Air Lingus flights were delayed on each of the three flights we took. Not a very good , and organized airline.
The only issue I had on this long flight was that when the stewardess would come over the speaker, which was several times due to turbulence, it came into our earphones so loud as opposed to just being in a normal volume it made me jump and wake up. Others around me were also commenting on this issue.
No window!
The family sitting beside me had a one year old constantly crying and another kid kicking my chair. I understand it’s nothing the airlines could do or it’s fault
Flight was ontime, clean, staff was friendly - there was turbulence but can’t avoid that (it’s a flight 😉)! The staff were attentive but would be nice if Aerlingus didn’t charge for coffee ☺️ but overall I enjoyed my flight experience and will travel with them again (Ireland’s Four star airline
We did not have a flight when we arrived at Dublin Airport. It took an hour of time for Aer Lingus to fix it. We booked our groups seats together but did not get to sit together after the mix up. The airline did nothing to apologize for the mistake. Wouldn't fly that airline again.
The seating area was small and uncomfortable. The person in front of me put her seat back and my area got even smaller!!
.Ealing could have been better but no complaints on everything else
Pros: Food and entertainment
Cons: Sits are terrible
Cons: Flight crew was rude
Pros: Thanks to COVID, minimal service
Cons: A cup of tea about $7.00. Can it be better. Certainly
Cons: Food & Beverage service almost nonexistent. Anything beyond water is almost $7.00.
Cons: Food
Cons: Lost a piece of luggage between Dublin and Edinburgh
Pros: See review for previous leg of flight.
Cons: See review for previous leg of flight.
Pros: Due to a hurricane, I actually missed my original flight date, but Aer Lingus allowed me to rebook (2 days later!) at no cost, which was really great of them. Absolutely no wait at check-in and very good service there. Got window seats on both legs of flight, with no one in my row. Meals on first flight leg were very good. Crew did a good job and made me confident of their work. Both flight legs arrived early. Everything went well. Very good airline - I will certainly fly with them again.
Cons: It seems that there was no snack or beverage on the second leg of flight (ca. 3 hours), but I probably just slept through it. Price seemed high for this route and season, but it was much better than any other airline: flying has become expensive in the COVID era. But Aer Lingus keeps us moving ahead. Great job!
Pros: Friendly staff, quick check in, very nice flight
Cons: Kayak is a horrible company and not easy to work with. They have screwed me royally and I will say nothing but bad things about them. They should not even be in business the way they have handled my situation including hanging up on me multiple times and changing the rules for flight changes, etc. Saying I am unhappy is an understatement.
Pros: Nothing. Lost money on flight
Cons: Refunding our flight and not stealing our money during the pandemic
Pros: I never got on the flight as there is a global pandemic and a mandate for NY'ers not to travel. The worst part is that I don't think I'm getting a refund.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: You are selling tickets for flights that are not available. You are taking money from people and cheating them. You should check to make sure the flights are still going
Pros: They were nice, rushed through beverages, but since it was a short flight that's understandable.
Cons: The top cushion on the seats could be less bulky.
Cons: Crew was a bit loud and kept me awake during flight in one of the tail seats
Pros: I love that you fly from Hartford. It makes my travel to Europe so much easier! Thank you!!!!
Cons: Our flight seemed to have only 1 toilet at the back of the plane that passengers were allowed to use so there was always a line. There was a second toilet in the crew area at the back and it seemed that they could have offered passengers to use that.
Pros: crew was super nice
Cons: major delay, no info, boarding process felt like a cluster
Pros: nothing
Cons: Opodo messed up my booking. I reached the airport only to find out that the booking was cancelled by Opodo though I received an email from Opodo 24 hours before advising me to check in on the flight. As I was busy with some construction work at home I thought I would check in at the airport. Opodo advisors were not helpful on the phone and I ended up missing a family get together due to their incompatibility.

Pros: Efficient and practical
Cons: Could always use a little more room
Pros: Best flight in a long time - comfortable seats, good food and service, good entertainment.
Cons: Can’t think of anything
Pros: Aer Lingus crew are great. Probably some of the nicest people in the world. Lightly loaded so boarding was quick and staff were lenient about cabin baggage.
Cons: My 757 is among the oldest aircraft in service, and it shows. Noisy and every surface is well worn. Seats are substandard in the industry for a long flight. Granted the flight was lightly filled, so that made it a bit nicer.
On board Aer Lingus flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 48x33x20cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Aer Lingus assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
Aer Lingus offers direct flights to 74 cities in 20 different countries. Dublin, London, and Paris are the most popular cities covered by Aer Lingus.
Aer Lingus concentrates most of its flight operations in Dublin.
KAYAK is a travel search engine, meaning that we continuously look across the web to find the best deals for our users. With over 2 billion flight queries processed yearly, we are able to display a variety of prices and options on flights from all airlines, including Aer Lingus.
Aer Lingus is a national airline of Ireland and operates out of its hub in Dublin. Flying extensively throughout the United Kingdom and Europe, popular vacation destinations such as France, Greece and Croatia make up a large portion of their seasonal routes. It has operated services across the Atlantic Ocean to New York since 1958 and has since expanded to offer more than 10 other American cities.
In 2015 it was bought by the International Airline Group and now exists as a subsidiary of the company alongside other European airlines Vueling, Iberia and British Airways. Codeshare agreements are in place with a number of other carriers including United Airlines, Etihad Airways, Air Canada, Alaska Airlines and WestJet. Despite having a limited number of scheduled flights through North America, Aer Lingus is able to offer a range of services via these codeshare agreements.
Preferring to use only Airbus planes, the Aer Lingus fleet is predominantly made up of short-to-medium range jets such as the A320 family. Boeing and British Aerospace aircraft have been phased out of the fleet. A distinctive green shamrock leaf is located on the tail of the aircraft. All flights within Europe operate with just an Economy cabin; however, longer transatlantic services also offer Business Class.
It exists as the official airline of the Irish Rugby Team, helping the players and staff fly across the world to compete in tournaments. The faces of star players have been detailed on the body of some of the aircraft, dubbed the Green Spirit. The regular shamrock feature is stylized within a rugby ball on these special models.
