Pros: The localisation was great - so small distance to main market.

Cons: The staff dont know English. The welcome cocktails and sightseeing of the hotel with a concierge guy was scheduled but the reception didnt provide it! :( The breakfast was poor. There was no kettle in the room.

Pros: The Staff at reception and in the restaurant was excellent. Special thanks to Nathalia at reception.

Pros: Perfect location, 5 min walk to all directions. Rooms are specious and clean. Bathrooms are full with towels, no need to ask for extra. Staff is very helpful.

Cons: Breakfast need to improve, lounge is very small, there was no variety of options to choose. On weekends breakfast starts at 08.00am, we get there at 07.50 they made us wait in the hall, but staff could get their coffee but NOT US.

Cons: The breakfast choices seemed a bit less.. fewer fruit options. They used to come ask if tea or coffee was needed, now have to ask them for it. Omelette options are also not evident. So yes they should strive to get it back to what it was

Pros: Beautiful and elegant hotel in great location of central Lviv; most city center spots are walking distance. So, not too far and not too congested. The concierge staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was very clean with a large, cozy bed. Interesting lighting system in the room as it requires the card key to stay inserted in the control slot to activate the lights; obvious energy-saving method - so, that's cool. The breakfast buffet was operated by a polite and professional staff. There was a good selection of tasty food which included many traditional cuisine selections with a variety of beverages. Comfortable seating in the dining area.

Pros: Location of the Hotel is magnificent. You can go everywhere by walk not need to rent a car. The staff are very helpful and sempatic. You can feel you like home.

Pros: Central location (which also means some noise from the street). Hotel also provides ear plugs :). Decent-size room, warm, clean. Do pick larger room when booking for two people - our friend took a smaller one and it was way too small.

Cons: Soundproofing is very low. While windows compensate for noise from outside, thin doors do not cover any noise coming from the corridors. And cleaning personnel starts work at 7 in the morning. They are passing by, closing and opening doors and chat all morning long. Do not count on nice sleep in the morning

Pros: The hotel is very clean, good stuff, great location in the city centre. But little noisy inside - we heard every step of neighbours, stuff. But for that case there are earplugs in the room, that is quite sweet :)

Pros: Staff were excellent, panoramic restaurant on first night, food and drink very good value (had plenty of both) less than 25 euro, would of been 100 plus at home. Good location fine walking to old town (downhill) would suggest a taxi back, beautiful city lots of history, biggest street market I have ever seen well worth a visit, taxi to airport just 5 euro, will be back.

Pros: Breakfast was ok, but the restaurants inside the hotel look awful. They look like Location is very good. The hotel is quite old, only a few rooms/apartments are renovated.

Cons: Cleaning wasn't great. We were surprised that they are not cleaning everything every day, only changing towels and refreshing bed. For example we left dirty glasses and they were not cleaned or replaced.

Pros: Maids did a great job. They had brought me an iron and ironing board to my room almost immediately after I requested it. Room extremely clean

They advertise a panoramic room on the 9th floor but you cannot access it because is always booked for private parties. they use it to make the hotel more appealing so you book a room but when you get there it can be rented out by individuals and you cannot access it

Pros: Nothing at all. The crappiest hotel,rudest staff, and the worst food and service. I loved Ukraine,the culture, the architecture,everything but this hotel ruined everything for me. The worst hotel I've ever lived in.

Cons: Everything. The staff was very very very very RUDE. I arrived and asked how to get in,confused the heck out of me,didn't even send for someone to guide the way. The corridors are scary,with very very poor quality walls, you can hear all the noise, everything is very old, the bathtub,chairs and stains on them yuck!the second night I was staying, the towels we're blood stained. As for breakfast, normally when the time is up,the staff inform you that there won't be any food but you can finish slowly, but this god forsaken hotel kicked me out of the breakfast area, downright turned the lights off!how very rude!the food was already very mediocre. The hotel restaurant claims they take orders until 2am,I called and called at 1130pm and no answer! This hotel is a lie, pls be aware, it's nothing like the pictures,it's dirty,it's definitely a 2-3 star at best. This hotel is by far the crappiest hotel I've ever stayed in my entire life. The neighborhood is messed up too. They lie about the spa prices too! I completely advise against anyone to live here,not worth the money! Instead pay a little bit more and stay in grand hotel lviv or Astoria hotel. At least they won't lie to you! Some might argue why didn't I say all this while I was in Ukraine but alas!I had payed the money and I didn't want them to do give me any trouble,I was afraid of repercussions.

Pros: Hotel is located a walking distance from major tourist attractions and sights in a quiet neighborhood. Staff is professional and friendly. You will not experience any language barriers as long as you communicate in English.

Pros: Hotel is very great. Nice room, everything is clean. The breakfast is also great and delicious. The location is near city centre (20 minutes of slow walking) so is very easy to be reached. And because hotel is not directly in centre is very quiet and peaceful. Also great secured parking is provided. The spa is small, but big enough to relax after whole day in city. And is super they have limit of persons that can enter, so there is never crowd inside. The restaurant provides great delicious food and prices are ok.

Cons: It was my first visit to Ukraine and i must say personal is a disaster. Personal has a very big leak of good manners. They do not say hello when you are returning back to hotel (they just look at you and look back down), no smile, nothing. Also when you go to breakfast, they just say: "Your room number", without please, good morning or a smile. You really get a feeling they do not care if you are there or not. Also by arriving they just give you basic information and that is. You get a feeling (please just go to your room and leave us alone). Also one time when we were in restaurant, they confuse our order + they wanted to charge us something we did not order (i understand it can happened to anyone, maybe bad day, bad felling), but that you can not apologize, this is something i can not understand or accept. As this is 4 stars hotel such attitude is totally unacceptable. I travel a lot (specially in EU) and such attitude i did not experience nowhere. I would give evaluation 10 point, but because of the personal i unfortunately have to give 8.

Pros: Great parking, behind a gate which was very safe. Big room. We only stayed one night so didn’t get a chance to use the spa, but it seemed great. Very helpful and nice English speaking staff. Comfortable bed. Minibar is stocked.

Cons: I broke a glass in the bathroom for which I was charged 150UAH, the real cost would have been about 15UAH, I felt that they were deliberately penalising me excessively for a minor breakage. The lift is tiny and rather ancient!

Pros: Great staff. Very nice breakfast. Good location. A classically older hotel but would recommend if you ever get to Lviv. Wifi was also excellent.

Pros: Those historic walls of good old Hotel George speak. One imagines a long glorious past. It has not succumbed to fashion rehabilitation, remains genuine, nothing fancy nothing fashionable about it, the heavy room doors with big old keys and lock-my just an example. Nothing modern about Hotel George. The clock seems to have stopped clicking in it many years ago. The restaurant is excellent.

Cons: No bar in the hotel. The check-in desk more like an old railway station ticket window. But all the staff are most agreable and helpful.

Pros: Interesting to stay in a character building where you can get a bit of a feel for the history. Lots of tripping hazards in the form of 3 inch lips at the front entrance and throughout the building. The carpets needed replacing badly. You could see and feel the rough, broken tiles that the carpeting was sloppily placed over. The front staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Pros: Rooms were clean and shared bathrooms were maintained every half hour. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic. Lots of old school charm to this hotel, with sweeping stairs and high ceilings. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: We’d stayed here before and like the location and the history of the building. Nice bedroom, comfy mattress. Staff were friendly and helpful. We took the option of a very early checkin at half the daily rate, which, with breakfast included, was a good deal as our train arrived at 7am.

Pros: The hotel is within the historic centre of Lviv, and comfortable; some may find it old-fashioned, but I thought it was a pleasant change from the concrete and glass variety. The staff were all very helpful, and had arranged a transfer from the railway station (some way out of the centre). Owing to transport difficulties in Germany, I had to rebook my stay twice, and the staff were very helpful and understanding about this.

Cons: We didn't mind to have a shared bathroom with the economy twin room option. However, wc and shower room are completely outdated and need urgently new and prettier tiles. also cleanliness lacked a bit in these facilities.
