10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a great Bed and Breakfast, I had a text from Nathalie to find out what time we would arrive so they could arrange parking as there is only limited street parking, Typical for Ypres centre. When we arrived we found the property to be centrally located, and very convenient for the Menin Gate and the town centre, but in a very quiet location just near the ramparts, Claus helped me in with our bags and took me to the very secure parking area a few minutes from the house. Peace of mind to know your car or bike is secure in a city, although Ypres is a very safe place to be. Our room was immaculate, great bathroom, nice towels, plenty of water in the room and quality bed and bedding. There is also an honesty bar, so help yourself from the fridge, or if you like put your own beer in the fridge. All adds to your stay. Breakfast was typical continental with plenty of choice of yogurts, meats, cheeses and breads. Nathalie's bread pudding was especially good. All in all we have found our new favourite place to stay in Ypres and hope we can go back many more times. Thank you both
Cons: There is absolutely nothing to improve here, great location, secure parking, great bed and breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nathalie and Claus are charming hosts who made us feel like we were staying with friends. The breakfast was delicious, with freshly squeezed orange juice, bread and croissants direct from the bakery and anything else we could wish for. The location was great, on a quiet street an easy walk from the main square. Parking was also available in a secure private lot just down the street. It was a really wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend it.
Cons: No complaints!

Pros: Stephen and Katrien who were perfect hosts Great breakfast in a wonderful Location In a amazing property
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Katrien and Steven ,Our hosts, were so kind and helpful and made us feel so welcome. They went to a lot of effort to give us a huge amount of information about where everything is in the town and what to see.. also there is a fascinating link with the history of Ieper in that Steven’s own grandfather who lived at La Porte Cochere was a stone mason and with his brothers actually built the Menin gate, and the lions on top and many of the allied head stones ... he had all sorts of amazing photos of Ieper before, during and after the building of the city after the end of the war. The B&B itself is elegant and beautifully decorated and very comfortable.. the rooms are large and the bathrooms likewise .. well equipped and with everything you might need ..plus the bed was VERY comfortable and large!! Location couldn’t be better.. moments from the beautiful heart of Ieper and all the eateries and shops and the incredible Cloth hall where the museum is , and the Menin gate. All this and yet really nice and quiet at night. Breakfast was excellent with eggs and meats and cheese , and lovely bread and Steven’s home made jams!! Thank you SO much Katrien and Steven for being so lovely, for the great chats, and for making us feel so very welcome . We had a truly lovely stay, and have in the mean time recommended you to friends and family alike!! See you again! X

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a wonderful hotel - it began with the warmest welcome I have ever had at a hotel including a welcome drink...an offer to book a table for dinner, then to our themed room. Stunning. The warmth of the hostess was outstanding. Breakfast was perfect. Highly recommend a stay here. Even received preliminary information about the area to help plan our trip.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Elodie's attention to detail in both design and execution were exceptional. I am slow to put in a review as there are only six rooms and the more people hear about this the harder it will be to book. We went to Ypres to travel the Ypres Salient of WW1. We will be back purely for Main Street Hotel.

Pros: We had an absolutely lovely experience! Elondie, who greeted us, could not have been more welcoming. Our room was beautiful in a style that mixed old classic with some contemporary quirkiness. The breakfast was great, location was perfect plus lots of nice extra touches like having snacks and drinks available at no extra charge. Had we realized how nice the hotel was we would have planned to stay longer.

Pros: Everything was complimentary. The breakfast and hospitality was superb
