Pros: Location

Cons: For a 5 Star/W property we were very disappointed. The room very small, bathroom small and outdated. Room had musty odor. Pool was closed for repairs (we understand the need to do this but not good for us).

Pros: Great hotel, lovely staff, great experience.

Cons: Too dark in the halls, bedroom, and in some places in the hotel. Not sure why they don't have sufficient light throughout the hotel.

Pros: We've always enjoyed W Scottsdale and figured we couldn't go wrong with W Bangkok. Very modern, in the heart of all the action whether you're looking for a ping pong show in the red light district or a fine evening of dining and drinks at nearby sky bar (featured in the Hangover movie) or Moon bar, or seeing the sights like the royal palace or nearby temples.

Pros: Everything was perfect, staff, attention to detail, just absolutely perfect can’t wait to come back.

Pros: The hotel is beautiful, the staff were great, baths are quite nice, pool is good.

Cons: The climate control in one of our rooms was a little iffy, but fine in the other. The location is convenient if you wanna go by taxi all the time, but if you’re inclined to walk or take the subway it’s hundreds of meters to anything at all. It’s doable, just kind of a dull walk in the heat. There’s nothing right next to the hotel except an office building and another hotel.

Cons: I have stayed before an felt the service was not as good . Buffet breakfast was slow and bit sloppy at times . We were in premier suite and lobby high tea was inconsistent . Food was good when came but what we got as in quantity varied . It should be the same each day every day .

Cons: The hotel is getting old and needs referbishment and the staff were not very qualified. The concierge ripped us off by using a very expensive tour operator, maybe with a kickback to the hotel!! We forced him to change the tour operator on our second trip and found a much cheaper one for the same trip!!

Pros: I booked this hotel in order to propose to my girlfriend and I have to say the minute you get out of the taxi you are just welcomed with open arms. I booked the grand suite where once we werechecked in at reception we were brought to a club lounge to finalize everything with check in. As already mentioned I booked the hotel in order to propose to my girlfriend so I booked a table for 2 at the Vertigo restaurant which was on the rooftop of the hotel on the 62nd floor. Yes the food was a bit on the expensive side but I have to say that the whole experience was just amazing and the night time views of Bangkok just blew us away. Thanks to all the staff of The Banynan Tree for making it a night to remember.

Pros: I stayed at the hotel with my family and we all enjoyed our stay very much. The 2 bedroom appartment was very spacious and very well furnished. The pool and the Bistro at the premises was also a treat.

Cons: The filthy state of the Bandara Suite we booked. Mould in the kitchenette, mould in the shower, and over powering smell of must and mould in the second bedroom and the general dialpidation of the kitchen itself and furniture in general. It’s clear why Bandara are running almost permanent ‘sale’ and ‘special offer’ campaigns. This building is, on top of being neglected, one of the noisiest we’ve ever stayed in. Every door slam reverberates through the building and noisy drunks arguing at 4am mean no sleep for all bar one night. If you like listening to your neighbours inane chatter or being woken up multiple times in the night then the paper thin walls of the Bandara Suites are for you. You’d better hope your not located below an incontinent guest as you’ll hear them peeing in the loo too. Given there are loads of serviced apartments in Bangkok you’d have to be mad, or desperate to book Bandara. We travel to Bangkok twice a year and have done for 15 years. This is without doubt the dirtiest and least well looked after property we’ve stayed in, everything in grimy and dirty. Look out for CLEAN written with my finger on the 22nd floor dust. We’ve stayed in some pretty grotty 3 star establishments in Bangkok over the years. Bandara Suites Silom joins them as never to be repeated ‘experiences’. Bandara Suites Silom boasts a 4 star rating. We can only assume the inspector was blind. Avoid.

Pros: It was my first time in Thailand and I was blown away by; how big the room was, how attentive the staff was and how cheap it was. I was looked after better than I have ever been in my life.

Pros: Spaciousness of the room and location. The room was also well-lit, the bed was nice and large. Shower facilities were nothing special, but the bathroom was clean and everything worked well. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

Cons: It would be great if the tuk-tuk service can be extended to PM. In addition, would be great if they can pick up the guest from the BTS Chidlom too. As current tuk-tuk service is provided till 5pm only. In addition, the walking distance between the hotel to the nearest BTS was quite far, I spent for about 15-20 minutes to walk from BTS Chidlom to the hotel during the night.

Pros: Enough space, balcony for smoking. Nice kitchen! Very nice overall!
