I liked the waffles.
The room was nice, although a bit small. The breakfast was good
it too valet a long time to come and take the car when I checked in
Hotel was good but the neighbourhood is very average. A lot of homeless in that area not the hotels fault more just the San Fran area.
Nothing the hotel was fine, area not so good
Breakfast was solid as most Hampton Inn's are. Waffle maker, breads and pastries, but most importantly hot foods in the form of eggs and some meat every morning. Also they had both smoothies and juices which I appreciate. I didn't get a chance to use the fitness center though so I can't say anything about that. The room was completely clean. The bathroom is really nice. Gorgeous big shower, nice sink area.
There was only a power outlet on one side of the bed. It's not the worst to not have your phone charging on your night stand, but just a little annoying. Those are the only two complaints I had.
My overall stay at the Hampton Inn, Downtown San Francisco, was more positive than not from the location, fee charged for my stay, and the overall ambience. The breakfast was superb, for there were lots of healthy offers from which to select. I was impressed and thought about writing a special thank you to management.
My only concern, and it's not something that I did NOT like, but might I encourage the purchasing of some art work or prints or photographs and place inside of the rooms. The walls in my room, overall, were too barren, thus affecting the initial ambience. The exterior of the hotel has visuals which are timely, and the furniture and art work in the lounge are just wonderful and aesthetically appealing!
