Wall paper pelling off walls
Excellent location - very reasonably priced - not luxurious but clean and comfortable.
Nothing worth mentioning.
Excellent Bed, Tv, bathroom
Shower poor, extractor fan in toilet not working. Poor breakfast
Very nice staff, good breakfast, rooms were clean and at good location.
there was some noise from other rooms (thin walls), and some noise from the rebuilding of the hotel.
The actual hotel looked fine foyer basic but clean check in took a little time as the receptionist took a phonecall dduring our check in. unfortunately we did not get to see the rooms as we were put in an annex across the road.
The annex had scaffolding up outside upon entry to the hall way we were met with bags of debris from building works (later removed ) laundry (which remained) and an overflowing bin which was not emptied during our stay.Bathroom very small and curtains remained drawn as the view was dreadful.
Close to the city and rail link to Heathrow Airport.
Bathroom to small. No lift to most floors. Musty smell as you enter room.
Very well positioned; good value for money.
Some rooms are in the basement, but the price is the same.
Location to paddingto station was great
price, staff, room all very poor; would expect to have paid half of this amount for this sort of room
small room but clean and comfortable
poor breakfast fayre
I am very often going to UK and London and know what you may expect. I stayed already in the same area, same category but this hotel is my favorite and I will stay there the next time again. Most important point: it does already welcome anyone if you walk down the street toward the hotel, the room, but overall the carpet is clean, the bath room is very nice and there is a real shower cabine with a class door and the shower itself works perfect. Something you very often miss at any other hotel, even 5 star. And finaly there is a 1 min. walk to Paddington tube and underground station as well as 3 min. to walk to Hyde Park (ideal if you'd like to jogg). Direct line to Kings Cross and Waterloo (15min. by underground) makes it perfect to any business traveller.
Breakfast stops at 8.45, even on Sat/Sun (09:30/10:00 should be Standard). I asked to change my invoice but they have not been willing to do so. So - bit more Flexibility would be nice.
