Royal Tulip Brasilia Alvorada - Brasilia - Building
1
9.2 Excellent (7,049 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Royal Tulip Brasilia Alvorada in Brasilia, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Itamaraty Palace and National Congress of Brazil. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked very much this hotel: wide, modern, a resort with a beautiful view of the lake. The staff is very helpful and they serve a great breakfast. I recommend Royal Tulip!
Cons: Some rooms are waiting for reform and has carpet and not the better conditioning air, even if the view was awesome. I think soon all will be fine.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is beautiful, with a view that overlooks the lake nearly as if it were the ocean. The entryway staff were always willing to go out of their way to assist where needed (carrying bags or collecting the car etc). If you are staying in a honeymoon suite, remember the robes are complimentary (they don't actively advertise this).
Cons: Breakfast food was fine, with plenty of savoury and sweet options for all tastes, but the juices were terrible - the watermelon was the only consistently "okay" one. Lunch option was expensive, as well as the bar options by the pool. It's also a bit inconvenient to get to unless you have access to a car (there is very limited "free" parking inside the gates, and then an outdoors and an underground carpark which is paid).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was out of this world ..
Brasilia Palace Hotel - Brasilia - Building
2
9.1 Excellent (3,211 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Brasilia Palace Hotel in Brasilia (Smin), you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Itamaraty Palace and National Congress of Brazil. Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: James Bond Feeling - you feel in a time capsule, but well maintained and excellent service
9.2 Excellent
Pros: An iconic hotel in Brasilia - very stylish with wonderful artefacts dotted around the hotel. The pool was a lovely place to cool down at the end of a very hot afternoon - the Oscar Restaurant for breakfast was great, but for dinner even better; the menu and excellent wine list made for 2 very enjoyable dinners. The staff were very helpful too.
Cons: Person choice obviously, but the bed was a little hard for us, the minibar could have had a greater range, plus it should have been restocked daily.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great historical vibe. I was born in Brasilia but have moved years ago. I loved the experience of staying where the founders of the city once resided. Very unique experience. You can take a selfie with a Peacock that just hangs out in the front lawn! We didn't wanna leave!
Cons: My only concern was that the toilet seemed very slow and the carpet and shower box had some signs of being worn out. Maybe it's because we stayed in the cheaper standard rooms. May need a light upgrade soon.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing room, excellently cleaned, suberb shower, very friendly and professional staff(a few of them English speaking), massive variety of breakfast!
Cons: The only con I could mention among an otherwise excellent stay is that there was some noise from th shower of the neighboring room, even though the sound proof was generally very good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was marvelous.
Cons: Missing tissue paper in the room
4.2 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was Ok. Location is fine - close to a shopping mall.
Cons: the reception staff was unpleasant to deal with. we came late after flying from Sau-Paolo, although we reserved 3 senior executive rooms they gave us one room in the first floor (the hotel has 16 floors) after argument they gave me another bad room, and only after another argument another room was discovered in the 13th floor (but not senior exe.). I really hate the fact I had to beg for change of 2 rooms at midnight.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, good location, friendly staff..
7.1 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Supposed to be 5 star but fell well short of 5 star hotels elsewhere in the world.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: extremely clean and comfortable room; great breakfast, with plenty of options; friendly and helpful staff; centrally located.
Cons: the restaurant isn't quite what it used to be for dinner... sadly, I would now rate it as overpriced for the quality of the meals they're delivering.

Cons: It was all a bit 'small', especially in the public areas.

Meliá Brasil 21 - Brasilia - Bedroom
5
9.0 Excellent (4,078 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The well-defined lines in Brasilia give a contemporary air to the city designed by Lúcio Costa in the late 1950s. This modernity extends to the Melia Brasil 21. In the southern district of the Federal Capital, next to the Eixo Monumental, the hotel and its rooms are the perfect expression of the concept of “bleisure”; a combination of business and leisure. Exclusive services which come together to create a unique accommodation experience.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very clean and tidy.
Cons: Overall, the staff needs to be better trained. It’s no good to be warm and have no good manners. For example, the room service staff who came to the room to deliver food was not polite. He would not say excuse himself to come in, would not ask me if everything was alright and if I needed any further help. He simply walked in and “dumped” the tray of food and left, without saying a word, not even boa note and enjoy your meal. Then we arrived at the restaurant for our breakfast and instead of being greeted and welcomed by the attendant, she simply said “room number?” wrote something down and left. No attempt to show us to our table or to explain to us how their breakfast worked. Nothing, not even a smile to say enjoy your breakfast... The reception person was argumentative when I pointed out that there was a mistake with my reservation. So they were warm people but not profissional. The Melia brand is an international brand. They need to step up there game to keep their reputation in Brazil in line with the rest of the world.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is well located and our room had a close view of the TV tower on the Monumental street. Staff were helpful and there were some good restaurants nearby.
Cons: The hotel is part of a much bigger Meliá Brasil 21 development and finding the hotel is a search, as it is behind two other hotels, one is Suite hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Old fecilities
4.0 Okay
Pros: We had free wi-fi. The continental breakfast was great. Well located for us--next to a large park and a mall (since we forgot our converter).
Cons: Staff was uncourteous. Accommodations were disinviting--the couch in our hotel was dirty. Everything seemed old and dingy. Expected much more for the price we paid, especially when charged an extra R$200 to check in early. We felt like we were the only guests because of how vacant the space feels, it gave us an eery feeling. The pool and fitness center are too small to even use and too dirty to make me feel comfortable.
6.7 Good
Pros: The hotel has a great location and the room had a great view!
Cons: They overcharged us almost R$150 on the final bill. I had to go item by item to get to the correct value. The bar on the lobby was supposed to accept a member's program points, but they didn't at first. They said they would do it later on the final bill, but they didn't. A lot of items on the menu were not available. I asked for a drink from the menu, and the barman simply decided to do a different recipe. And the gran finale...I asked for 2 wine glasses to have some wine in the room with my husband, and they charged me for the wine glasses!!!! I've never seen that happen in my life!

Pros: Breakfast was good, location excellent.

Pros: Breakfast
Cons: N/A
6.5 Good
Pros: The restaurant was very good and the staff is friendly and helpful. It was a quick trip from the airport
Cons: It was sold to us as a five star hotel, and it definitely is not that. They advertised their spa and massage services, but they really were not set up for it. The table did not have a face cradle, and the spa was closed so we had to set up elsewhere. The room was dated and had a musty smell.
7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast is great.
Cons: The WiFi really really sucks. If you plan on using YouTube... forget about it.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Nothing at all.
