The room was nice and I like that it's not a large hotel.
Elevators were slow, room service was expensive as were the rooms
We loved the location. We were only in Seattle for the night before our cruise and this was in the heart of the market district. Aside from their own wonderful restaurant there were plenty of other cuisines within walking distance. We also got to see some of Seattle and it is a short walk to the train to the Space needle and the MoPop. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff were lovely and gracious.
Lux linens, fun variety of items in the honor bar, robes & slippers
We had a view of construction. Not what we had hoped.
The location of the hotel was excellent. The hotel decor was very pleasing. Hotel staff was very helpful with one brief exception.
Room size was small. We could have used a chair in the room to sit on in addition to the small desk chair.
First I felt that the staff was more concerned with each other than with the guests upon check in. Second, our room was HOT and we had the air turned all the way down, we called down to have someone come and look at it and no one ever came. Third, I had to call down twice to ask for 2 extra pillows. Fourth, The rooms are small for what you are paying. Fifth, we paid extra for a water view and our room was on the 7th floor and we could barely see the water over the buildings and trees. Sixth, we were returning from dinner and came in to wait for the elevator and one of the staff members ran over to us to try to get us to come up to their nightclub on the rooftop, he was quite pushy so they must be incentivized to recruit guests which we did not like. Seventh, there were some kind of baked goods sitting at the front desk which we were never offered and one of the other staff members ran over to grab one for herself instead of offering to guests. It just seemed as if no one was running this hotel or the employees and I would never stay there again.
