Pros: the hotel is only 2 years old so it was not worn, it was very clean, beds very comfortable. it is in the city so it is slightly noisy since apparently Romanians can't drive without honking their horn constantly. the morning breakfast was very good with enough variety for the average traveler. the price is very good for the value at this hotel. when coming from the airport use the Meridian Taxi, (phone 021 9444 021 9888) it cost me 30 Lei ($10 US) when I arrived and when I left. the cab price is marked on the side door, there are many taxi companies, some of them will try to charge you 2-3 times more stating the price is higher outside the city. ask the rate before you get in, Meridian was 1.40 at the time of this review

Cons: The hotel is situated on a huge crossroad, therefore it was horribly loud - I was not able to sleep at all both nights. The shower was malfunctioning. The air in the room was very smokey. In the breakfast area - the smell was horrible because of smoke as well - apparently between breakfasts that area is a bar.

Cons: I thought the hotel was excellent for the price I paid. it's not luxury but very nice, clean, friendly staff. the hotel is only 10 minutes walk to the metro. from the metro you can get to all parts of the city. metro is clean

Cons: I don't think the hotel star rating is correct as advertised in website. Bed very not comfortable and room also not sound proof which you can hear people in the next room talking. Toilet condition also poor and wc cistern box flushing not function.
