Riva del Garda hotels near Rocca di Riva

Pros: Great rooftop views of the lake with a nice bar and pool. Breakfast was very nice.

Cons: Hot tub was not very hot - part of the pool. Bar closed at even the hint of rain.

Pros: Breakfast was very nice and the location of the hotel was perfect. Excellent views over the lake and only a short walk into Riva. Staff were excellent, front desk, breakfast and pool areas fabulous. Lots of events and entertainment offered by the hotel, a nice touch.

Cons: Towels were thin and frayed. This was mentioned to the front desk staff so hopefully will now be resolved.

Pros: Nice view and balcony in the room. The rooftop terrace had great atmosphere, nice cocktails, bar and a swimming pool. It had also live music with great view. Comfortable bed.

Pros: Skybar and Pool!!! Literally the best place in whole of Riva del Garda

Pros: Fantastic & friendly staff, a credit to the hotel. Everything was perfect on our stay, The evening entertainment was brilliant topped off by the amazing setting on the roof top bar!

Pros: A big thank you for a wonderful stay. What did we like we loved the room with wrap around balcony, the location was great for everything in the area and the breakfast with a spectacular view.

Cons: its not we didn’t like but it could have helped if there was a kettle and some complimentary water. It would have also been nice to have the option to have dinner in the hotel on our first day after a long trip but because of the celebrations the restaurant was booked and there was no room service available that night. If we had been pre warned we could have reserved a table.

Pros: Very good place. Breakfast was very nice. The center not too far, only 15 min walk. So we recommend this hotel.

Cons: Some may find it a long walk to Centre of Riva. However it only took us 20 minutes and if you go along the path by the shore of the lake it’s very scenic

Pros: The weather was good also at the end of September. The hotel was not crowded, so it was calm. The staff was polite and helpful. We could store our bikes easily in a special part of the garage (bicycle storage).

Cons: The blue light from the temperature control illuminated the bedroom at night, but we solved it.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Very good service. You definatly get more than what you pay for and I will be back

Pros: it is a really friendly place in one of the nicest areas in italie. 10 minutes walk from the lake and what we liked is that it is not on the main road near the lake, which means we don't have noise in our room. the hotel has a gorgeous view of the mountains and the clear air they suffice and the place is so wonderfully quiet one could meditate forever. breakfast is fine. a bit for anyone :) the staff was very nice, it is run by a family, they even do your laundry for a sensible price.

Cons: i was with my fiancee, we didn't appreciate having two mattrasses together rather than a double bed. also, the beds and pillows - not too comfy. i didn't like them using single use plastic cups in the bathrooms... this is supposed to be an ecological hotel. bothered me a bit.

Pros: Everything was neat tidy and well appointed. The bed was really comfortable. Loved the doonas. The staff were very friendly. We were able to park our car onsite. The pool looked so inviting although we didn't go in. We were among an orchard and the views to the huge mountains nearby were uninterupted. I would be happy to stay here again.

Cons: Although it was a little bit out of town it was so peaceful and quiet. The walk into town along the foreshore was sublime

Pros: Not much. See below. However, Riva del Garda is a fantastic destination to visit on the lake and will return again.

Cons: The 'Royal Savoy Palace' did little to promote impressions around the brand values of Royalty, The Savoy, and Palaces. Very disappointing and wonder how it has achieved a 4* rating. Would not stay here again - the price was ridiculous for what was provided. No views of Lake Garda, breakfast passable, rooms adequate, some staff members quite unfriendly and often grudgingly helpful. Big problem with broken glass overhead in various walking areas - when is it going to completely shatter? Dread to think of the consequences when it happens! Nothing to leave a great or even good impression that must come back here.

Pros: Everything was over expectation. A lot of facilities i didnt count with prestay. Felt luxious because of that.

Cons: I liked everything. Colorchoice and uppdates on the rooms (outdated) would have made it the best ever.

Cons: They took extra charges for the bathroom slippers and of course that was not a good thing. In every property its include in the package and yes i think there was no such need to get extra charged for those bathroom slippers ₹400 for two bathroom slippers like really? Disappointed!!

Pros: Excellent Hotel with large and comfortable bedrooms, and top of range bathroom. Hotel is clean and very well organised. Beautiful pool and generous poolside facilities. The hotel is in a quiet location with good walking access to the lakeside and old town. The hotel also has a large underground garage; which was very useful for our holiday. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Restaurant was very good, and served delicious food with wide ranging menu, good wine choices, and waiters were friendly and efficient. Overall the service was top notch and great value.

Cons: Nothing to report; everything was better than anticipated.

Pros: Exceptional service, beautiful garden, very nice and helpful staff. Location couldn't be better, just 5 min to Lake. Room view for mountain breath taking. Room quite big and bathroom as well. Evening free buffet pleasant. City bicycle for free in good working order. Just remember to book day before services like joga (for free).

Cons: I couldn't find iron and not much choice for breakfast but my companion doesn't complain.

Pros: Good location, a very pleasant 15 minute walk along the lakeside into the centre of town. Free bike hire from the hotel was good. Complimentary snacks early evening every day was a very nice added bonus.

Pros: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with any needs. Great variety for breakfast each morning and a small buffet of nibbles provided each evening. Overall hotel was very clean and was very impressed

Pros: - We liked the view from the room, since we got a room where we could see the mountains - The staff were great, always very nice and helpful (the cleaning ladies and breakfast staff were always greeting us with a smile; the guys at the reception were always there for us when we needed something) - The hotel is very close to the Pini beach (something like 5 minutes walk away) - All rooms have a balcony, which is quite nice -The breakfast area close to the pool surrounded by palm trees really made us get in the holiday mood -They offer free city bikes (mountain bikes can be rented for 15 eur per day)

Cons: - The room could use some additional items, such as: a mini fridge/an electric kettle for coffee and tea - The colors chosen to paint the room were a bit odd which don't exactly give it a modern vibe - The rooms could use a bit of refurbishing - The pool is average (better suited for kids than for adults, but it's anyway good to have it)

Pros: This is a great location on the east end of town - lots of restaurants, easy access to the lake, nice borrow bicycles for around town. Breakfast buffet is delicious and dining in the terrace is lovely.

Cons: The lack of amenities in the room - no safe, no hot pot (was able to borrow one), plastic glasses instead of glass (ridiculous for the room price), a mini refrigerator would be a bonus as it was hot and would like to keep cool drinks, water in room. There was never a back up roll of toilet paper! The view from the balcony was great - that offset these bothersome short comings.

Pros: The view was amazing. The hotel is super modern and very clean, the breakfast offers all kind of items you can imagine. The service was outstanding and friendly. We had the best time of our vacation.

Cons: We missed cold showers in the spa area.

Pros: Nice room with the view over the mountains, friendly staff, great breakfast with a selection of fresh juices and crepes.

Cons: There was no garbage can in the room, only a small one in the shower. We stayed in room 155 and the noise of the parking gate bothered us all night!!!
