Miami Beach hotels near Art Deco Museum

Pros: Perfect location! Walking distance from all of the fun!

Cons: Nothing. It's great.

Pros: The rooftop was great, though I would struggle to call the pool a proper pool - more of stand-up in and mooch kinda pool. Proximity to everything. There are so many nearby eateries that you are spoilt for choice (recommend the 11th street diner for breakfast). When I did eat at the hotel, the options were good and reasonably priced - Naked Tacos are good. Staff was in general very pleasant.

Cons: Waiting 20 mins to check in when I got there. Not having my room cleaned one day until nearly 5 pm - too late. Lighting in the bathrooms/ bedrooms - so bad, the worst of any hotel I have EVER stayed in. You literally couldn't do your make-up or see yourself properly - generally, the bathrooms are just badly designed. Noise - the rooms are noisy - little soundproofing and the hotel did little if nothing to ask people to keep the noise down. This is included people playing their own music by the pool. Non-alcoholic drinks are very overpriced and depending on who was on the bar determined how well they were made.

Cons: My bag was delayed and delivered at the hotel before I checked out but no one had called me to notify that they received my laggage. That was so weird and not good experience at all

Pros: It was ok. Rooms were a lot smaller than they seemed in the photos. Basically our room was a studio apartment. Service was a little slow, often room service wouldn't get to our room until right before dinner, but service in South Beach is slow everywhere. Really the biggest issue was the noise. Next door there is what looks from the outside to be a club and doesn't seem that loud, but the bass and music from it carries into the building and is really really really loud. I sleep like a rock and couldn't get to bed until last call two of our four nights. Maybe it's just a South Beach thing and is unavoidable, but this hotel is alot of money to not be able to sleep soundly through the night. You really can't beat the location though, and the roof pool was also great.

Cons: Rooms way too small, impossible to fit 2 people and their bags, bathroom ridiculously small and total absence of closets and or sitting space. Not possible to open windows. No lobby of any kind, impossible to find a seat or lounge area

Cons: I thought it was just across the street from the beach, which is what the photos made it seem but it was a block in from the water, which you can't even see except from the roof top

Cons: For some reason unable to get room lights to a bright level to see - I guess it’s part of the ambience . The pool area is very worn , but still pretty. Felt sketchy in the elevator at times - is the door going to open ?

Pros: The proximity to ocean drive and the beach was great. The doorman was super friendly and helpful. It was beneficial to be able to park our car at the local parking station for $20 for 24 hours. The beach lounge chairs included in our room was a bonus.

Cons: Our room was in the building which is closer to ocean drive and basically above the News Cafe which is open 24 hours and plays music accordingly all night. The building is well insulated but we could still hear the music. If you are a light sleeper this may be an issue. We did note that earplugs were supplied in the room.

Pros: The staff were wonderful. They were respectful, patient, courteous and helpful.

Cons: The elevator wait was sometimes extensive.

Pros: Great hotel on South Beach. Staff on arrival were very friendly and helped us out. The hotel itself if great and the happy hour drinks are a nice touch. We ate in the hotel every evening. Pool area is excellent and staff extremely friendly. We will stay here again next year 100%! One of the best hotels I've stayed in

Cons: Didn't have any rooms ready at 3:00 PM, Extremely noisy in our 1st room and 2nd room between the air lock in the water pipe, street noise, and an elevator that echoed through the AC vent. Worst room we have ever stayed in anywhere.

Pros: Location is just amazing, 1 min from Ocean drive, a couple of minutes from the beach, im the middle of shopping and restaurants areas. The room was lovely and clean. The staff friendly and helpful;)

Cons: On the first night I got a room that had frosted windows, was facing back of the hotel and it was very noisy in there. However, the next day I asked and got moved to a lovely room on the second floor.

Pros: Great location, friendly faces, happy hour from 5 till 8 at the patio outside/lounge area. Valet parking for $39 or park yourself in the garage for $18. Beach beds and towels complimentary. The Kingsize rooms are facing Ocean drive/beach, the Queensize rooms are not (Collins Ave).

Pros: Room design art deco very attractive. Food simple but good and reasonably priced. Happy hours available. Roof top pool area very good.

Cons: Room a little noisy position just below roof terrace bar.

Pros: The location was good, near to the beach, shops and night life. The room was spacious with a decent en suite. The staff were friendly and happy to answer questions or queries. There is a free safe in the room too which was good for storing valuables.

Cons: Our room was a little noisy due to the aircon units on the opposite building close by and a outlet fan on the roof just below us. The breakfast was basic but was okay. Could have had a few more items such as beans and bacon.

Cons: It was too small for a family. The bathroom was also very small and in general the room wasn't clean. The breakfast was fair but poor and it was the same all the days.

Cons: My only complaint is the noise. The doors, walls, and windows are all thin, which makes it difficult to sleep.

Pros: Wasn’t happy with the bathroom door. Was a frosted glass where you can see body outline. Okay if it’s just you and your spouse. We ask if they had rooms with a wooden door. All they had was handy cap rooms, so we took that. Only thing, the showers were made where there was only a small lip on the floor (about 1/2 inch or less), and the shower curtain was about 6 inches from the floor. The staff was very helpful and brought in another shower curtain and rod to make an adjustment so the shower curtain would touch the floor, thus keeping water from running out into the floor in the bathroom.

Cons: If you book an ocean view room or suite be prepared for the extremely loud music from the restaurants below the hotel. The noise from Ocean Drive itself is okay; however, when you have two restaurants both playing very loud music, there's nowhere to escape. It's also very strange that the restaurant at the front of the hotel is not part of the hotel - so you can't charge anything to your room!

Pros: The hotel is located exactly where I wanted to be, in the heart of the Art Deco Historic District. It was very convenient to the free shuttle around South Beach.

Cons: I can easily forgive the fact that the single elevator is tiny (4 people), slow, and is also used for service. That goes along with the historic nature of the building. But the schlocky restaurant is under different management, is touristy, overpriced, and opens for breakfast only at 9 (to 11). Normally that would be fine, but the last day I had to leave earlier, and had to miss breakfast. Also the buffet breakfast is boringly the same every single day, with no imagination. So, restaurant, thumbs down, hotel thumbs way up!

Cons: Everything there is over priced! If you're a white tourist they will over charge you to the highest! The 2 restaurants located at the Breakwater are extremely over priced! Customer service is not a priority to them. Very unfriendly.

Pros: Customer service was off the chart, location on the strip was great. Room overlooking the beach and strip. The staff made everything happen👍

Pros: The room is clean and remodeled. Good facilities included chairs, towels, bottle of water and apple for the beach.

Cons: It is not an honest place! In my check-in, the attendant said that we had to do a $ 100 deposit for any expenses and this amount would be refunded during the check-out. Upon check out a new attendant first refused to repay. After half an hour, he said that could not repay my money because the manager was not at the hotel and if I wanted to be reimbursed I have to expect him (many hours later). We couldn’t wait more because we had an international flight. At the end, he created an fake expense with parking (we didn’t rent a car) to explain his conduct. I have all Uber receipts to prove. Unbelievable! I left the hotel without my deposit and almost lost the flight. The clerk was really rude. It was the worst experience I've ever had in the US. It is better to choose a hotel more correct in your posture.

Pros: The location was right in the middle of South Beach night life! That was great, but when we wanted to go to sleep - the band next door was no where near stopping! I wish we would have had more time to spend at the hotel though, because there were towels and chairs for the beach, and bikes that we could have used...but it was basically a sleeping place for us one night before we drove to Key West.

Cons: No Double (or even single) IPA's at the bar...for beer snobs, the variety was really lacking.

Pros: The hotel was nice an right next to the beach. The rooms were nice and clean. Traffic is pretty bad going in but once you park, walking wasn't too bad.

Cons: The only downfall to our room was that the walls were too thin. My boyfriend and I could not sleep. It was a Monday and the hotel across the street played music until 3AM. We didn't open our windows but it sounded like we did.

Pros: I liked that this was close to the beach. The room was clean and nice with a view of the pool.

Cons: I didn't like that the advertising lead me to believe this property was across the street from the beach and that I would see the beach from my room. Only the parent hotel was across the street from the beach. Also, the shower temperature control was by temperature and you barley had to turn it on to get hot water. You could have scalded yourself very easily. There was valet parking only and no attendant. We had to park two blocks away at a parking garage for $20.00 a night. We had to carry our luggage up and down stairs to get into the place as there was no ramp.

Pros: The staff were friendly and generous with tourist related recommendations when solicited. Also, this hotel was located in the heart of Miami Beach, and so we could walk to most of the places was wanted to go.

Cons: All of the hotels in Miami Beach are expensive, so although I thought $--- a night was a lot to pay, this rate was on par (or less) than many other hotels in the same area. Oh, and the continental breakfast was kinda "Meh." Not bad, but not anything great

Cons: It’s loud. And the room didn’t look like any of the pictures on booking.com. „Continental“ breakfast at the Clevelander was disappointing. In an Inn you‘ll get more variety to eat. For all kind of eggs you have to pay extra. I‘m used to get this as part of a Continental Breakfast.
