Pros: They were doing construction on the lower floors, so they upgraded us for free to a junior suite because my dad is older and likes to rest during the day and couldn't with all the noise. Receptive employees. Breakfast was good. Room was very nice.
Cons: Breakfast was supposed to be included, although every morning, the person who lets you into breakfast would tell us we had to pay extra. I would say every morning that no we already cleared this up, breakfast was included and they would look again and say "oh yes, you're right". then we we checked out they told us we had incurred fees for having breakfast every morning and we had to again show them that breakfast was included. We stayed for 4 nights. Also, the location is goo but not great. about a 10 minute drive from everything we wanted to do.

Pros: Beds and linen were clean, staff were friendly.
Cons: No fresh air in rooms - could not open windows, air stale, it's horrible to go to sleep smelling other peoples BO. I did not like the fact that I had to buy a padlock in order to keep my belongings safe. I felt there should have been something provided that was included in the cost of the room. I did not like that it cost extra to stay in an all female room, above a mixed room. Missed having a kitchen - that is the whole point of a hostel surely - that you can make your own food.

Cons: Hotel was going through a renovation, as a result my room although the bed was made and clean, the furniture and phone, lamps etc were piled up in the middle of the room. The night porter wasn't very helpful, and I was so tired I just ended up just going to sleep and sorting out the room the next day.

Pros: Location right in the middle of things. Walking distance from the subway. Beautiful older hotel that is a welcome difference from newly built chain hotels in the US. Comfortable bed and great shower. Helpful staff.

Pros: I was in one of the small single rooms. By myself on this trip so that was perfect. Easy access to the city center as Central Station is across the street.
Cons: I've found that it's somewhat uncommon in European hotels to have an iron and ironing board in the room. This is nitpicking though. The hotel was well suited to my needs on this trip and I would certainly stay there again.

Pros: The place is cheap, clean, and practical. Location is not too bad. The bed linens are included in the price.
Cons: Actual room was much smaller than the pictures. Conditions were so cramped, that you have to walk sideways between the beds, and the air becomes stuffy with everyone in it very quickly. The Wi-Fi did not reach the room.
