Pros: It's a charming guest house, with so many thoughtful amenities. We loved the guest lounge, which is a beautiful and cozy little cottage adjoining the guest house. Allison and Paul keep the lounge open all day and night for their guests, and this is where a superb continental breakfast was served, along with an egg casserole dish and baked goods, all made fresh each day. Our room had it's own fireplace, and there was a fire-pit in the outside garden. A truly romantic setting, in a guest house which is clearly a labor of love by Allison and Paul.

Pros: Fantastic location. Right in the heart of the action. Exquisite property - simply beautiful. Scrumptious breakfasts and snacks - like a gourmet chef & baker were on staff. Hosts were friendly and helpful - like family, only better. Simply one of the best places I have ever stayed. Not a detail was missed. There are not enough good words to explain how perfect this place is.

Pros: - Room was clean. - Fireplace was really nice. - Cleaning ans cooking staff are very friendly.
Cons: - Breakfast was basic and uninspired. - “Valet” style parking is understandable because of the lack of parking space but is a pain to have to bother the staff every time you need your keys to go get something in the car. Also, $14 per night in addition to the price of the room is ridiculous. - Owner is not the most welcoming host.

Cons: I was very surprised this time they charged for parking. Ptown is very expensive and there is no need for that extra charge especially when it is tandem parking. That should be an included cost at best. It really bothered me as much as every Inn charges. The coffee needs to be improved and out earlier, or have a machine with access.

Pros: The service was absolutely lovely. They even booked us their favourite table at a restaurant right by the piano, and we had a brilliant night because of it. The Jacuzzi is also an added bonus! Would love to go back, we thoroughly recommend it.
Cons:

Pros: The hot tub was a very nice aspect of this property. Wifi worked well.
Cons: The room was pretty small with an odd decoration style. It had one wall with a giant mirror and seemed like an odd 'clubby' decor choice for this style home. The room was also very cold... while the rest of the house seemed warm. There was also an absence of staff for questions or help most of the time, other than at check-in and in the morning for a lackluster breakfast. The house was nice in the kitchen, living area, and backyard hot tub area, but otherwise, the room was a place you'd prefer to spend NO time at all.

Pros: What was not to like! Exceptional! I would highly recommend the Beaconlight Guest House to anyone!!! 5⭐️
Cons:
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great staff. The hotel was so chilled and relaxed with great decor.
Cons:
The BeaconLight Guest House is centrally located in Provincetown, a 4-minute walk from Art House and 6 minutes by foot from Provincetown Town Hall. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.

Pros: Location is great, and the view was breathtaking!! The marine design of the room was incredible, we loved it! So aerial and with lots of windows and sun! It is great to wake up in the morning and listen to the waves, and then go to the balcony with a morning coffee to look at the ocean ❤️ We spent our wedding anniversary there, and it was a perfect place for such an event! Absolutely stunning! There is a possibility of late check-in, they just leave you keys in the post box. The bath was large, and the water power was good. The room was equipped with an iron and a board, a fridge, a hair dryer, a baggage holder and a large storage place. Everything was impressively clean. There was drinking water in the room, and some more downstairs as well. Everything you might need for even a longer stay.

Pros: The room was very cute, clean, and sunny for being on the first floor. The cool temperature was well maintained with a quiet av unit.
Cons: Upon arriving there was no one to check in with until past the check in time. When we were given our room there was no "welcome package" that gave us the Wifi password or any information about the hotel. We had to find he manager (who was dofficult to find most times) and ask for things as simple as a tv remote.

Cons: Breakfast was really poor. For such money paid for your room, you will find just granola, corn flakes, milk, bagels, yoghurts, some fruits, orange juice and very bad coffee, that’s it. Breakfast did not look presentable at all, the kitchenette was messy, so that we had to call staff to be able to find food, cutlery and plates. Granola is served in a disposable paper cup because they don’t provide deep plates for it

Pros: Mr. Masters was an excellent house. His B&B is beautiful. The moment I arrived, I knew I would be safe and well taken care of. The staff were also very accommodating and congenial.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a small coffee machine and a small refrigerator in the room. Some rooms had a small refrigerator but perhaps that is only for 2+ people in the room. However, I understand that with an old home fear of fire is a concern.

Pros:
Cons: Made reservation using your website online. When I arrived at the hotel less than 26 minutes after the reservation was made., the hotel desk staff Jen, told me she did not have the reservation and to wait a moment. We sat in a very pleasant Lobby had a cup of complementary coffee and waited, less than a few moments later, Jen said here's the reservation but you've made it for Sunday night not for tonight Saturday. I told her we would not be here Sunday night and did not know how that had to happen. She said we could have the room for the night but it was twice the price of what was booked online. It was unaffordable for me and I asked if it would be possible to just cancel the reservation, as it was an obvious error and the reservation had just been made. She was very nice and told me I would need to call kayak and she would take care of it on our end. We thanked her left and found other accommodations. On Monday I saw there was a charge to my credit card account from Colony cape inn, when I called the hotel on Monday and spoke to Mis Sheila she told me there would be no refund and was very rude and almost hostile. I explained exactly what it happened with making the reservation what the mistake was all the circumstances. She said there would be no refund of my deposit and she would have the general manager call me. He did a short time later his name was Steve and he was equally as rude and hostile. he told me several times that I needed to be more careful when making reservations and that this whole affair was my fault therefore the hotel should incur no cost. When I said we had hardly prevented them from RI renting the room as it had been such a short. Of time between the reservation and the cancellation, he told me that hotel had incurred a significant expense just using my credit card and now having to refund the deposit. I told him I would pay that amount and ask how much it was, all he would say was it was a significant amount. He ended the conversation by telling me I may have to wait up to 7 days for the refund. I was not expecting any refund but remarkably on Wednesday the money had been refunded. I don't know how the reservation mistake happened but it was a very upsetting experience and sure took a lot of time and aggravation to straighten out

Cons: One night a dog in the room next to mine barked for a couple of hours after 10:00, it's owner obviously out. I wish they would separate the dogs and their owners in another building. I value a quiet place to sleep when I'm on a trip.

Pros: This property was pretty much exactly what I expected from the description and reviews -- a perfectly nice and acceptable beach town motel. I picked it for two reasons, the location and that it had parking when I knew we'd have a car (Ptown parking=horrible). We liked having a 15-20 minute walk to the center of town, we feel less guilty having an ice cream ;) and it is also a little quieter. We never made it down for breakfast, but it was offered, and everyone we encountered behind the desk was pleasant and helpful. The bed was a wee bit soft but overall comfortable for 3 nights.

Cons: This isn't really what I didn't like, more just "it is what it is"........It is probably the same at 90% of properties in Ptown. We were on the second floor of a three storey wooden building, you could hear just about every footstep above you or along the outside hallway, especially people dragging luggage or clomping up the stairs. You can't really avoid this, just be aware. Also, this is a beach town, close to salt water, virtually everything metal will start to corrode or show "signs" of the salt air in less than a year, that's just the way it is. Our bathroom must have been fairly recently updated as it showed very little signs, nothing fancy but well kept. Little tip: There are two buildings, the one in the picture that is literally on the beach, and the one across the street. I believe all rooms are about the same, but clearly the ones in the beach building are the more "premium". The building across the street (where we ended up) has two sides of rooms, facing the back parking lot or facing the street and beachfront building (they call this "courtyard view"). I won't say one is better than the other, it depends on what you want, but just be aware when you select.

Pros: Staff went above and beyond.
Cons: Only downside was the pool was cool as heater was turned off for several days due to rainy weather (It was early October but advertised as heated pool through 10/14)
4.0 Okay
Pros: location
Cons: Did not say in description of hotel that animals were allowed. After 10 minutes in room allergies kicked in. Had no choice but to stay night. Next day was told that all rooms allowed animals. Beware that in Ptown animals are more important than people

Pros: The second and third rooms (31D and 31E) we occupied were very nice, with great views, and comfortable. A few suggestions for improvement: please place some hooks for winter coats: we had to throw our wet coats on the couch. Please also provide more outlets to charge up phone, laptop, etc.: we had to place the coffee maker on the floor by an outlet in a corner of the room to make coffee because the outlet - by the table where the coffee maker was - was not working. Also, provide each room with hairdryer (there was none in 31E). How about heating in the bathroom? It seems necessary since you are open all year. Also, in 31E, the bathroom window has not shade or curtain, and residents in adjacent houses could, in theory, have a view.

Cons: We had to be moved to two different rooms (31D for one night and 31E for the following two nights) since the room we originally booked (41G) didn't have internet. Room quality within this property varies a lot, and this doesn't seem fair to guests. The first room we were in (41G) barely reached the quality of a cheap motel: the bathroom was tiny and moldy, the fan made a very loud noise, everything looked old and in disrepair, and there was no wi-fi!

Pros: The views from our waterfront room were spectacular. It felt as if we were staying on a boat surrounded by water.
The room was very cute.
The outdoor area was gorgeous and very enjoyable.
Cons: Like lots of places in Ptown the walls are paper thin. You can hear the other guests as if they are in your room.
The water pressure in the bathroom was so low that it was nearly impossible to rinse off when showering.
I would stay here again if it was in one of the separate cottages and not in a room.

Cons: Wifi disconnected too often to be useful. Mattress was too soft, so that laying on the bed, one's head slightly lower than feet. Patio area could have looked better, but it was very functional.

Pros: I enjoy the murals and the coziness that the Inn offers. I consider an inn/museum combo, and the friendliness of the staff is genuine........and then, there's the location...awesome!
Cons: The Provincetown Inn is a throwback inn from long ago. Furnishings are somewhat dated. That being said, the friendly and courteous staff more than make up it.

Cons: Dirty. Old. Restaurant/bar closed. Calls to front desk not answered on multiple attempts on multiple days. "Resort fee" includes internet that is slow/unreliable; parking in a huge, unsecured, unmonitored parking lot; see shuttle info above. STAY AWAY!

Pros: The location is perfect, plus the bus goes by every half hour for $2 per person so you can avoid driving and paying for parking. The pool is fun and the beach is right across the street.
Cons: I found the hotel to be loud and not very clean. My toilet did not work right away and after my second phone call, someone was sent to fix it. He stated it needed a new part, but since we were only there for two days, he said to jiggle the handle.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The view was amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful!
Cons: Our only complaint was that the floors were dirty. They were vacuumed and not sandy or anything but if you didn't wear shoes they turned your white socks black or your feet got filthy.
6.0 Good
Pros: Beds were nice. Fire pits and location were very good.
Cons: It appears that there may be people living in some of the rooms. The bathrooms are dated. Breakfast was unstaffed, overpriced and options limited. Front Desk not very friendly.

Pros: Easy to find. Great view of the ocean.
Cons:
4.8 Okay
Pros:
Cons: This was my second time at the harbor Hotel. This time seemed a bit more rocky. There was never more than one person at the check in desk durning peak check in and checkout 11am and 3/4pm. Long lines. I do want to say that Cassie at the front desk was wonderful, but could have used a second person.
Our first night no one cleaned the room or restocked the towels, which was disappointing.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The free shuttle to/from Provincetown from the hotel was fantastic. Definitely the best thing about this hotel.
Cons: No restaurant, even though it was advertised.
4.2 Okay
Pros:
Cons: The AC was not.working properly. The shuttle service was unorganized and so was the bike rental process. The staff was not friendly and welcoming.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Not much
Cons: It’s just not up to our standard. I work for Hilton hotels so I’m use to more high end hotels. We only stayed at hotel bc it was close to my aunts house and she didn’t have room for us to stay.
