Got upgraded to a double queen room and the size of the room is amazing by NY standards! You get one free item (non-alcoholic) per day from the mini bar which they include as part of the mandatory resort fee.
Bathroom is a bit small and water takes a long time to heat up - it also doesn’t get hot enough.
Ok but during renovations dont go
Bed was comfortable, asetics good, fresh carafes of water delivered to your room on request. Check in was easy, good location to flat iron/ madison square garden, subways, coffee shops on every corner.
No tea and coffee facilities in room. Only available between 6-9am in foyer. I wasn't able to get a cup of hot water for a tea bag after 9am. I came down with a cold and spent two days in bed hence needing hot water. No in house catering/ restaurant so no breakfast option or room service. I knew this when I booked, just incovient when you are sick. Due to alot of construction in the area, ALOT of dust and debris in area. Room 248, very noisy due to construction, and nearby rooms you can hear the guests and loud doors being shut all hours of the night.
