Pros: This is my 2nd stay at this hotel. The location is great being close to 2 night markets and quite a few shopping malls within 1-2 train stops away. And there are lots of good food near by! The hotel rooms were big and the bed was comfortable. All round hotel service was good.

Cons: This i guess is just an small issues, but it won't affect me coming back to stay again. Which i mention my room have some issues so we are told to change our room and of cause we did it. One of the staff who came over to bring our stuff to our new room which is at another floor, did not came up to bring us and we are not given our new access card. We ended up finding a technician to bring us to our new floor and what's funny is the staff who bring our stuff down ask for tips. Which i think is not a usual practice to do so maybe the management could do something about it.

Cons: This is the first time for me to write a negative review, but I would really like to warn other travelers, as I find it difficult to understand how does this hotel receive good reviews. To cut a long story short we left after 1 day although we paid in advance for 4 days, for the following reasons: 1. The room was smelly. 2. the room is not close to what you see in the pictures (we stayed at the suite which is in a building opposite the main hotel building). Everything is old, worn and tired. 3. The beds were uncomfortable and the room was noisy (street noise, not the best windows). 4. Breakfast restaurant was smelly and the food was horrible. 5. Location is bad, nothing nice in a walking distance, not even a decent place to eat. The hotel street is not really nice. 6. The pool and bar area is run-down - nothing like you see in the pictures!!! (it looks great when you take night photos) 7. the only good thing here is the staff which was friendly. The main feeling is sad in this place, looks like nothing was really maintained there for many years. Before we left we asked to speak to the manager. We were told that she is on a lunch break but she will get in touch with us. We haven't heard from her or anyone else until today (more than a week after we left).

My morning mocha was under $1.40 and available in several very close booths. The room was quiet and large with a fridge and some kind of rice cooker I did not understand. I felt absolutely safe in the hotel and around it at all hours as a single, middle-aged woman. There are always people around. Highly recommend the massage place downstairs. Fabulous to get done and go back to the room to sleep.

They also offer bikes (not in the best condition), which you'll need. Overall the room and bathroom was nice (with a couple caveats I'll mention below). I liked the view out the windows, the big windows were nice, and the best part was the desk and chair I could work from. Most of the staff were really lovely and helpful. They let check in early (although with a 300 baht charge - still worth it) which was nice.

Cons: The bathroom although mostly clean had these little flies I didn't see at first, but were all over. In the shower they were on the walls, and one morning upon waking up I found a bunch of ants all over my toothbrush and had to throw it away. I think the place needs to be sterilized. The wifi wasn't very good - it would drop very frequently, I'd have to wait a few minutes, then it would come back, then drop again. it was very frustrating. The system they use is unnecessarily annoying. It's a secured password connection which is nice, but then you have to log in again with a username and password unique to your room. It was especially frustrating with the phone, which would frequently disconnect then you'd have to log in again, every time I picked up the phone.

The people from Indian Pakistan or Arab countries will not be entertained properly for food. Secondly , Breakfast timing must be till 11 am because tourist wonder in Bangkok till late night and shop or enjoy till late night. Pros: Great place to stay, very decent, neat and tidy although a bit far from the city center but very near to four leading flea markets: Rachada Rot Fai Train Night Market, Suan Lum Night Bazaar, Huai Kwang Night Market and the Chatuchak Weekend Market.. I and my family are booked here for a week and are still currently occupying 6 rooms (420, 603, 604, 605, 607 & 720) consisted of 2 triple and 4 double rooms. Atrium's hotel rooms are very spacious equipped with AC, LCD TV, minibar, coffee making facilities, toiletries along with a hairdryer and a safe to keep your valuables. My only complaint is the way the bathroom area has been designed. Doesn't matter what you do, the splash of water will flow on the flat space between the wall and the tub down to the bathroom floor. Therefore it's quite impossible to keep the floor dry. The hotel itself is quite lovely with a very cozy lobby and piano lounge that provides soft instrumental music all day long. Daily breakfast is a buffet with a wide array of choices while the restaurant and room service offer inexpensive all day long dining. The hotel staff is courteous and helpful. There is likewise a refreshing pool that will help you cool down after a day of bargain hunting at Bangkok's endless array of shopping areas!!!

Cons: The bathroom is outdated, WiFi can be patchy in the top floors. The worst thing about the property is the location. It’s a good 15min walk from the nearest MRT. So if you have kids or older people then the hotel is a no no. Also if it rains (like in my case), the entire area gets water logged. You have to wade through ankle deep dirty drain water. Since it’s in a single lane road, taxis create a traffic jam which took me about an hour to cover the distance to MRT.

Cons: -The swimming pool is tiny and right next to a busy, smelly street. Not really a "resort" at all. -Maybe the room used to be nice, but it looked awfully maintained. Marks and actual holes in the wall, and 'repainted PARTS' of wall (like 50x50cm) that were extremely obvious (white, unlike the rest of the wall) scream "we didn't bother to properly refurbish this place". I live in a 5-year old apartment and I'm not the best at maintaining it, but this looks like it's 30 years old. Not what you'd expect from a hotel. -The breakfast isn't too bad, but it gets really crowded. Not really a "boutique hotel". -The bathroom was in poor shape. Marks all over the bath tub and a dirty shower hose. -It really is just a 15 min walk to the MRT, but those 15 min will take you through a very, very busy, loud and smelly street with no sidewalk at times.

I paid for breakfast but I only can eat cereal and that is so bad like certain religion also they cannot eat meaty for example. I do not mind about pork just when you serve pork please also have other chicken rice or anything. It is quite dirty at the window of the room with too many cigarettes and also pigeon dirt. In addition, I have requested to come to our room to check the TV but they will not come. Please take another mode of transportation when you are from LRT when raining because the area will be flooded and you will have to walk without your shoes.

Unless here for dental work from BIDC there is not allor in the area (unless here for other reasons). There are numerous buses that pass close nearby and unless you have a full handle on the Bangkok bus system is is not of allot of value. Praso is a gem in the area and I'm glad I found it (whilst having extensive dental work done).

Cons: Staff didn’t reply to emails or took ages to do so. The pool was dirty and our room didn’t get cleaned or new towels

Cons: The facilities for clothes stowage was lacking with us having to leave bags on floor.Also now safe in room for valuables was worrying. Bed was very uncomfy and left us both with sore backs by end of stay
