Find cheap flights on Air Tahiti

Missed the flight (and our trip) because my son (11 years old) tested positive for COVID - notified KAYAK and the airlines 72 hours prior to the flight and over 10 days later have yet to receive a response on whether they will refund my almost $8K in tickets. Even if I do not receive a refund a response would be nice! On the bright side everyone is healthy and we still had a Christmas with the immediate family.

Long delay, horrible, slow and disorganised check in

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Very hot airport. Very slow check in, very chaotic horrible amateurim

An airline out of touch

Pros: Not much

Cons: There is NO padding on the seats. You are canned in like sardines without even a hint of comfort. When the seat in front reclines, be prepared to chew on the headrest in front, it's that close. The food is so poor i would not let a child eat it. Granted airlines are not known for food any longer, but still, serving a cool egg omlete that is congealed is gross! On my flight out, my seat was broken and would not recline. I can't imagine who would want to fly this airline, it has no good qualities at all

Pros: Timeliness of flight

Cons: Tight seats

Older aircraft

Pros: Use of Lounge in PPT airport as we were flying business class. Easy check in

Cons: Older aircraft was not updated. Business class seats in front of us reclined into us making it nearly impossible to get in and out of our seats. Some of these aircraft have been updated but you have no idea if you'll be on an old or new one. We had the new one at the beginning of our vacation. Couldn't use the entertainment in the armrest because we couldn't get the screens out. Flight attendants were not helpful. Nobody was using the entertainment.

Pros: Good entertainment

Cons: Tardy and unorganized boarding process, uncomfortable seats
