Pros: 11th Avenue Inn was incredible. Wonderfully restored early 1900's home with hardwood floors, china, crystal, beautiful rugs. Step back in time to an elegant experience. Centered in a great neighborhood with shops and restaurants within a short walking distance. The owner and his staff were always around and happy to talk about things to see and do in Seattle. We loved the neighborhood experience.

Pros: a great and charming place of an old town villa. great breakfast cooked individually while you a chat with other guest at the joint breakfast table. clean and nice place with all amenities in good shape. Seattle downtown within walking distance. see you again next time in Seattle.

Pros: The location of the B&B is great and everything that comes with it is just great. Super friendly owner and staff. Fresh served breakfast in the morning and comfortable rooms (yes, no lift - but no issue!).

Pros: Staff were friendly, breakfast was nice, room a good size and comfortable. Close to the city and Space Needle, restaurants etc. Free parking was great. Had everything we needed for a short getaway and enjoyed our stay here. Would stay again if ever back in Seattle.

Pros: The location was walking distance to public transportation and the downtown area. Breakfast was great and served by very friendly staff. The room was nicely appointed and comfortable for being one of the smallest rooms.

Pros: The staff at the Inn were extremely friendly and helpful. We had tours prior to breakfast being served and they made up bagged breakfasts for us. When we did eat breakfast at the Inn, they were tasty and changed daily. They even accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. The beds were extremely comfortable as was the whole environment. We were 5 minutes from the Link Light Rail system and able to walk to all of the downtown destinations. Should we return to Seattle, we'd definitely stay here again.

Pros: Terrific staff that was personable and flexible. Lovely breakfast service (M you're the best). Facinating travel encounters that rarely happen in the franchise places. GREAT PRICES when the morning meal and little extras are factored in. I'll be back for sure!!!!!!!

Cons: The stairs going up to the third floor were steep and the short so it made it a little tricky when transporting luggage to our room. I would try and get a room on the second floor next time.

Cons: The neighborhood and B&B were a little longer in the tooth than I expected ... But all was good and I enjoyed the stay.

Cons: Showers were small but this house was built in 1905 when there was no indoor plumbing. This did not affect our overall opinion in anyway.

Pros: We have NEVER stayed in such a clean place - absolutely impeccable! Super comfortable and the decor is stunning. Bennett (who owns the inn) is so lovely! Friendly & helpful & he wanted everything g to be perfect for us, so we got the most out of our visit. I would definitely recommend the Gaslight Inn to everyone!

Pros: The home and rooms were beautifully decorated and in impeccable condition. The breakfast of homemade baked goods, yogurt, fruit, and coffee were all delicious, and the staff were very welcoming, friendly, and polite. Should I return to Seattle in the future, I will make a point to stay here again, and should I hear of others visiting, I will recommend it highly. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the conversations with staff and their kindness toward me. Staff were also very happy to help orient guests and provide restaurant and attraction recommendations. Around the corner from many restaurants, a local food co-op, Trader Joe's, local parks...and a short walk to nearly everywhere else. Neighborhood seemed very safe.

Cons: 1. My bathrobe had a big brown stain on the back and one of my towels smelled sour and musty
2. Breakfast was lazy (no hot options)
3. $160/night is a bit much for a room with a shared bathroom (yes, I booked it without carefully reading the description so that’s on me... but come on, when you see that price the possibility of a shared bathroom doesn’t even come to mind.)
4. The owner either has terrible taste or assumes his visitors do. One of the restaurants he recommended was a Tex Lex joint, which he catetegorozed as “ethnic” lol. Maybe he just doesn’t want to sent tourists to the places HE actually eats at? Either way, it kind of defeats the point of staying at a BnB.

Cons: I missed breakfast which is always superb. Snacks left for those not making it down on time And great coffee.

Cons: There were pubic hairs in the bathtub and the bathroom was shared. Staff was nonexistent and there was no breakfast if you had to check out early you got nothing but an old bag of cookies.
