Pros: The car itself (a Ford Focus) wasn't bad, although it could have been cleaner.
Cons: I kept Hertz informed of my flight change and delay. I was assured multiple times that the airport counter would be open and that I would be able to pick up my rental car. Yet, when I arrived at the airport, the Hertz counter was closed, and I could NOT pick up my car. I had been told that the counter would be open until 11:30 pm, and I arrived at 11:22 pm. I ended up spending more than $100 on taxis to get to my hotel and back to the airport the next morning to pick up the car. I was very upset at having to spend so much more money for transportation than I had planned.
Cons: I dropped off the car. No one checked it in. I haven't recieved my deposit. It's been over a Week now. WTF?
Fast, easy, great value.
Pros: I like smaller airports because the rental cars are right on site. We were off the plane and in our car in a matter of minutes. The car itself was clean, spacious, and fuel-efficient. We also had to rent a car seat for our 2-year-old and it actually was of reasonable quality.
Cons: I wasn’t allowed to rent a car when I already had a reservation. I had to go over to enterprise instead. Horrible experience.
Pros: Convenience of Hertz location.
Cons: Ordered an intermediate size ended up with a small Hyundai. Not at all pleased with the vehicle.Wish we would have been told what car was actually reserved and had opportunity to select another.
The Pros and Cons
Pros: The car and service were great.
Cons: Did not like the long walk to and from the car; however, the person at the desk said the next time I can request that the car be brought to the front of the airport for me.
Cons: They misled me saying the rental place was at the airport. Pickup place was not at the airport and had odd hours. Got there at 6:00 pm and it was closed.
Pros: Everything was simple , in and out. Lady at front desk was very nice even though I had already had my vehicle reserved she still took the time to price other similar but different model vehicles for me and I appreciated that.
Cons: Billing is weird I still don't know what there going to charge me,
Charged $50 for a cancelation due to weather
Cons: My flight was canceled due to weather and they charged me a $50 cancelation fee. That is something new to me.
Cons: Pricing was completely different. Hertz and kayak would not honor original quoted pricing.

Cons: I reserved the car well in advance. When I arrived at the Hertz airport desk after an on time 8pm flight arrival, I was told that my reservation was at a distant downtown location, but that it closed at 5:30pm. The airport Hertz office would rent a car for 2 1/2 times the price. They gave me a long, defensive explanation about how franchises work- I don't care- Hertz is Hertz. When you are provided with an address for an a city you haven't visited before, you do not have a context for proximity and I did not assume it would operate on bankers hours rather than traveler's hours. So much for sticking with a name brand company.Avis saved the day- thank you Avis
