Pros: Best deal in Miami. Great staff, great pool, prime location. Broken Shaker is dope too.

Pros: The lobby and pool area are great. Friendly staff. I stayed in a women's quad and a woman's 8 bunk dorm. Both very clean and orderly. Could use some minor upgrades for the seating. Since it's so humid in Florida I would suggest mildew, resistant chairs. The ones they have now trap moisture and smell a little. This hostel is located directly across the street from the bus stop, beach and boardwalk which is an easy bike ride or walk down famous Collins Ave (hotel district). The hostel rents bikes - the first 2 hours are FREE). The free daily breakfast is excellent. Fresh fruit, pastries, assortment teas, cereal and oatmeal. More than enough to fill your belly and take some for the road. There is a restaurant on site but I didn't eat there. If your budget is tight and you need a decent friendly hostel near to everything (especially if you are on foot), stay here.

Pros: What I liked about this hotel was that it was smack dab in between Miami Beach and and South Beach so it was close to the boardwalk if you wanted to walk to to the beaches or walk up or down Collins Ave, and the other thing I liked was that it was value for your money, only a block away there is a supermarket store on 27 and Collins and they also sell cuban meals which was very good and cheap....,I also liked the fact that when we came home at night from partying in south beach it was tranquil and a place of solace knowing you wouldn't have to deal with any noise pollution.

Pros: Many things. There is a delightful verdant garden with an outdoor pool; many original Art Deco features, including the original cypress ceiling and the first working elevator in Miami Beach, and a most cordial and helpful staff.

Pros: Everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms look just as advertised. It is located in a quiet section and you don't have all the hustle and bustle of South Beach just a few blocks down. It is a nice quiet Hotel. They (the hotel staff) adored the fact I had my daughter with me. Not many kids there, but they treated my daughter like a princess! For the age of the hotel it is better than most of the newer hotels I have stayed at; it was very clean and the decor was very nice and mostly the bed was very comfortable. The site stated no breakfast, but the hotel has a continental breakfast every morning from 8 to 10 A.M. They have Brunch on the weekends from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. at the Creek 28 restaurant located inside the hotel, which we chose to have outside in the garden area. The Hotel also has a house cat named Dutchess, which is very friendly and my daughter loved her and made her feel at home, since we did not bring our cat with us on vacation. The pool area is nice and not crowded, nice for a morning swim before you head to the beach which is only a block away, or any other things you choose to do in the area. The parking passes from te hotel are great and can be used in surrounding areas, even at the 21st Street public beach access parking lot, beats using quarters! I highly recommend this hotel. We enjoyed it and felt like family there. I think it says alot when an 8 year old does not want to leave. :o)

Pros: Nice hotel, just off Collins Avenue and easy to get to the main parts of miami beach and south beach. Within walking distance, if you like a leisurely stroll, if not, there is a bus stop accross the street from the entrance and lots of cabs available throughout the day and night! Only one (although very large) bed in our room which was unusual for america, but all the same, quite comfortable, clean and more than adequate for all the time you actually spend in your room. The hotel's art deco restoration in the lobby was very well done. Lovely pool area and a block away from a really nice stretch of miami beach!

Pros: First stay in a hostel, which made me nervous but I really liked it. Had an awesome stay. Posh was sparkling clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and I met some really cool people while I stayed. Good wifi, free cocktails during happy hour downstairs, free beach towels, washer/dryer. Recommended.

Pros: What hostel has such modern interior and chic, clean pool? None! And it really is a block away from the beach!! I was worried about the co-ed dorm but people were respectful and no shady business occurred during my stay. Outside guests and parties are not allowed so that made it feel safe and not so rowdy which can be the downside of hostels at times. The staff was great, especially Monica, my Miami mommy! She was caring, friendly and helpful and respectful to even cranky, rude guests. Overall, - great hostel stay (not hotel stay so do not come with such expectations and complain!) Good crowd of people in their 20's-60's: majority in 20-30 range.

Within a mile of this location, you can fine the Miami City Ballet, the Museum of Ice Cream, and a park at 36th Street (about four blocks away).
