Pros: Location and reception staff

Pros: Perfect central location. The staff are professional, polite and friendly. The hotel has a lovely bar area. Rooms are very clean. Sheets are changed everyday.

Pros: AMAZING SERVICE.

Cons: THE MAIN DOOR AT LOBBY WAS OPEN AT TIMES WITH NO SECURITY. THERE SHOULD ALWAYS BE SOMEONE AT THE FRONT DOOR. SPECIALLY IN HIGH PEAK HOURS TO MONITOR BETTER WHO ENETRS AND EXITS HOTEL.

Pros: the location is great even though very hard to get there.

Cons: We got there late at night and could not get to the street. The stuff is nice and polite. the hotel was too kitchy for us, the price was very high for the value. The room they gave us was very far and noisy from the motors of the a\c. With this cost you would expect more!

Pros: beautiful room. given an up grade as we're Leading Hotels members.

Pros: Service was excellent! The best I have ever experienced. Real 5 star service from the doorman, front desk, restaurant staff, bar tender, housekeeping, etc., all the employees were extremely courteous, helpful, attentive, and professional. Hotel is very nicely and tastefully decorated, lots of artwork and fancy walls, ceilings, etc, and our room was very comfortable. They gave us a free upgrade upon check-in (from a deluxe room to a grand deluxe). Location is perfect - it is right in the middle of town, close to all the attractions, restuarants, and shopping. Yet the inside of the hotel is very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast buffet (included in our room rate) was AMAZING!! Excellent food, lots of choices, and of course excellent service from the staff. I think it would be OK for kids, but it is probably better suited for adults. My wife and I had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this hotel!

Cons: There is a small gym which I would have liked to be bigger with more equipment The grand deluxe room was a good size, but I think the standard rooms are quite small, especially for what U.S. tourists are used to.

Pros: The location, the decor, the turn down service, the perfectly quiet room, the breakfast which was excellent, the attention to detail... but above all the staff - from the moment we arrived each and every staff member was so helpful, polite and kind to us, they all made us so welcome and that really made a lasting impression. As I said every single staff member we encountered was wonderful, particular mention to David at the front desk who was outstanding with all his help, he made us a dinner reservation, gave us recommendations, booked our train tickets. There was nothing he could not help us with! He even gave us recommendations for Venice! Thank-you to all at The Grand Hotel Majestic. We will never stay anywhere else in Bologna!

Cons: We loved absolutely everything.

Cons: Building work outside our bedroom window at 8am and we paid 500 euro a night

Cons: I would recommend to put hair conditioner to the shower!! Also, my cloth all wrinkled and no iron to use only as a additional service.

Pros: Location for Station is perfect. Despite it being on the main road it is quiet at night and really only noticeable when the city wakes up. The rooms are large and comfy. Breakfast is a good spread. The Staff are courteous and professional, and genuinely seem happy to be of service. The Hotel is just a short walk from restaurants and cafe's.

Cons: The bar is pricey

Pros: Good front office and bell staff as very helpful.

Cons: I think you should offer complimentary water to guest and include at least a continental breakfast.

Pros: Lobby and restaurant were lovely and updated, unfortunately that's not where you actually stay.

Cons: Rooms were terribly outdated and dirty with stained carpets that goes half way up the wall... nothing like the lobby. Staff is rude. Would never stay here again.

Cons: It’s the service not the property. After travelling for nearly 3 months this the Ist time that the breakfast was not up to standard of other hotels. The morning fruit salad or even just the pieces of fruit were sub standard. Should not have been served. Already fermenting.

Pros: Good location for travelling, opposite train station, Airport bus across the road, easy walk to historical area of Bologna. Nice meals area, and breakfast, everything you needed there.

Pros: Excellent location in the historic area, big rooms and very friendly staff. Hotel arrange for a late check-in just after mignight upon request which i am grateful for.

Cons: Hotel is on the 4th floor of a building so difficult to find initially but once you're aware entry and exit is seamless.

Cons: The room was at least 5 degrees hotter than outside. In August, where outside was 36. The little clunky fan was not nearly enough to cool the room, so at night we sleep with more than 30 degrees. Its a great location in Bologna, but DO NOT GO in summer!

Pros: Albergo Panorama is very well located. You can arrive directly from the railway station (15 to 20 minutes by foot) and then you are at the centre of Bologna (it is about 5 minutes from Piazza Maggiore, the heart of the city). The view from the room is very beautiful There is only one hiccup : you'll have to share the toilets and the showers. I didn't have to find one empty every time I needed it, but better to know beforehand. So you'll have to decide if the advantages of the place (location, view ...) counterbalance this unhandy thing.

Pros: A nice apartment in a great location. Perfect for a family of 5 including 3 children. Friendly helpful staff.

Pros: The staff were so accommodating and lovely. Due to unexpected circumstances, we had to book into the Albergo Panorama last minute and the welcoming and helpful nature of the staff helped us to relax and feel safe! The rooms were clean and well equipped, as were the bathrooms. Breakfast in the morning was simple yet filling and we were very grateful for it. The location is absolutely perfect as well, right in the heart of Bologna! Highly recommend!

Pros: Huge room, lovely view of the street, nice chairs and table to sit and relax in. Facilities very good, very clean and always available. Really good place to stay, would certainly try and stay here when I was in Bologna again! Can't fault it at all.

Pros: The room was exceptionally clean with towels changed daily. Very good shower. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was good. Lots of choice for breakfast. A good 20 minute walk to get into the centre of bologna but the hotel is on a bus route with regular buses running so not a problem.

Cons: Not massive problems but only one wine glass in the kitchen and it would have been nice to have a couple of chairs on the balcony.

Pros: Great location on Via dell'Indipendenza (the main road between the old city & train station) making it easy to navigate when you first arrive ; about 10 minutes walk to Piazza Maggiore and likewise 10 minutes walk to the train station. Friendly & helpful staff. Great value for money & would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Bologna.

Pros: The hotel was clean and the location was great!

Cons: I had booked a room with a sofa bed and the receptionist gave a us room without. I had to double check my booking and show it to them to have them move us to the correct room.

Pros: The breakfast was ok but poor selection of fresh fruit and the worst coffee and fruit juices ever !! Location was good for sightseeing.

Cons: Street noise sometimes obvious and construction/repairs to nearby building contributed but tolerable for us.

Cons: This hotel has one serious thing to complain about which dramatically affects comfort of staying. Its air conditioning system doesn't work at all. The apparatus in the room blew out warm air which according to hotel staff was "no more than 25 C". In all other rooms I tried to change for the situation was identicall. It was very hard to stay in the room, it was very hard to sleep in it, no relief after coming from the street, considering that temperature in Bologna during my stay was up to 35 C, etc. It's pointless to discuss other things regarding comfort of staying if basic physiological conditions aren't met. Hotel staff provided poor explanation that the problem was because of the high temperature outside. However, at the reception air conditioning was good, shops in the buildings next to the hotel didn't experience any problems, and hotel in Agrigento where I stayed last year also had no problems with air conditioning though temperature was higher than 40 C. The situation didn't improve even after temperature in the city became around 27 C indicating hardware problems. The minor issue was that on one day maid didn't change the towels and just hanged again used ones and didn't do bath accessories refreshment. Don't recommend this hotel at all despite any its advantages. Luckily Bologna is small with plenty of choices.

Cons: The bed was very hard and the pillows were the worst, just exactly like rocks. The AC was pathetic, my room was like an oven so I moved to another as the porter said the AC was broken in my room. There was not much improvement so finally the third day they gave me an electric fan. Very noisy but it helped somewhat. I am returning home very underslept and with a very stiff neck from the dreadful pillows

Pros: The hotel was excellent, clean, good staff, very good breakfast. We had a corner room at the front a beautiful room The hotel is about 800metres from the train station and about the same to Piazza Maggiore so easy walking distance to all the major attractions and restaurants
