OK for a weekend
The staff hardly speaks English Breakfast was really bad. 2 types of croissant, one type of bread and two types of ham. No vegetables, very bad, dry and cold scrambled egg. That was all.
Loud and Hot
The hotel is located quite close to the central station in Bologna
The hotel is on a main street, my room was on the first floor facing the street hence there was very loud traffic noise. The room was extremely hot. I was told by the staff that the ventilation system cannot be used until mid-April and my window was broken. When I asked to be moved to another room, I was told they were too busy. Not a nice stay at all.
really nice hotel just steps away from the train s
This hotel had an excellent breakfast and very clean interior, modern decor and great location. The staff was very helpful
restaurant downstairs gets a little rowdy in the evenings, but you can't really hear it from the rooms. The exercise area is a little bit of a joke, but at least there's something.
Reception was very helpfull good brackfast, location + room
no hotel parking. the parking outside is not cheap. take it in acount
Serious problems with Air Conditioning
I wish I could give this place a better review. The room was very comfortable and they had great freebies, more than just the usual shampoo. And the breakfast is excellent (although we were there early, around 7:30), even though some others have complained about it when arriving late. However, it was over 30 in Bologna and muggy when we were there (even at night!) and the thermometer in our room was showing 29 when we arrived. There was no point trying to turn it up as the A/C is controlled by the front desk. Yikes! Never heard of such a thing before, but it's true. The temperature only decreased by a degree that first day. The second day was even worse--the A/C was "broken" and only repaired late in the day. Of course none of this matters if you happen to be visiting outside the summer months...oh yes, almost forgot. The electricity went out in our room altogether on the third day, but was taken care of promptly when we notified the front desk.
