The second room was next to the street, so although we were on the fourth floor we were kept awake by loud passing cars all night. The hotel gives you two tiny containers of gel for two people, and that's supposed to be your shampoo and body wash in the shower and hand soap in the sink. Way too little soap. The room was filthy dirty. The breakfast buffet was lacking - ice cold eggs, uncooked meats. We ended up eating cereal and toast from the buffet after paying 18 Euros. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

The rooms are modern and comfortable and the staff very accommodating. We also like it because they have parking beneath so checking in and out is easy. It is a very modern hotel built on top of the ancient ruins that exist all over Zaragoza and that are on display through glass in this hotel.

Cons: There was a ballroom dance the night we stayed there, so there were lots of people. It was quite loud and people were standing in front of the main entrance and smoked. Our balcony was right above them. No sleeping until the morning hours. My friends' room two doors away smelled like cigarette smoke and they put a super noisy machine in there and never took it away.

Cons: The breakfast was a little disappointing, although cheap. The rooms were not too well insulated so it was easy to hear others in nearby bedrooms. Being in the middle of the city be prepared for noise outside until quite late in the evening.

It is located about a block from a bus stop on a line that runs from the main train or bus station. The room was a great size for our family and was very clean. Pros: We traveled to Zaragoza to visit the old town of Belchite about an hour away, a town destroyed during the Spanish Civil War and left as it was. Before arriving I sent an email to the Hotel Palafox requesting information about how to travel to this site and they provided the name of an appropriate car service. The staff were friendly and found a room that was available for an early check-in. And the most incredible thing about this hotel was their restaurant, Aragonia, with the best food we tasted during two weeks of traveling in Spain.

Cons: That the air conditioning could not be controlled from the room. The food at the bar was disappointing. The rice in the Risotto was not cooked enough. The pizza was over cooked. More staff were needed at reception. The queues at breakfast meant that we had to sit down again and wait to get coffee. The two lifts were not enough when it was busy.

Cons: The room wasn't clean enough and very old-furnished. Such an impression that the hotel is old and it's owners don't want to renovate it. The schampoo/bath-gel was with terrible smell and (maybe) expired. When we entered the room it was very hot inside (because of hot radiator working without an option of switching it off (too old). But it was 20 C outside..... Luckily closer to night, someone turned off the heating centrally. As the conclusion, the price of the night could be cheaper.

I asked for a room change and the reply I got was that they had no other room. Again, I had already payed for a room with a double bed. Reaching for a bottle of water from the minibar, both available bottles were opened and tap water was in them...so couldn't get anything to drink at night. On top of that my freezer contained a month old sandwich and a humous that was starting to look like a forest with inhabitants... The room was positioned with the window on the inside of the hotel and above the air conditioning/ central heating systems. I cannot describe the constant noise. I was nonstop. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was like I was sleeping next to a hydropower facility. Couldn't get ant sleep, couldn't get any work done. Horror.

Pros: The good part it was the location.
Cons: Just I didn’t like about the workers it’s not about them. They’re not good not bad. But they didn’t know English and it was problem for me bec. I had little problems with my card. And then we found another person-customer- and she helped to us.

Pros: The room is large, cheap and tidy. You have to walk to the bus stop for 6-7 minutes where you will find the airport bus.

Pros: Brilliant value and location was ideal - close to the centre and with cafes and supermarkets nearby.

Pros: The receptionist entered our room before the actual check out time that we are entitled which is illegal and unacceptable and asked us to move out for no reason!!! I have never seen any other worse service than that!!

Pros: Staff were lovely and happy to help. Location far enough from the centre of the festivities but not too far! Went to Zaragoza to learn about spanish culture. It was delivered in truck loads! The Fiesta de la Pilar was amazing. We also took in the Museo del fuego y bomberos. We will definitely be back.
Cons: Walls of the rooms were paper thin! Could hear neighbouring guests. Have to assume they had to put up with the snoring also!

Pros: Nothing except maybe the location which is not so far from the center.
Cons: The man at the reception was awful, really unpleasent and disrepectful, he didn’t speak English, was speaking really fast and didn’t let us speak or even try to understand. He was even a little bit of agressive. We didn’t had the room expected, no bathroom nor balcony as it was sell on booking because of this man. The room was cheap and the cover of the bed was dirty. The rest of the hotel was kind of clean. I really don’t recommand this hotel.
