window to the outside with fresh air. You can hear a bit of traffic but it's much easier to sleep. They charge something like 40 euros more a night for these rooms, which seemed like a lot considering they are pretty similar, just quieter and not boiling hot. (by the way I had two colleagues staying at the same hotel and they had the same experience- they didn't change rooms and they barely slept all week due to the noise and heat). The internet does not work very well. There are connection issues- particularly with newer apple devices. I have an iPhone X and I was only able to get onto the internet 3 times in my 8 night stay. The manager told me this was a problem with my phone- even though I have never had an issue connecting to the internet anywhere with this phone and I connected to wifi no problem with other restaurants in the area as well as at the airport. I was able to connect with my laptop and iPad without issues. It was fairly fast (on average about 7-10 MBPS up and down) although it's not completely stable- occasionally there are dips so if you are doing a lot of video calls for work, keep that in mind. Housekeeping was mediocre. On the days when I tipped, the room was cleaned ok. On the days I forgot to tip they barely made the bed and threw the towels in a heap in the bathroom. They never replaced my dirty glasses all week and only gave me new water about 50% of the time. Sometimes the empty water bottles were left just sitting there (I left them out so they'd remember to replace them). My colleagues started to put the do not disturb sign on their doors during the day because they felt they could do a better job tidying up than the maids. The hallway lights are on a sensor and sometimes they don't turn on for quite a while so you are walking in the dark which is sort of weird. Breakfast was good- the only negative thing is that the waitresses are very aggressive with requesting you fill in the satisfaction survey so they will interrupt you while you are mid-bite and stand over you until you fill in the survey. Very odd.

Pros: Very good hotel with a central location just off Piata Unirii. My room was large and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Nothing not to like about this hotel.

Cons: Breakfast starts really late. The whole property has only one iron. One morning they woke us up at 7:00 to give back the iron cause someone else need it. Our room n.112 was faceing a wall. No view . nothing just a wall. If you open the window hot air comes in from some machines. We stayed for 5 nights. It was my fault to acept this room. We could hear everything from other rooms . but everything. One night we slept after three o clock cause some people talk really loud. Recepionist one morning was sleeping on recepions sofa. No profetionals at all. I will never stay there.

Pros: Rather nice rooms RIGHT in the center of the town but also on a quieter street (If you don t take into account the people drinking on the hotel doorstep. See the negative section). You can t get a better location than this. Rooms are rather on the small side but they are quaint and nicely furnished.

Cons: They permit the many Homeless people to stay RIGHT on their doorstep. And those guys get LOUD during the night.. Mind you it s not unsafe because of this. There s a police station right next door with people patrolling nonstop. The Window to my room wasn t really closing very well so i could hear all the trafic and the larm downstairs. Don t go there with heavy luggage. To get to the reception u have to go 2 flights of stairs. No Elevator, no ramp. Then you get in the elevator.. you get to your Floor and.. surprise surprise.. you have to go down some 15 steps again. It s a funny way to build a hotel. All in all i found it an ok deal for the money. Would stay there again if my usual hotels were booked (like this time).

Pros: Rooms were modern and comfortable. They aren’t very big but are enough for those looking for a nice quality room that isn’t old in decor. The staff is very nice and friendly. Right in the middle of the city Centre where you can walk everywhere We enjoyed our stay in this hotel :-)

Cons: The parking is really an issue here as they don’t offer any private parking which makes it hard on those like us they rented a car. Stairs to get into hotel can be challenging for the elders or us with a small baby and luggage but nothing completely unreasonable. Unfortunately our shower had a leak which kept the floor wet most of times.

Cons: the hotel is located in the old town, not far from Balcescu Boulevard, however a taxi cannot reach the hotel, you need to go either to Unirii Square or to the Hilton Garden Inn Old Town Hotel

Pros: The location is great. The hotel is small and well designed. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful

Cons: Breakfast... The products are fine. The veraiety is quite wide and the dining room is well designed ,clean and comfortable. The issue with breakfast is the service. There is only one lady,as far as I saw, that serves all hotel's guests. I guess she try to do her best ,but it's not enough. Therefore if you come to the dining room at the last hour it's in service (9:30-10:30)the service you will be expecting is very low...you wont be able to get most products, you will have a hard time to get some coffee and you will probably get rebuked by the lady who is in charge of breakfast...i am assuming that the hotel management is aware of this issues cause complaints about it have been written here and while staying there took place several times. It is disappointing that it wasn't being care so far.
