10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was unbelievably wonderful! We ordered room service and it was terrific! Everything was so perfect that I hate to mention this——upon arrival/check in, we had quite a bit of luggage to leave in the car and quite a bit to get out of the car. The valet/bellman was not helpful. He watched us struggle and didn’t help. We only stayed one night, checking in on Oct 6. However the rest of our stay couldn’t have been better! We loved it!

Cons: Noisy toilet.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic value for money! Although it is called a hostel, the rooms were lovely.

Pros: The property has an arboretum style area and a huge teepee in the back for legalized cannabis smoking

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great
Cons: Great
9.0 Excellent
Pros: My family and I stayed here while I bathroom was being redone in our house and it was fantastic! The separations of the two rooms was great for when are daughter had to go to bed but we wanted to stay up later. The bath tub is wonderful. It was the first time I had taken a bath in years because it was so deep that my legs were covered in water. Breakfast was delicious and different every day, well worth the money.
Cons: We always pick a hotel with a swimming pool and this one left much to be desired. It was freezing cold and had so much chlorine in it that the smell alone was over bearing. Wish that would have been a little better.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Location was nice next to mall and restaurants.

The Armstrong Hotel - Fort Collins - Building
5
9.0 Excellent (620 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Weve been a vital part of the Fort Collins community for over 95 years. In spring 2019, we underwent thoughtful renovations to bring renewed luster to our guestrooms and public spaces, while respecting our history and longevity. The individually unique guest rooms and suites are designed purposefully with comfort and convenience in mind, boasting the perfect combination of luxury and charm for an at-home feel. Our team love sharing their passion for Fort Collins, ensuring you have a personalized, memorable stay. If youre keen to explore the town, ask us for a complimentary bicycle. And dont be surprised if you come downstairs and find weve set up an impromptu cocktail tasting or theres a jazz guitarist playing in the corner. Thats just the way we do things here. Centrally located in Old Town Fort Collins, the hotel is just one mile from Colorado State University and nearby to the Poudre Canyon and Rocky Mountain National Park offering ample adventure hiking, fishing, rafting and biking all within minutes of the hotel. With Fort Collins earning the reputation of the beer capital of Colorado, the hotel is conveniently located near popular craft breweries and tasting rooms. We are immensely proud to be home to some of Fort Collins favorite neighborhood haunts. Mugs Coffee Lounge is a locally owned, family-operated coffee shop (popular with the college crowd). Choice City Butcher is renowned for its deli and draft beer offerings. For a create-your-own stir fry, try HuHot Mongolian Grill. And our favorite, check out Ace Gilletts, offering a speakeasy-style, remarkable craft cocktails, a gastro-bite menu and live music. Looking to relax a bit? Stop by Amara Massage Therapy & Wellness offers a menu of relaxing spa services with various massage techniques, including relaxation, deep tissue, sports, and pre-natal/post-partum massage. Additional spa services include hydration therapy, various scrubs and masques, aromatherapy, and a private steam shower area.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Very pleasant staff. Bedding was super comfy.
Cons: The train blowing their whistle is for real. Sooooo loud. Shower a little quirky. Elevators old school tiny.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The renovations of the Armstrong Hotel is fabulous.
Cons: I was not happy that Armstrong Hotel changed to only valet parking only.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the hotel and Old Town
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was absolutely amazing. Some of the best service I have ever had!
Cons: I liked every aspect.
7.9 Good
Pros: Cozy home away from home, especially in one of the heaviest snowfalls in years, according to the locals. Located downtown with the best coffee shop available without going outside. Also available in slippers is a restaurant/butcher shop(yes!) for lunch or dinner. Service has fallen a bit with new owners. HVAC pretty much a disaster. With a steam radiator and a more modern heat & A/C unit in the room, it is virtually impossible to het the temperature comfortable. This needs to be fixed for the value to match the price of the room.
Cons: HVAC - see above.

Cons: No oven.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Neat and clean. Large rooms. Great deal.
Cons: Kids wished it had a pool.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was very good for us and we appreciated being able to choose if we wanted room service.
Cons: Lack of daily breakfast was below most competing hotels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room more then expected. Would stay here again I
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location, some employees better than others. Easy check-in.
Cons: Two night stay, the room was not cleaned after the first night. When we requested additional towels we were told that rooms are only cleaned weekly, which explains the layer of dust. We were told additional towels would be sent to our room the evening that we called, they never showed up. Finally got some when we called the desk again the next morning. There was a stench of bleach and cleaning fluid coming from the vents that caused us both to have sore throats from breathing it in. The housekeeping staff opened the door at 9am on the morning we were checking out, we were still getting dressed for the day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was amazing and I really LOVED how there was dishes, silverware, pots&pans ect., as well as a personal ice maker, a real-size fridge, and even a dishwasher! I loved the convenient "cupboard" also, so I didn't have to run out for quick errands! I even got to choose which floor I stayed on, as well as my preference for a one or two bed. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this was by far my favorite!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was super comfy, my room was quiet, and the staff was great. I had my service dog with me and it was easy to get a room on the first floor. I would definitely stay again!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay there was very relaxing, didn’t want to come back to reality. We were there because a family member had surgery and we were recovering at the hotel before traveling back home. The bed was comfortable, very thankful for the recliner in our suite. I was amazed at the size of the room! It was larger than a lot of 1 bedroom apartments. It was quiet and the staff was super friendly. The little store downstairs had a nice selection of snacks and treats. The complimentary coffee was hot and tasty.
Cons: The coffee in our room wasn’t replenished every day, I’m sure I could have gotten more if I asked and there was fresh coffee downstairs 24/7. Our bathroom could have used a deep clean and scrub around the tub and toilet, wasn’t bad just could use a little extra elbow grease.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: in room mini-kitchen; large desk & work area
Cons: they need to up their breakfast game
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Loved everything about this hotel and it's location.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: I didn’t like the fact that they were unable to retrieve our reservation from booking.com and had to create a new one. I waited 20 minutes for them to try and sort it out but they ended up on hold with you. We did get a room but under a new booking so they didn’t give us the same rate. If I can’t count on having a reservation when I book through your site then I wonder if I should be using it. You had confirmed my reservation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were huge and very, very clean.

Pros: staff was amazing; room was very clean and quiet
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Great value and the staff is always great. I had a sweet tooth late and you don’t have snacks for sale but the guy at front dest got me a few pastries which was great. Also the night I stayed it snowed pretty good and I didn’t have a snow brush / scraper, so I went to the front desk to ask for a broom and they actually had snow brushes to use. I asked if I could buy one and the manager said I could just have it. Just want to say that this was above and beyond in both cases so Thank You.
Cons: Great for the location and price.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely, we had a suite, and it thoroughly met our expectations. The couch was even comfortable. One of the reasons that we booked this hotel, was because sitting in a hot tub after a day of diving was what we needed. Their hot tub was wonderfully hot, and the pool seemed nice as well. It's location was perfect, plenty of restaurants nearby, and the staff was helpful. We'll definitely be booking there in the future! Highly recommended!
Cons: The breakfast could have been better, compared to other hotels in the same price range. The only other downside was the noise coming from other guests. There's nothing that the staff could do, but since it was booked solid, there were a lot of people running and stomping around. That's really the only complaints we had about our experience there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I got there and they gave my my choice of room. The place is clean and up-to-date. The breakfast is very good.
Cons: The location is kind of hard to find.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay. Facilities were beyond our expectations. Was impressed with low noise level. Rarely could here other sounds when in our room.
Cons: Was an overall excellent stay! From checkin to departure, found everything met or exceeded our expectations. Only minor thing was server, who did an amazing/excellent job, just couldn't keep enough coffee made!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It fulfilled all of the basic needs
Cons: The walls/doors were dirty. Either the simply needed to be wiped down or a paint job. Their breakfast selection was basic but net kept fresh for guests coming at a later time
5.0 Okay
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Took our concerns serious.
Cons: Had the general feeling of being of being a little dirty and uncared for . Got out the blankets for the sofa bed and they had a couple long hairs on them . Also the sheets seemed like they were clean , but seemed kind of worn out .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is as great! The hotel should be rated yay least a 3 NOT a 2 or 2.5!
Cons: No
10.0 Excellent
Cons: I paid my bill the on wed. so I could leave early on Thursday. I also paid for an extra night for my daughter as she had just move out of her house in Fort Collins. Last time when I got home in Ky. I checked my computer and found that my credit card had been charged twice for the same stay. I called the hotel last night and couldn't get it worked out. I don't understand why Comfort Inn is charging me twice for same room. I had great stay so please correct this so my visit won't be tainted.

6.0 Good
Pros: The room was nice and roomy. The breakfast was nice with nice selections.
Cons: Our room had a Noisy heater. Very hard to adjust to keep the temperature accurate. Be nice to have a thermostat. I think someone could make better sausage and gravy. The biscuits were good, but the gravy bland.
5.4 Okay
Pros: It's a dog-friendly hotel.
Cons: When we checked in, the TV in our room didn't work & wasn't fixed for about 3 hours. We were told that management was aware of our situation and that our bill would be discounted, but when we received it on the morning of checkout, there was no discount.
6.7 Good
Pros: Large clean room. The king size bed was excellent, very comfortable. Staff was very gracious.
Cons: Unfortunately the shade portion of the window covering (inside) was broke. The television did not work properly. When turned on (with the remote) the DirecTV logo displayed on the screen however could not select anything. HVAC control was not automatic therefore it ran constantly all night in the A/C position.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We were traveling with our kids. Our room was clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast was very good, both hot and cold options. Pool was small but perfect for our young kids.
Cons: Near a a busy street, so you could hear some car noise; but most hotels usually are near major roads, and it wasn’t too bad to us.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Hotel was being remodeled & under construction. Thus, the work out facilities were not available & you had to travel two miles to get to their substitute location & pool closed when we tried to use it. There should have been a price reduction.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms, enjoyed the fitness room, great variety of breakfast items
Cons: All was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Being close to the dog walking area. Front desk was kind. Even though she had to work a 2nd shift because staff was stuck in the snow. The room was comfy.
4.0 Okay
Pros: I liked how easy check in / out was. The breakfast was good for a continental breakfast. The lobby was clean. There was a nice side entrance to the hotel to make it easier for loading and unloading. We went to the "bar" to get the kids root beers at like 7:00 pm and it was good. $3.85 for a red solo worth of rootbeer (literally they are using red solo cups for the drinks at the bar)
Cons: The bedroom when we checked in was dirty! There was used plastic cups stacked on the nightstand and a dirty one knocked over between the nightstand and headboard that housekeeping missing. We were traveling with kids so we needed the pull out and the sheets and matress protector had HUGE stains and there was no pillows or extra blanket for on the bed. It took the front desk girl 4 rounds of coming back I called down probably 6pm and she brought sheets, nothing else. I asked for everything for the bed... 2nd round she brought a mattress protector *(WHICH DURING ALL THIS I PERSONALLY HAD TO CHANGE THE DIRTY SHEETS) no housekeeping or helping or anything. 3rd she brought a blanket and the last time we brought the blanket and went to give her the sheets and she was totally disguised having to touch and carry the dirties. We went down to the indoor pool --- hot tub not hot and the pool has a huge broken ground area in the middle of the pool. and the pillows..... everyone complains about pillows but they were stained and flatter then flatter goose down so they were pokey. We booked 4 people so no surprise we might need extra.... and got 5 pillows total for a king and a pull out sleeping 4.....
7.5 Good
Pros: Very clean with all of the usual amenities. Loved the quality of the towels and linens. And even though they were packed that night, the breakfast was well run and attentive.

Pros: Room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Location was nice next to mall and restaurants.

Pros: Great appearance!
