Excellent 8.0
Pros: Greatv spot and family friendly
Cons: Check in
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was the perfect spot to return to after a morning in Arches. The kids loved the pool area and outdoor games, the beds were comfortable, the room set up was good for our family of 5, and downtown Moab was just a quick drive down the road.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Adore the pool! No , really! Love love love the pool area for my family! So very well done! A couple of slick areas though so be careful, I slipped while just walking and broke some toes. Room a little small. Didn’t love the pillows. Staff super friendly! Trundle for grand babies was dirty when we arrived but staff remedied it right away. Love this place! Would definitely come back!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location, location! Super close to the entrance of Arches NP. The facilities are clean.
Cons: LOTS of squealing kids by the pool. It would be great if they had one hour adults only from 9 to 10pm.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is an excellent family hotel! The rooms were spacious and very clean! We are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers and we were very comfortable! The beds were great! The couch had a trundle instead of a pullout and was very comfortable! The staff was so friendly and helpful! This hotel is also right down the street from the park entrance and close to downtown Moab as well! The pools and hot tubs were an added bonus! Really loved this hotel!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The kids love the pool.
Cons: Nothing, everything was great.
Good 7.0
Cons: Was looking forward to using the pool area, but realized it was packed with families. Z
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I liked the free breakfast, the pool area, the beds, the shower and the shampoo/conditioner set.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Took our grandkids for a long weekend, they loved the pool area (we did as well), it is aahmazing! Plenty of chairs too. We brought towels but having them available at the pool is really nice. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Plenty of parking.
Cons: Wish we would have know about the room service food! It isn't really advertised. We would have used that service, but didn't know until it was too late.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location, amenities, staff and views.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: My family loved our stay! The hotel is new and clean, our room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the river, and the pool is awesome. We will be back!
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The pool is great. Staff was hit or miss for friendly and/or helpful.
Cons: Overpriced, bait n switch. The rooms are not like the pictures. This isnt a suite. It is a hotel room with a small warm mini fridge...Unlike the picture which shows a full fridge. The hotel is over priced and would have saved hundreds by booking elsewhere
Excellent 9.0
Cons: Covid 19 breakfast
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Did a great job with covid-19 protection! Staff wore masks and kept everything very clean they also limited the number of guests in order to maintain appropriate social distancing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Super clean and felt like a luxury place to stay.
Cons: The bed was plenty comfortable, but not the super comfy memory foam mattress we’ve had at similar hotels.
Good 6.0
Pros: Great room, new property
Cons: Breakfast was badly managed and badly staffed. No nut free cereal options, not enough veggie/vegan options, closed breakfast at 9 am on Thanksgiving week, did not refill things during peak hours. For such a cold place, the pool and SOA are both outdo
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I loved this hotel. Rooms were spacious, clean, new and very well appointed. The heated pool was a hit with our son, and the fact that the pool stayed open until 11pm meant families could enjoy the pool in the evenings after dinner. Breakfast included was crowded but offered plenty of choices. WiFi included and complimentary parking were great amenities. Our stay here was wonderful.
Cons: The only suggestion that I have is perhaps 2-3 more hooks for towels in the bathrooms would have been handy.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Our room was very convenient to outside back area where we could take our little dog. Also convenient to places for eating and shopping. Excellent hot breakfast served at this lodging.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice property. Closest hotel to Arches NP. Friendly staff, comfortable room, and delicious breakfast. I wish they would serve it earlier than 6:00 am, because if you don’t enter the Park earlier than 6:00am you might end up in a long line at the entrance. That just my opinion
Cons: See wish breakfast earlier.comment above
Good 7.0
Pros: Good- friendly staff- Food mediocre
Okay 5.0
Cons: Our shower wouldn’t drain something was wrong with it. Had to stand in up to 4inches of water to take a shower. Breakfast was not good either. Expensive hotel with not much to offer other than location
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Updated, clean, good breakfast , great staff
Cons: A little pricey but all the hotels in Moab are expensive.
Good 6.0
Pros: Location
Cons: This hotel is EXTREMELY overpriced!!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room size, the staff were so kind and on top of helping you.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: They gave us an upgrade and were More than informative about everything important with our stay
Cons: None
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Large room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Super friendly staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Rooms were very spacious.
Cons: None!!!
Poor 1.0
Pros: Adequate heating in the winter.
Cons: There was a hidden pet fee, it is LOUD, the staff was dishonest, the other guests were inconsiderate, it is the furthest hotel from town, and the bed was not comfortable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was perfect
Cons: No
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location and good breakfast and easy parking next to room and the espresso man.
Cons: No
Good 6.4
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Nice little place!
Cons: No
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely hotel. Nice, clean rooms. The ceiling fan was a great addition to the room. I loved that it was there. Breakfast was great! Nice location in being close to the Arches National Park.
Cons: Not such a great location if you want to be in town. Out a ways. Also, there was a big road construction project going on right out in front making it hard to find our way into the hotel parking lot. But this was not the fault of the hotel.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Location was ideal for visiting the parks nearby.
Cons: Rude staff. Signs on the doors said it required a mask inside yet front desk staff wasn’t wearing one. They were out of pool towels as well and never offered anything alternative or apologized for the inconvenience.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Comfortable and clean.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean place, friendly staff and excellent breakfast! Highly recommend this place.
Cons: Location far from downtown for small town
Okay 5.0
Pros: Location and grounds
Cons: Noise between rooms Competing with staff for breakfast
Poor 1.0
Pros: It was close to what we were looking to do, not in the middle of town.
Cons: The rooms were not nearly to the standard of the pictures shown on the site. Also, the exercise equipment, always a factor for me, was either not working or absolutely horrible.
Excellent 9.1
Cons: the wifi is weak
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Had a very quiet and comfortable stay. The rooms were spacious, very clean and everything in the room was in excellent working order. The breakfast was in a large dining area. The staff was very good at refilling all containers to keep up with the rush time. The area itself was kept very clean and tables were made available for new seating immediately in spite of a large number of young kids doing what they normally do with food. The bathrooms were clean and updated and the water stayed hot for long showers especially after a long day of hiking. The rooms were very quiet in spite of being next to a highway. A very short drive to the center of Moab. They provide a shuttle to and fro to the city center for dining etc. if you don't want to drive.
Cons: The food containers need to be changed so they can keep the food warm. But there is a microwave available in the breakfast area to warm anything to your liking.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Had had a wonderful time, stopped here on a road trip and stayed an extra 2 nights. Only booked one night though kayak but the they gave us the same discount for the next two nights at the desk. Comfy room, nice beds and pillows, complete with those wonderful cylinder pillows. Free buffet breakfast is quite substantial and the chef is very friendly and attendent. Nice hot tub.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice place, friendly staff, clean, quite and comfortable place,
Cons: none
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This hotel is closed to the Arches park. We visited it in November. The hotel was nicely decorated and they had a jumping house for kids (which is great after traveling a big distance by car with kids.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The hot tub/heated outdoor pool was so nice after long days of hiking! We had a large group of adults and we rented out the two apartments and a queen room. Everyone was extremely satisfied, and the rooms were very spacious. The location could not have been better, and overall this hotel exceeded my expectations for the cost.
Cons: Nothing!
Good 6.5
Pros: Had a big room with 3 queen beds that for our group well.
Cons: Breakfast was sub par, as usual with most hotels.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Comfortable rooms, friendly, helpful staff, CLEAN, delicious breakfast.
Cons: No complaints

Okay 5.0
Pros: The pool was wonderful. For the price of the room I expected something nicer. I had to ask for more washcloths and the breakfast was not good. My grandson even said he should teach them how to make scramble eggs and he is only 11.
Cons: There was someone else hair on the bed. I had to ask for more washcloths and the breakfast was not good.My grandson even said he should teach them how to make scramble eggs and he is only 11.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Comfortable, clean rooms. Hot breakfast buffet is back and delicious! So grateful you have a locked room to store my mountain bike
Cons: Hot tubs and pool area were great, however there were a lot of kids in the hot tubs. Maybe you can designate at least one to adults only. Refrigerator was not cold.
Good 7.0
Pros: The outdoor area is amazing with great heated pools with varying depths for little kids and adults, lots of hot tubs and outdoor games. Staff friendliness was mediocre. If you stay multiple nights, you have to specifically request house cleaning or they won’t come. They state they have warm coffee available all day but when my spouse told them coffee was cold and if they could brew another, they instead offered a coffee mix for him to brew in our hotel room instead. Breakfast was okay. For cost of stay, I would think there would be better service. I think that cost goes towards the pool, which, again, pretty nice.
Cons: Staff and beds not very comfortable
Excellent 8.0
Pros: My husband went to the breakfast each morning, but it would have been nicer if it remained open until 10. 9:00 was too early a cut off time, so I missed having breakfast.
Cons: It would have been so much better if your people at the desk informed all guests about the adjoining property that served food and wine, etc. We would have definitely used it. Also, when viewing a Showtime movie you could barely get into the movie when it would freeze. It did that each night we tried. May we suggest that there needs to be a hand rail on the largest part of the tub area. The mattresses are very different and we were wondering what they were made of? Thank you for allowing us to sound off.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Everything from location, pool, included breakfast Buffett (during Corona), to views were amazing!
Cons: Room service for the price was outrageous. Not including taxes and fees, it was very very overpriced for what they served and how it looked when it was served. I am okay spending the money, in fact I will usually pay a little extra for the convenience of things. However, there was not a well thought out menu with mostly frozen, made to heat up in microwave, type items. It’s not as if that the service wasn’t being used either because, I saw at least 3-4 other people ordering by the pool within an hour. Full time culinary personnel would really ramp up the value of the menu and make the perfect little resort that you would never have to leave.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Distance to arches.
Good 7.0
Pros: Pool experience
Good 7.0
Pros: The buffet was open
Cons: When I opened the sofa bed there were still dirty sheets from the last guest.
Excellent 9.6
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Well appointed room - great setting and location.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful location - stunning views! Pool was awesome for the kids!
Cons: Everything! It was perfect for our visit to Arches National Park!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Gorgeous location and my son loved the hot tubs!
Excellent 9.7
Pros: This location was clean. The staff were always available ke and friendly. The recreation area attached to the Spring Hill suites is excellent for families. The air conditioning was perfect! The grounds were immaculately kept.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Newer design although it took a little exploration to find all the room amenities. If we weren't so tired from a long days drive we would have been in a better frame of mind.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice
Cons: Nope
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Wonderful location and staff. That wind though! Did I mention the wind???
Cons: Did I say anything about the wind that blew each night?@
Excellent 9.0
Pros: bed, mosquito net, seating options, lanterns,
Cons: all the tents should have the stargazing option
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was so lovely, accommodating and helpful. They made our stay so enjoyable!
Cons: Some road noise bc closer to highway than expected but they provide earplugs and small fans
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location is perfect. We really enjoyed our mornings with coffee on the porch looking over the desert. It is also really close to Canyon Lands and Arches which makes it easy to get to those parks in the morning before the crowds and heat.
Cons: The only thing I think they could do a little better is with having food available. They ran out of grab and go breakfasts twice while we were there. It is a 20-30 minute drive to Moab and with the price per night you pay it would be nice not to have to worry about anything. That said, I will definitely be checking out their other locations!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved the bed!!
Cons: Longer burning logs. So we had pine wood that burnt up fast. Maybe by providing a red cedar it would burn longer and not require guest to load the fireplace as often.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The bed is like sleeping on a cloud. There was more road noise than when we stayed at their Zion property, but it didn't bother me at all. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Loved having live music at night, and smores. Having a bathroom in the tent is a MUST. Tents were a bit close to each other, but everyone was good with quiet hours. Very convenient to Moab. and the parks - Dead Horse Point, Arches and Canyonland.
Cons: We also stayed in a yurt at Dead Horse Point State Park. Those lovely yurts have heat and A/C, which would be an awesome addition at Under Canvas.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Two of the workers, Chris and Garrett were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcomed! Chris made sure my fire was going so I wouldn’t freeze :) it was such a fun experience.
Cons: If the weather was warmer!
Good 6.0
Pros: kind staff
Cons: not like the expectation I had from the pictures
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great Staff!
Cons: Road noise overnight was more than expected.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Wonderful experience! Staff was great.
Good 7.0
Pros: The staff at this hotel was phenomenal. Additionally, the hotel was easy to find and conveniently located to the things we were planning to do. The room was also surprisingly comfortable (although the beds were a bit creaky).
Cons: The layout and logistics of the hotel made things like cooking quite inconvenient--I think doing more of a spoked-wheel layout (centering the cooking areas) would have made more sense. Additionally, I think more bathrooms would be helpful.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Full moon, comfy bed, firewood
Cons: Highway

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Spacious, clean room, comfortable bed, awesome pool, really good breakfast, great location to Arches NP
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean room, extremely comfortable bed, and very nice pool area with hot tubs. Good breakfast.
Cons: Very slow WiFi - runs at about 2mbps.
Good 7.0
Pros: It was close to the arches National park entrance. The pool was amazing. I loved the shower!
Cons: Staff was a little rude.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Comfortable sleep, good shower head, pool and hot tub, breakfast staff were working hard
Cons: Hotels that call a room a suite because it has a little couch and tiny kitchen-like area, it’s an exaggeration.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It was all good. Great selection.
Cons: Not much.
Good 6.0
Pros: The room was clean, beds were comfy. The room was sufficient for our family and the kids enjoyed the pool. On a happy note, the self-serve laundry area was clean and breakfast was good with an actual buffet, something we hadn’t encountered in a long time in these COVID days.
Cons: This Holiday Inn is built into a hill which I think contributes to the maze-like interior. Our room was in the lower level which was at the bottom of the hill. This off-the-beaten-path location led to it being very quiet because it seemed to be one of those “You can’t get there from here” situations. I tried to get a cart there to carry in our luggage but gave up after getting lost. Locating the main lobby from our walk-out-basement-like room took exploring with some twists and turns. There was no cleaning service provided, probably due to a lack of staff thanks to COVID “relief” checks enticing workers to stay at home. In our two-night stay, we had to gather our own dirty towels, pick up clean ones at the front desk, and empty our own overflowing trash cans, not exactly what I’d expect from Holiday Inn but the desk staff did warn us upfront.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location between Arches and downtown was ideal- kids loved the pool and we enjoyed watching them and just relaxing around the pool
Good 7.0
Pros: Simple hotel without any fancy amenities. Went to Moab for the parks though, so was not looking for a plethora of hotel features.
Cons: Roadwork was being done on the main road and the hotel drive. Also, there was no hotel sign at the drive entrance, which made it difficult to find where to turn
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Swimming pool and location
Cons: Carpet in the rooms and hallways felt dirty
Okay 4.0
Pros: The pool
Cons: Staff was rude the room felt and looked dirty !
Good 6.0
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast is excellent considering the Covid situation. Staff in breakfast room worked super hard. Beds are comfortable and towels and linen are clean. However, the hotel is a little dated.
Cons: Masks are not very strictly enforced. Some staff and guests were not wearing masks, which could be a concern.
Good 7.0
Pros: Staff was wonderfully friendly
Cons: Breakfast. Needed more workers. Waited for the food to come out. The workers were doing their best but there were only two. Cooking, serving and cleaning the tables.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Clean. Good breakfast location good with exception of Moab street construction right outside hotel
Cons: Wanted to add a night. Price doubled. I guess that was weekend rate. We drive two hours on our trip home and paid less
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location, breakfast
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice Place to stay. My family we are enjoyed.
Cons: We need water bottles in the room so we can make our coffee.
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff was very attentive They offered to make fresh coffee anytime we asked
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Comfort of bed and nice linens
Good 6.0
Pros: Good location and COVID protocols in place during breakfast.
Cons: Room cleanliness could use work (hairs on floors, food left in fridge/freezer.
Good 7.0
Pros: Clean, close to national parks
Cons: Staff was standoffish, we didn’t get the continental breakfast because it was too crowded and very little COVID precautions were in place.
Excellent 9.0
Cons: Their are rocks in a divider in the parking lot. My wife and daughter both almost fell walking across the rocks. I then saw another guest actually fall.
Good 6.8
Poor 1.0
Pros: Location
Cons: We couldn't sleep: Air conditioning in room not effective. The room was over 80 degrees F all night. When brought to the attention of front desk staff, the response that this was a known issue for the room, since it was above the laundry room.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location
Cons: Pool was really cold, breakfast was grab and go due to covid
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Leaving
Cons: Arriving
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Was nice to get a sack breakfast in these times.
Good 7.0
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating!
Cons: There was a white filmy substance on my bathroom door and trim and sink handle. The fan in the bathroom stayed on all of the time.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The hotel is located about as close to Arches National Park as you can get. It’s very nice to get a full breakfast without having to look elsewhere in town.
Cons: I’ve stayed at several Holiday Inn Express locations before and usually they’re very clean. The attention to detail was lacking at the Moab location as the room wasn’t as clean as would be expected. There were even stray Skittles under the bed and the closet was dusty.
Good 7.0
Pros: Pool
Okay 4.0
Cons: this was more of the quality of the Good Days Inn or Super 8
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nothing good. Lots of better and cheaper hotels there.
Cons: The housekeeper steal my Apple AirPod and also a facial massager bought from Japan. However she only gives my massager back. Front desk guys said they will call me back for more information but they NEVER did. Not surprised at all. Do NOT book this hotel. THEY STEAL!!!!
Okay 5.0
Pros: Hotel was fine or as expected other than pool closure.
Cons: upon Our arrival we were notified of pool and hot tub closure. The only reason we booked this hotel was for the pool. Wish we'd have known that when booking online, we would have stayed somewhere else. Disappointed!!

Pros: The breakfast was awesome!
Cons: The fan in our bathroom was old and made a ton of noise. We called to have them take a look at it and were told that just how the fan is and it cant be turned off for safety reasons. Heard it all throughout the night and didn''t sleep well becaus

Pros: Check-in staff were very friendly. Offered discounts on activities. The room was very quiet. Could not hear other guests. Sink in the bathroom was not draining. They had someone right there to fix it. The breakfast was great. Lots of options.
Cons: We loved having a king but it was extremely firm. We didn't sleep well during our 4 night stay.
