Company went bankrupt and out of business, we didn’t get any notification about it. We had to buy another ticket with another airline. Do NOT buy AeroMar tickets!!
My trip was cancelled by the airline
You guys are great
Baggage fees were really high and they did not accept any credit card other than MasterCard or cash. They also did not give me a receipt which leads me to think they overcharged me.
It was fine. The staff very friendly
Pros: I have been writing you to change that flight and you don't respond. It is Kayak that is poor in the response department I booked another flight and need credit per the insurance I bought. now for 2 flights that you hae not responded to
Cons: Contact with Kayak to work out changes and get responses ...no contact from Kayak to emails
Pros: Small airline but professional
Pros: I had no one sitting next to me , which was great because of social distancing. Staff where friendly.
Cons: Having somewhere to charge my phone
Cons: We had to buy an extra seat because there wasn't enough passengers that showed up so the flight was going to be cancelled. An extra 3000 pesos after a very stressful wait.
Pros: The crew was very friendly and kind
Cons: It took forever to get on the plane, and there was nobody at the gate for us to ask when we were going to start boarding. The website didn't have any information either. Since this is a smaller plane, it's prone to turbulence so it was very bumpy as we approached Mexico City
Pros: We could have drinks and snacks without purchasing them. And the crew is nice
Cons: Boarding was delayed and nobody said anything regarding the delay. There was no one in the counter and that was frustrating
Pros: Crew was super nice and we could have drinks and snacks without a charge
Cons: Seats were clean, just some floor vacuum
Cons: Delayed flight by two hours and lost bag. Definitely avoid Aeromar
Pros: Free beer, popcorn
Cons: We were bumped to a later flight because Aeromar overbooked the flight. There was no compensation for the inconvenience. Also the flight we were put on was 45min late leaving. The crew seemed to be wasting a lot time loading luggage on to the aircraft
Cons: Everything was good
Cons: Professional and on time
Pros: Service was great. The crew was great.
Cons: The planes feel old.
Pros: On time departure. Kind crew!
Cons: Requested an earlier flight since we arrived at airport early. We were told we would have to pay almost 7000 Mxpesos for penalties!!! Crazy! Same airline only 2 hours earlier.. Why??!!
Pros: Convenience
Cons: Using ATR's there should be a bigger savings on fares. Cost factors are less operating turbo prop aircraft. Your prices do not correspond with your cost savings in comparison with jet operators.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Flight on time, fligh attendants that didn’t bother me
Pros: My flight from Guadalara got deleyed and i couldn't get on time into Mexico city
Cons: Poor plane quality and delayed.
Pros: Pretty good flight overall.
Cons: Better snacks/ entertainment.
Cons: The flights to Acapulco and back to MX City were both late.
Pros: Very different with an in country Mexican airlines. Flight was 1 1/2 hours late. Everything very basic but comfortable flight. No food or beverage service.
Cons: Not knowing the language makes it a little different in figuring out boarding order and such but asking among the local travelers gets things lined up
Cons: We didn't get assigned seats as the system was not available so we ended up getting the boarding passes at the gate. However it was very chaotic as a lot of people were in the same situation. Then it was announced that the flight was delayed for another 90 minutes.
Cons: Over 1 hour delay and 2 gate changes with no communication! Baggage claim was as far from entry to terminal as possible.
Cons: More clear signs and instructions for boarding.
Cons: Flight was delayed ... had to walk to plane from gate. Arrival was good, bus from plane to terminal arrived directly at baggage carrousel
On board Aeromar flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 65x38x22cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Aeromar assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
KAYAK is a travel search engine, meaning that we continuously look across the web to find the best deals for our users. With over 2 billion flight queries processed yearly, we are able to display a variety of prices and options on flights from all airlines, including Aeromar.
Predominantly focused on domestic flights, Aeromar is a Mexican airline based in Mexico City. It operates a wide-reaching network across Mexico, which includes 20 destinations. A secondary hub is located in Guadalajara that is responsible for servicing nonstop flights to the west coast of Mexico, a popular vacation hotspot. International flights are also available to the United States and specifically southern destinations in Texas.
Codeshare agreements are held with two of the world’s most prevalent carriers: United Airlines and Turkish Airlines. These associations allow passengers to access more countries across the globe and use Mexico City as a gateway to Canada, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Economy is the only cabin class offered on Aeromar services. All cabins in the fleet are set up in a 2 x 2 layout, meaning that you are guaranteed either a window seat or direct aisle access. Complimentary hand luggage includes a carry-on bag and a personal item, such as a jacket or laptop. The combined weights of these items must not be more than 10 kg (approximately 22 lb). A maximum checked baggage weight of 25 kg (approximately 55 lb) is afforded for flights within Mexico and 23 kg (approximately 50 lb) on international services.
An exclusively ART fleet of planes is operated by Aeromar. Both the ATR 42 and ATR 72 models are regularly flown, with the dual-propeller jets quickly transporting passengers on short routes. The aircraft are designed to carry either 48 or 68 passengers. Due to these regional-sized planes being considerably smaller than large scale commercial airliners, the boarding and disembarking times are greatly reduced.
