Pros: As we arrived to the hotel, the person at the reception saw we were struggling with the luggages and opening the door at the same time ( the taxi did not left us at the door of the hotel, but that's another story). The reception wall is made of glass, so when you are a 4 star hotel receptionist and see a man with grey hair, you at least jump out of the seat, not just make hand gesture and shout that the door is open. The advantage of this hotel is the location - old town, surrounded by beautiful architecture, restaurant and shopping experience, it is also tastefully designed. The rooms are rather tiny, but I assume that it's something common for hotels in the area. If you were planning to use the pool, please take into consideration that it's for 1 max 2 people (size wise). We paid for BB option it's by far not the best breakfast, very limited. Either eggs your way or croissant, the free buffet included just 2 types of fruits (chopped), we have ordered scrambled eggs for both of us and repeated 1 for each, 2 in total, they brought just one and I had to go back and ask for second one. Place was not busy. There where several types of tea (bags, one brand), I had the red one, it wasn't good. Coffee was average. As another guest mentioned, the hotel is rather soulless, not much communication between staff and guests. Although the room offers a coffee machine, there were no capsules, I asked the reception for some and I received 2 !!

Cons: Second day after the room was cleaned (lovely cleaning lady), no coffee capsules were in the room, I called the reception again and a rather angry lady ( assume also from cleaning service) brought us 4 coffee capsules and told me off that I left the please make the room sign outside the door ( I wasn't aware I did that). She could have asked nicely if we need for the room to be done or not. Apart from that the hotel was clean, but I did was welcomed by urine smell around the elevator (maybe my sensitive smell), that is quite common on streets of Old City Mallorca. Check-out experience was poor. Staff is lacking training surely.

Cons: The rooms aren't soundproof, you can hear the people on the hallway and your neighbours talking, slamming the doors etc. Also, the economy room is depressing, dark, with a very little opaque window facing the interior part of the building, which can't be opened. Overall, the room was to expensive for what it offers.

Very claustrophobic as small and dark. Not a room you would spend much time in. Pillows were awful, lumpy and too soft with very little filling. Managed to upgrade to a front view room at €30 extra per night. Much better and more spacious. Pillows still awful and smoke from others rooms came through the air conditioning vent into our room. Despite it being a non smoking hotel.

Pros: Service was subtle and always helpful. Anything u needed was provided for on request with a friendly home like feeling. You truly felt looked after and that gave you a real sense of security and stability when exploring a new city. I was sad to leave. Seamless and painless luxury throughout. For example I discovered as I left that the kitchen and other rooms which I had previously thought were a museum, were actually functional and we as guests were encouraged to use them as our own home, making coffee and tea and inviting guests to join us. It’s like the most high end youth hostel you can imagine. Thanks so much to the staff and the amazing decor.

For a girls long weekend absolutely perfect as we stayed in the spacious 4 bed room and didn‘t feel like we were on top of eachother at all. We enjoyed sipping a Cava every evening in front of the hotel before we headed out for dinner, very atmospheric and recommendable. It‘s a short enjoyable walk to so many beautiful areas of Palma, perfectly located. The breakfast buffet was included in the room rate and was delicious. We would definitely come back! Cons: The triple room was not very updated and the outlook of it felt like from the 80’s. In my opinion the pictures show a very modern and bright room but actually the room was dark and old with no ceiling light even. During check in they informed that in the room there was an safety box as expected but actually they sold us a room that there was not even a door in the safety box. We called to reception and I asked many times how can you sell a room with a safety box that there is no door, I didn’t get any apology they just said not all of the rooms have received new ones, well then you shouldn’t sell those rooms. We wanted to change room and got another that was even worse and darker room. Once again the safety box didn’t work but this time it was at least with a door. We were tired to bring out the issue again to the reception as they didn’t have any triple rooms left anymore. No compensation of this inconvenience with changing the room, nothing. I work myself in a 5-star hotel and I am quite overwhelmed about the service and how can you sell rooms that doesn’t fulfill the given information when booking.

And it was possible to leave the luggage in a locker room after check-out. The hostel is located in the quiet area, not far away from the center. But keep in mind that Mallorca is a city where you need to walk a lot anyway. There is a bus stop nearby the hostel. Use bus #1 to get to and from the airport. It takes about 20 minutes to get there.

Cons: Bathroom in the room has a glass slide door which cannot be fully closed (1cm). Everyday cleaning was really basic, mirror and glass door were not wiped (bedsheets and towels were really clean). We had to ask for hand soap, received only 1 small soap that lasted 2 days. No kettle in the room with tea and coffee.

Cons: This was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Sawing, drilling & hammering from 9am til 3pm. At 1st they said there was noting they could do about construction next door, then I said to move me to a room away from it. They moved me up 5 floors which helped a little but I'll never stay there again. The 2nd morning it sounded like housekeeping was moving furniture.

Cons: The announced roof-top sun terrace was not available, and we missed a place like that or a little pool for relaxation, as the weather was very hot, and we did not want to go to the beach every day. For our taste the walls in the hotel rooms are very bare. It is of course the choice of the hotel, but one consideration could be investing in some nice posters or reproductions.

Cons: I was expecting to find a bathrobe in the room, but they don't provide it unfortunately. I also had a feeling that bar staff at swimming pool area has no idea what they were doing. Cocktails were below average. One of the bar staff members also asked us to change our seats, because "my friends will eat here". My guess is that he meant that it was reserved by other guests, as there was some language barrier, but still, you expect nicer approach when you are paying for your stay.

The staff were all very happy, helpful and pleasant. We were very grateful for our late check out!
Cons: The revamped rooms are ok but not very well designed, you can still see parts of the old decor and fittings, the kettle is very difficult to get to and the frosted glass partition between the WC and the sink leaves little room. There is a curtain between the bathroom and bedroom covering the full size glass 'wall' if you are staying in a room with friends or prefer privacy in the bathroom. Closing the pool terrace bar at 6.00pm at this time of year (end August) seems to be a mistake, the pool terrace is a lovely place to sit overlooking the boats and sea and we watched many people coming out for pre dinner drinks and turning away. There is a bar downstairs but has no atmosphere or view at all. We still do not like all the mirrors and thin metal display features on the entrance floor/reception, they are most distracting, it was nicer down there before the revamp! Perhaps if they concentrate more on guests than company functions and conferences and move the breakfast room back upstairs onto the pool terrace and keep the terrace bar open a little later in the evening ........

The floors have an overall dirty look to them, we found hairs on our bathroom floor (right after check-in) and the paint peels of the walls in some spots in the room. The pool was (ridiculously) small, the ladder was unhinged and the pool was filled with hairs and small flies...

Pros: breakfast at the hotel was amazing. its a little bit out of the centre but its easily walkable in about 15 minutes. Staff were great and very helpful
Cons: We had 1 single room and 1 double room, the single room was a little small but was fine for one night. Beds could be a little more comfortable.

Cons: Some of the facilities lacked the quality that the rest of the hotel had, ie the bar was a tad underwhelming/non existent, minibar not stocked and the coffee was awful!

Cons: We had a member of staff who knocked at the door late At night on our first night and walked in. They walked back out when seeing us. This also happened again the next day early on in the morning. We found this very odd. Swimming pool smaller than photos.

Cons: There weren't much facilities in the hotel. just the bar area with the closed in garden. no swimming pool. no spa or any similar facilities. There was a problem with the AC, which I concluded later on that this is an occurring issues in some rooms!

Cons: Although I have nothing to complain about the accomodation, I would probably not choose it again for the simple reason that you don’t need to pay so much just for a room to sleep in. We were exploring the city during the day, ate out and only really came to the hotel to rest. We also checked out the gym and it wasn’t really inviting, all the machines where covered.

Pros: The hotel is located at the best place of Palma. Very close and accessible to the promenade (the sea and port of Palma, the historic places, excellent restaurants, Aqualand, Marinland, wonderful beaches, outlet center). We found this place very attractive. The public transportation is great as well, we used line number 3 to many places since we were 6 and it’s hard to find big taxis. The hotel is perfect; two pools one indoor and outdoor as well. Very clean and in a perfect condition. We got a big suite with two rooms and two bedrooms with a private access from the balcony to the outdoor pool. The breakfast is very nice and the menue is different every morning- two new coffee machines , very astatic and delicious. The gym is great . The staff are polite, nice, speak English, helpful with advices of the attractions and accessibility. We had a great time in Palma!

Cons: We came with a baby and we needed hot water for his bottle. There’s no boiler on the room so you need to go down to the reception. On the other hand they apologized and explained that guests used to ruin the boilers. We understood them.

Cons: Sadly the sauna and steam room weren’t heated, maybe if we’d asked they would have been turned on, but it wasn’t a problem. The air conditioning in our kids room wasn’t quite working efficiently enough, it was ok, but I’m sure again if I’d asked something would have been done about it.
