Pros: price was good for decent hotel

Cons: There are other hotels that pay more attention to detail in terms of service, cleanliness, etc, but more pricier. This is a good hotel for the price.

Pros: We had access to the Tai Pan Club and the staff was phenomenal. From check in to check out they took care of us and helped make our stay in Taipei wonderful. Definitely recommend getting access to the Tai Pan club, Jenny and her staff are top notch. The location of the property is also great, short walk to the MRT.

Pros: Our room was really comfortable and clean. The location is great.

Pros: I like it that all the staffs there are very friendly.

Cons: I wish that pastries are provided at the lounge during the morning timing so that we can grab a bite before we head else where for breakfast :)

Pros: Luxury hotel with very nice staff. All the staff there are very nice and with good attitude. Room is spacious, neat and tidy. ~5mins walk to the metro station. Taking Uber to attractions aren't far away as well. Special thanks to Olivia, Guest Relations Manager, she helped to make a very memorable celebration. Will definitely consider it if heading back to Taipei again.

Cons: My room was next to the elevators, some weird noise was made all the time, not so loud tho. The exterior is a bit old, I was a bit deterred due to this reason before booking.

Pros: Clean and bright.

Cons: It was so slow in order to check in and there wasn’t any confusion on my booking but the staff was so slow. I couldn’t finish my check-in process in 30 minutes because the young staff was not familiar with the system (I know this because he tried to click every single button on the screen). I couldn’t understand why a 5-star luxury hotel would allow a poor trained staff to be at the front desk without an instructor. Moreover, other staffs didn’t come and try to help until I asked for help. At the end, I was asked to stay in the lobby waiting area for even longer waiting and this young staff took my luggage storage receipt and never come back. It was such a bad experience especially Regent is famous and high-end hotel but the service level was so poor. It’s not worth it to pay such a high rate and get the bad quality.

Pros: The location is great. Right above the underground shopping centre of Taipei station and just across the road of Taipei Main station (which you can get there via underground shopping centre Y5 exit or the footbridge entering from N3 exit) and Airport express (can go via underground shopping centre or cross the road). It takes approx. 40 min with express train to the airport, which is acceptable. It is right next to a shopping centre (small, like 3 levels) but definitely giving you good choices of food if you want to dine outside the hotel but also locally. The hotel is clean, good staff and customer service. We left our luggage on the day we arrived (not yet check in) and they delivered our luggage to our room after we check in. The cleaner did a great job in cleaning our room.

Cons: The bathroom area is an open area, especially the door of the shower room is complete transparent. it'd be fine to travel with partner but not with friends/other family members. It has a curtain to cover the whole area but would still prefer to have more coverage for privacy. The view of my room isn't great, because there is a construction site right opposite the hotel. If you "skip" the construction site, the view is ok. Since I hardly stay in the hotel during the day so I couldn't hear any noise. Photos shown views from my room which is on level 7.

Cons: AC did not cool properly, could not get room below 72 f / /22.5 C, even leaving it on all day. big disappointment for me, when it is as hot and Humid as Taipei is.

Pros: This is a large boutique hotel, so you either love it or hate it. I loved it. It does have a dark look, but the quality of the interior is terrific. The detail in the room, everything from the desk to the venting of the air-conditioning is very well done.

Cons: If you like to walk around, it's a little far from major attractions. The hotel was kind enough to arrange a cab for me anytime I needed it.

Cons: Way too dark!!! There is very little light in the entire hotel, from the lobby, to the hallway, and to the room. You can't really turn up the lights as there are very few lights in the room and they are ALL very dark. The entire ambience is gloomy and depressed, which is just so bad

Cons: The room had no windows and as the market was below, there was a loud banging from early in the morning which kept me awake but I am a light sleeper.

Cons: when you remove door card from the holder the electricity automatically off, including the AC..so when the roommates who has the card on the slot left to early and go taking his card , it leaves us dark and too hot...because where still inside and there was no card on slot...was confused of the idea since its a shared bed rooms.

Pros: Basic breakfast. Location was excellent. I think for groups it might be more worth it, especially because of the location.

Cons: Booked this based on expectation of gym facilities. I could have booked something cheaper that would have been the equivalent. Gym timings were not good and the 2 machines were in the front of the entry stairway inside the breakfast room??! without any separation. They advertised free snacks/refreshments in the evening but that was non-existent. They even stopped the coffee machine.
