Top tips for finding Tirana hotel deals

  • If you’re looking for a cheap hotel in Tirana, you should consider visiting during the low season. You'll find cheaper accommodations in Tirana in April and February.
  • Hotel room prices vary depending on many factors but you’ll most likely find the best hotel deals in Tirana if you stay on a Thursday. The opposite is true for, Friday, which is usually the most expensive day.
  • Book at least 90 days before your stay begins to get the best price for your Tirana accommodation.
  • If you’re visiting Tirana for the nightlife, it’s best to book a hotel in the Blloku district. During the communist period, Blloku was a restricted area and couldn’t be visited, but it has since been reborn as the city’s hippest quarter with bars, cafes, clubs and shops. Try the Xheko Imperial Hotel or La Bohéme Hotel.
  • Running enthusiasts should consider a hotel near the Grand Park of Tirana, which features a large lake and acres of grassland, as well as running and walking paths. The park is near the centre and easily accessible. Try Hotel Pandora Residence on the eastern side of the park, or to be closer to the city centre, there’s Hotel Rimini Tirana on the western side.
  • If museums and culture are what you’re looking for, stay in the Tregu Çam district, which is beside the historic Skanderbeg Square and is home to the National History Museum. There are a number of good accommodation options here, including Hotel Elior in the district itself or Prime Hotel, which is right beside the square.
  • For those needing to stay closer to the airport, there are plenty of hotels in the Tirana International Airport area. The Best Western Premier Ark is right in front of the terminal building and Hotel Jurgen is directly beside the airport.
  • If you’re travelling with a young family and staying in the city centre, the Monarc Hotel, Mondial Hotel and Prestige Hotel Tirana are all great choices.
