Pave your parking lot. First car broke down on us but roadside assistance helped us out. Second car was much better. Tire light was on and radio didn’t work, no navigation. Other than that it went well and the staff is very good and easy to deal with.

Our flight was cancelled from London to Glasgow. There was no available alternate flight that day. We called Easirent to inform them we would pick car up next day. They refused our request, cancelled the booking, kept our money and said they would charge us more for not showing up. We had to rent another car next day, doubling the cost of rental for 1 day less use. Do not rent from this company, they are charlatans.

I had a horrible experience. The first thing you need to know is that easirent is no where near the airport. All other major carriers are. It was about a ten minute wait for the van, then another 10 minutes to the location. The rental office is a sketchy trailer with a single person working the desk. I was third in line and waited 30 minutes, only to be told my car was given away. I will admit I was 45 minutes late to pick up the car. They gave me a choice to rent a manual, which I could not do. I then scrambled, found a car on Enterprise ($400 more), and had them drive me back to the airport. All told: I lost an hour plus, missed a distillery tour ($100), and had one of the most frustrating experiences while traveling. In sum, pay the extra money, go to a known carrier on the airport premises.

Service was great, very friendly staff and quick check in and check out… wish they had a better car park as entering and exiting was very bunny and pothole filled… a larger sign would help location accuracy, and if the car park was paved then it would look much more inviting and appealing.

Liked- Used Easirent many times. They have never tried to extort or rob me. Avis/Budget are very bad for this. People are nice and polite. The process is straight forward. Pick-up/drop-off is quick and easy. Could have been better- The outside of the car had a lot of scratches but this was listed when we collected and they didn't try to get extra revenue when we dropped it off. Tyre level warning light on, couldn't reset even after putting air in. Interior was dirty, bought some cleaner and a cloth fixed that. The price was high, but this was due to my credit card expired so had to use my debit card. Credit card arrived 2 days into the rental :(

The car rental was was not completed. I booked through a third party broker Priceline via Kayak) and upon arrival at the Easirent depot in Glasgow was told that because I had booked through a third party, the booking would only be honoured if I took out additional insurance to reduce the collision damage waiver to £1500. As I have a separate "car insurance excess" policy this would not be necessary. The attendant at the desk then asked me to prove I had such a policy so I took out my phone and showed him the policy certificate which showed that the policy covered damages up to £50,000. He then told me that Easirent only accept policies that cover damages up to £60,000. I found this statement bizarre given that even without the additional payment he was demanding (which would have nearly doubled the original quoted cost of the car hire), I would only have been liable to the "non-insured" part of the car up to a maximum of £2500 which would have been taken from my credit card at the beginning of the rental period. As I was unwilling to agree to the extra payment I returned to the airport and the other car rental desks and made alternative arrangements. There is nothing in the T&Cs that state that this extra payment is Easirent policy but the attendant stated that there were. In retrospect I should have asked him to show them to me but by that point, and having observed the "up-selling" tactics that were being used on other customers ahead of me in the queue I had decided that it was probably best to use a more reputable car hire company than Easirent. My conclusion was that f they were going to be like that at the outset of the trip, what tricks would they pull upon the return of the car to gauge even more from the agreement. In short, on this evidence, I would not use Easirent again. Most of the car rental broker website show them to have the cheapest on-line quotes but the business model is one of up-selling add-ons to the customer upon arrival when most travelers are stressed and most likely to cave in to the pressure brought to bear by the person at the desk.

BE CAREFUL! Fortunately Paisley (Glasgow airport, Scotland) accepted my Diners Club credit card had collision and theft coverage, so I could decline paying for Europecar’s coverage. Despite my having paperwork saying my North American auto insurance had up to 60 days global rental coverage (I had a coverage rider noting this, in my name, printed out and with me), this location said they would not have taken that. And Europcar on the week prior Dublin rental refused even the credit card coverage and forced us to purchase the extra Europcar insurance, despite my having Pre-Paid that rental on their website!! So be very careful, and it’s not the rental staff’s fault. Europcar buries the fact (that they are stringent on allowing people to decline paying for coverage. It is 2 clicks in and a big scroll down to see how stringent and that you need proof in writing in you name for them to accept you have suitable 3rd party coverage.

Upon arrival, we were told our reserved car was not currently available but should be soon if we would just wait. 45 minutes later we were finally told the truth. There was no car. There was not going to be a car. They knew this before and were just hoping for some miracle while we lost precious time in our travels and has to scramble (and pay up) for a last minute rental from another agency that was fortunately better prepared!

Aim to please!Friendliness of staff - seems like they have had some training in US customer serviceMy rental car had issues so had to find an alternative car. But not such a big deal really. Staff all wanted to shake hands - must be a new training thing - unnecessary in my opinion.

Didn't have the specific car requested but got anRequested a Nissan Pathfinder for third row of seats. Its not a car enterprise UK carries in their fleet anymore so they offered us a SEAT Alhambra people carrier (mini van) for same price. We had it for 18 days and it was a great car for the money. Wish they had them in the U.S.!No complaints at all.

Ripped off again in Scotland.I was ripped off again. The second time this has happened to me in Glasgow, UK. At the end of the rental, I was charged for scratches on the wheel rim which I did not cause. All of the wheels had scrapes and scratches on them. The person checking me in only looked at ONE rim and pointed out several scratches which he said "looked new". They charged me GBP 120.00 for the scratches, and a GBP 55.00 fee for "damage processing". How ridiculous. I am going to contest these charges, because I did not drive up on curbs or otherwise damage this rim. I only parked in the hotel parking lot and at the COSTCO parking lot, both of which had parking slots and no curbs.

The car itself was great.The site says the office is in the terminal. It was not. Just a Hirt walk. But still misleading. The wait to pick up the car was long. It cost way more than the original quote. And the directions for drop off were easily missed. I found it more by luck than by following the roadside directions.

The Peugeot 308 handled well and was large enough to be comfortable for three people and luggage. We drove it around for two weeks in England and Scotland. The staff at the Glasgow airport were knowledgeable and friendly, though service was a little slow due to many customers.

Customer service person was great - we found the staff to be incredibly pleasant. The car itself was great.The rental was MUCH more costly than what was advertised and the bill that came afterwards was very hard to understand. They press you to add insurance and then there are increased taxes and fees that you don't know about. The bill was about 25% more than we were expecting. Pretty frustrating... and expensive.

Didn't have car, extra feesThe first person I met seemed to want to be helpful (but she handed me over to another)They didn't even have the car we booked (7 person) on site, despit having booked it weeks in advance. They gave us a 5 person car, tried to tell us it was better than the one we booked and if we wanted the 7-seater we would have to come back to the airport at night and hopefully one would be ready. Then they added extra fees for "minimum required legal insurance", saying we were quoted the wrong amount because we booked on the US site (we have French drivers licenses). Disappointing.

The customer service was impeccable. I was served by a guy named Ish and he was just amazing. The car was clean, had brand new smell, it was a great drive and the return was painless. I don't feel at this time that anything could have been better except for the price, but that's the market and not the company's fault.

It took us 90 minutes to get the car. There were only two people in front of us in line, but there was only one person working and for some reason it took him a very long time to process them. Then the car wasn't even on the lot and we had to track him down. The worker was very nice and helpful and I don't think it was his fault.

Steven at pickup was great and very helpful. He did not try a hard upsell, which has often happened to me. At drop off, Kristian was wonderful; there was a small bit of damage and he was comforting and helpful. He was very clear about the process.When we had to change the time of pickup because the airline cancelled our early flight it was very difficult to work it out; office hours were sketchy (no 24/7 service from Sixt on the phone) and the communication among the staff seemed less than perfectly effective. In the end it worked out though

Staff was dishonest with gas prices, check their word against the receipt. Also any tiny unnoticeable ding on the hubcap will be changed to you. Scotland is the worst place I ever rent cars.Service.

I called Hertz 2x before I picked up the car, the 1st time to let them know that my flight was delayed 12 hours, and I was told they would still have my car available. The 2nd time I called to extend my rental a day, and they were very helpful, and extended the reservation at very little cost.Economy Car was not held for me, despite me having called beforehand to confirm it would be. No real effort was made to provide a smaller car when I expressed concern over the huge replacement vehicle I was given (Scotland has tiny roads and they gave me a Volkswagon Caddy). No personnel at drop-off

The car, a brand we had never even heard of (a Seat Leon), was comfortable, compact, thoughtfully designed, quiet, and a pleasure to drive.They could have given us a manual or instructions on the Infotainment system. It was not easy to work out what all the functions were and how to use them, and we didn't even find the CD player (in the glove compartment) until near the end of our trip.

A 35 minute wait when you arrive just to speak with someone is not OK.Representative understood our frustration and upgraded us.Ridiculous ticket system meant waiting 35mins just to speak to someone. Arriving late at night with small children this system was painful. If you know how many people booked surely you can make the pick up a lot smoother. The other carhire companies did not seem to be having the same problems. Also - directions on the print out were not how you actually get to the 'new' car hire centre.

The car was decent and in line with what was promised upon booking. Picking up the car was pretty painless except for finding the actual desk itself.Upon arriving in the international airport, there is no clear signage that the rental car desk is in the domestic terminal and we had to lug all our luggage around trying to find it. Pick-up of rental car is a short walk from the terminal, however if you are trying to navigate this with a lot of luggage in the torrential rain, it is not a lot of fun as they are doing roadworks between the terminal and the rental car pick-up. The walkway is uncovered and not level for easy navigation with trolleys / luggage.

Too much paperwork required to rent from Thrifty.Nothing.I reserved my car with Thrifty at Glasgow Airport. However,, when I tried to decline the company's insurance and use the coverage on my credit card, they insisted on written proof of coverage. Who carries around something like that?! I offered the phone number to the credit card company but they declined to call. Never again.

Not as AdvertisedI chose this company because it was listed as at the terminal. It wasn't. I had to call them three times to be picked up. It took 45 minutes after discovering they weren't at the airport. No floor mats and they were going to charge a cleaning fee if the carpets weren't clean upon return. It was bloody raining all week. That's why you have floor mats.

Without doubt the worst car hire company I’ve ever dealt with. Ignorant people who plainly set out to take money from me. Lied about condition of the vehicle! Would not check the car over with me when I pointed there was a lot more damage than they said, including damage to a wheel. And on returning the car they tried to blame me for the very same wheel being damaged and now there was a blister on that tyre. Considering they service an international airport there hours don’t suit everyone and you will need to return the car to suit their schedule which means booking a hotel at Glasgow airport if you have an early flight next day. But from start to finish it was terrible. To the point I’d use public transport before I’d use them again. Now I need to deal with them not stealing money from my credit card as I refused to sign their paperwork admitting I damaged their car. Even though I have pictures to back me up. So beyond not happy.

I notified Green Motion and Car Rentals .com ahead of time and tried to contact kayak and Expedia by phone and website to no avail—please credit my money back because I canceled and never used a car

Drop off was super easy. The person that handled the drop off/shuttle was super friendly and nice. They also picked us up from the airport, which is like a 2 minute drive so that was cool too. -The car was amazing! Massage drivers seat and a lot of fun features that I've never seen before.- Worth keeping in mind when looking around that you'll have to put down an above average deposit if you choose to go with your own credit card insurance (over 2,500gbp). If you choose to go with one of their options for insurance it will add a couple hundred to your bill. So if you think this is the more inexpensive option, you may be wrong with all the extras you'll have to get. -Make sure on pick up to take pictures of everything (even scratches and dents under 4cm or whatever they suggest) We were asked on drop off if we had a picture of a dent that we were told we didn't have to document on pickup. Luckily we had figured as much and had video/pics of it. -They had the tank filled just over half which I thought was odd, usually rental cars start with a full tank but that could just be my preference.

Nothing. I did not get the car at all. I paid $203 for full rental and they tried to charge me 700 pounds on pick up and charge more costs. Awful experience and awful car rental company. I eventually walked away from the car rental due to what they were trying to charge me in addition, when clearly the confirmation said 0 due at pick up.Stay away from Green Motion Car Rental at all costs. Awful experience, awful customer service. Downright lies spewed at pick up. Saying I needed a passport to rent car, but would waive requirement if I paid 300 pounds. Would not accept my credit card, but would take my Debit card for an extra charge per day. Very rude to me when all of this was questioned saying it was in the small print of their terms. Please remove this car rental company from your advertising.

Staff was helpful, but found many other issues having going though a 3rd party for reservation, requiring a very high hold on our CC.They gave me a truck instead of the car I reserved, given this when the tail gate support came off, I got charged for the dysfunction with the tailgate.

Website needs to be more clear on prices. You think your getting a good deal until you go to pick up the car.... now iv already paid for the car hire now they want a credit card with £1200 excess or pay £200 deposit on top of £35 per day non refunded. But dont explain this when you pay for the hire
