9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Staff were all very kind and helpful.
Cons: My room was apparently near a compressor of some sort. Than would go off randomly. It went off almost every night, and while it only lasted a few minutes, it was so loud that it would wake me from a dead sleep- could even hear through ear plugs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pet friendly

Pros: Good location for my time spent in Grand Junction.
Cons: There was a problem with the first room that they gave me. When I turned down my bed it appeared that the sheets where not change as there was popcorn in the sheets. To the hotel's credit they moved me to another room.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Barking dogs surrounding my room after I asked for a quiet room due to my medical needs Was unable to sleep all night and then upon check in seen the room rate less by $80.00 on another website.

Pros: Room and bathroom was clean and roomy. Breakfast was great! Facility is very pretty inside. Loved the hot coffee, tea and free cookies at night!
Cons: The hot breakfast was a little hidden. I didn’t know it was there until getting all the cold breakfast items. Would’ve been a 10 if there was cut fruit also. Wish the room had double queens. The room was large enough for it.

The Bookcliffs Bed & Breakfast - Grand Junction - Bedroom

9.3 Excellent (61 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at The Bookcliffs Bed and Breakfast in Grand Junction, you'll be near the airport and within a 5-minute drive of Cross Orchards Historic Site. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, refrigerator in a common area, and a water dispenser. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary during limited hours.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice B&B, comfortable and nicely decorated room. Good breakfast. Good communication. Friendly people
Cons: Location not easy to find even with GPS
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We'd never stayed at a bed & breakfast before, but as we don't like staying at chain hotels, we decided to go for Bookcliffs bed & breakfast instead of a local hotel. Sam & Judy were lovely hosts, very friendly and there were a lot of facilities in our room. It was quite a hot day for September, so we were very happy to find a proper AC in our room. We got served a lovely breakfast in the morning before going to Colorado National Monument, and had a chance to chat with them which was great!
Cons: I know this is a personal thing, and some people love it, but the complete bedding of the bed was this silk-ish fabric. I really dislike sleeping on silk-ish fabric as I start sweating a lot and it makes me really uncomfortable, therefore I had trouble falling asleep and woke up a lot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, very clean, hosts were very nice
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay. Hosts Sam & Judy were very helpful, and the location was IDEAL for the event we were attending that weekend. Room was comfortable and especially enjoyed the adjoining exterior deck to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Breakfast was enjoyable and very healthy and filling, considering i REALLY like food. It was ready @ 8 AM as we were told at check in.
Cons: The ceiling fan was great so we didn't have to run the A/C unit, which was a bit loud. Room was nicely decorated, however, the extra decorating items, statues, cutesy things, could be simplified, with more space available for personal items.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, comfortable beds, friendly hosts
Cons: There was nothing to dislike

Pros: Nice place and a good value. It is centrally located in the city so that was handy for us. Had fridge, microwave, and coffee in the room.
Cons: The heater didn't seem to work very well and was off when we arrived so it was cold in the room and took a long time to heat up. It also kicked on and off every few seconds during the night.

Cons: The heater made noise and I'm a light sleeper so I had to turn it off at night. Not a big deal because the bedcovers were thick and comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nicest, cleanest motel I’ve been in for a long time! Bed was super comfortable! We will stay here from here on out when in Grand Junction. Big Hotel chains need to take lessons on how to run a hotel/motel from Columbine! Cheers!
Cons: Nothing Class A!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful owners/managers
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s not my first time here but every time I’m astounded by their amazingly clean rooms. From the outside, It’s just a little strip motel from the 50s but it truly one of the best values around and the kind, warm owners make you feel like you’ve arrived in a bygone era of civility.

Pros: The room was very nice and clean we enjoyed our stay here! However, we paid with cash and no one told us they were going charge us to pay with cash! Once we got our receipt emailed to us we saw the charge for paying with cash and if we knew they were going to do that, we would have just paid with our card! A little disappointing.
Cons: No one communicated with us about the charge for paying with cash.

6.0 Good
Pros: Room was comfortable and well-appointed.
Cons: Breakfast was rather ordinary. No help with luggage. And the big surprise was that we were charged for parking. When we arrived, the front desk person asked 'Would you like a parking pass?' when what she should have asked is "Would you like to buy a parking pass?' For the price we paid for the room, we would have expected more spectacular breakfast, help with luggage, and free parking.
6.8 Good
Pros: Gym, Breakfast, Bar Area
Cons: Staff was okay, our room was on the 2nd floor and you could hear noise from the street and the elevator and the AC unit was ill positioned next to the bed and we were either too hot with it off or freezing and waking up sick with it on.

Pros: The layout of the room was so efficient! We loved the fact that one could shower and yet there was a seperate lavoritory.

Pros: Staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable, the hot breakfast was decent, the hot tub/pool was nice, location was convenient
Cons: The hallways smelled like wet carpet and not like they'd just been cleaned, more like they'd just been peed on. Also, we were in an end unit and there was a light right outside our window that lit the room from around the edges of the blackout curtain.

Pros: Everything was wonderful, I have no complaints what so ever. Will stay again should I be going through Grand Junction.
Cons: Easy access. Great staff and after a long day on the road coming down out of Denver in a storm, it was what was needed for a good nights sleep. The breakfast was top notch as well.

Pros: We reserved a king room. Unfortunately tv was not working and no maintenance person available until next day Since that’s important to us, they switched rooms for us but no king rooms available which was very disappointing. However, the staff was very friendly and courteous during the whole situation, so we survived. LOL.

Pros: Location to airport and shuttle. Food at bistro very tasty, but closes early at 10pm. We arrived 945 starving, wish we had more time to sit and eat/drink.
Cons: The sheets on the bed had big stains. We called down to have housekeeping come take a look and a guy showed up to hand us sheets to do it ourselves. That's not why you choose a Marriott. The shuttle driver had smoked in shuttle van. Gross!

Pros: It's hard to get a real good feel for a hotel in one night but no complaints. We were showing some friends around downtown since we inherited some property on the other end of the mall. We had dinner and drinks so it was nice to close to the hotel. The beds were awesome, very comfortable and the staff was friendly.
Cons: The elevator rubber wheels made a sliding sounds when coming to a stop on the 4th floor. It sounded like the rubber wheels were trying to catch up with the elevator stopping, a little weird sounding and bothersome. You might want to check on that.
