Cons: Non
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast provided was great consisting of a sumptuous array of fruits, yogurt, croissants, Moroccan style bread, eggs cooked to your preference, Morrocan style cake and a variety of jams. We were looked after very well by their two staff - Mohammad and Abdul. Mohammad and Abdul were very attentive to our needs and were always happy to assist where required. Yolanda, the manager is friendly and is happy to answer our questions every morning. Our rooms were clean and well-presented. We would go back in a heartbeat!
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent manager Iolanda, stunning ryad, superb breakfast, beautiful suite, could not have been better. Great attention to every detail.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff are so kind and friendly, room was so clean and comfortable. The design and the construction works of the renovation of the riad is superb!! Worth staying and chilling at the lovely courtyard!
Cons: Access to the riad - the narrow alley made me feel a bit scaring as is slightly dark for a lady to walk alone after the sunset time... but you can have dinner at the riad which is nice!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow! This hotel really exceeded my expectations--the courtyard and the room were even more beautiful than the photos. Arranged transfer from the airport, as well as the paid cart to get to the ryad specifically, worked brilliantly. Dinner was pricey but honestly worth it--very high quality and elegantly prepared. The room was our favorite in our week-long trip through Morocco. Private balcony, separate sitting room, and a hot shower with strong pressure. The design details in the room and throughout the property were gorgeous! We traveled in the winter season so the evening was pretty chilly, but we had an extra thick blanket to sleep with. Staff took the time to point our location on a map and explain the general medina area. Wish we could have stayed more than just one night--would recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in the heart of Old Fez.
Cons: Breakfast didn't start until after we were scheduled to leave in the morning (0730), but the kitchen was at least nice enough to pack us a small breakfast to go.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is amazing, breakfast was excelent, we need gluten free and they cooked everything gluten free. Perfect! I recommend it!
Cons: I liked everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ryad Salama is a tranquil place with friendly staff that gives the place a personal touch. It is a small and stylish hotel with a beautiful a courtyard, full of trees and plants, three turtles, ánd a little pool to cool down. Our clean room had many thoughtful details, and a lovely balcony. Breakfast is great. If you want to have dinner at the ryad you have to let the staff know in advance. We had two (vegetarian) dinners at the ryad - the food was really nice and tasteful. In brief - we had a great stay here! We loved the hustle-bustle of Fes and the tranquility and beauty of the ryad.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good dinner and breakfast.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Riad was amazing, so clean and staff were so friendly and accomadating, especially Simon he could not have been more helpful with information and organising a trip to the blue city, would highly recommend staying here, very comfortable and peaceful ambiance.
7.9 Good
Pros: - The pool is beautiful. The design of the riad is modern and exotic. - The room is clean. - The breakfast is very nice. You could choose what you wanna eat in the next morning. - The staff is really helpful. They tried their hard to solve the problems.
Cons: - No hot water in the second night in our stay. The staff asked us to wait for some while and we waited for three hours lastly but still no hot water. Finally we took the shower with a bucket of water. But the staff really did their best to help with the issue. - We could not choose number of people on booking.com thus it only showed one person in the booking for a double room. When we arrived, they just said the second person needs to pay for the second bed(200MAD/person/night). Finally the bills added up and became more expensive than most of the other riads nearby. Travellers who wanna book this riad should pay extra notice when booking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We wanted a double bed instead of singles and they upgraded us for free as it was low season. They provided great advice and organised a great walking tour for us. This place is AMAZING !!! We asked for an omellette as part of breakfast and this was not a problem. Mohamed is a sweerheart.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.

Pros: Everything. From the moment I walked in Mohammed was incredible. He brought me tea and cookies. Gave me a tour of the hotel and my room. It was easily one of my favorite experiences of my entire trip. I will be coming back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This riad is just AMAZING! Can't exagerate more than this! Starting with the nice welcoming mint tea, staffs (Mr. Muhammad and Mr. Simon) were so kind and always willing to help their guests - when I needed to go to the bus station near the medina in the very early morning, he even kindly walked me the way, which was so helpful for me as a stranger here. The riad itself and room were also very clean and cozy like a high-star rating hotel, and the breakfast worth the price, too. Every facility in the room worked well, and again, staffs were always prepared to assist guests. If I come to Morocco again, will definitely choose this riad again:) Thanks for the wonderful service and hospitality!
Cons: Nothing!

9.3 Excellent (837 reviews)
Overview Reviews

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Taking into account the destroyed/ruin-like appearance of the entire buildings in the medina, it was a huge surprise how amazing and well taken care the Riad was on the inside. The most beautiful Riad we were on and the room was great, really spacious, clean and in great conditions. The breakfast was amazing, the best one on the trip as well!! The staff was also great and very helpful.
Cons: The Medina of Fez is basically a huge labyrinth and getting into the Riad the first time is not an easy task also because the entry is in a small opening in the narrow streets and it's not very noticeable. Be aware of local people trying to help you just to ask you for big tips in the end.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent 3 weeks hopping around Morocco, staying in multiple riads. Riad-Boutique Borj Dhab Fez was by far our favorite. The accommodations were phenomenal, the staff stellar. They arranged for us a driver for our day trip to Volubilis, set us up with an awesome hammam experience, and hooked us up with a local guide, Hannan, who took us on a whirlwind tour of the Medina, the pottery co-op, and the tannery. She was so amazing we wanted to take her with us!
Cons: Zero complaints!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: All the staff is extremely nice! They will do everything for you!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the Riad one has to experience. The rooms are crystal clean, our room smelled like a Sandalwood and they even named it as Chandal. We got good inputs from the front desk about traveling and getting lost at Fez. Breakfast was nothing but incredible.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good. They prepared early breakfast for day we needed to head out soon for Chefchaouen. The Riad is very beautiful and easy to browse around.
Cons: There could have been curtain to prevent water splashing around the bathroom. A little fridge would be nice too.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the Medina. The staff was very helpful during our stay. They are having a lot of fun together, which makes the clients enjoy their stay even more. The lounge/reception is perfect for chilling. Good breakfast.
Cons: No wifi in our room. AC was not working, but you can open the window.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything and especially our host Nour and guide Hannah. These two crazy positive persons really made our stay. Even though we had only one day, they made sure we got the full experience of both the riad as well as Fes itself. I can honestly say that we felt like a king and queen. The whole team was so nice and all the food (breakfast and dinner) was really tasty. If we hadn't already planned our next stays, we would defenitley have extended ours here.
Cons: Nothing, literally every detail of our stay was perfect.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nour and her team were excellent. The walking tour by Hanna was really good.Breakfast was traditional moroccan with breads and yoghurt.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: At the heart of our stay were the wonderfully open and friendly staff. Nour was happy and efficient when booking day trips for Chefchauoen and Meknes for us. Hanan was the best city guide! Both Nour and Hanan have excellent English and service skills. Khalid was always warm and friendly, he was speedy and a great help with our bags. We had a quiet room on the top level, it had a great shower. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable. It was great to have a fridge, and wifi readily available in the property. The Beef and prune tagine was delicious!
Cons: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. All I can think of would be, a little bit of fruit with breakfast could be a welcome addition. And although we had an air conditioner - sometimes all that is needed is a fan!

Pros: Stayed in the quad room and it was fantastic had areal Moroccan feel. The bathroom was incredible Hospitality was great from all staff. Fantastic location Highly recommend
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Meals and excellent service
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Words can’t describe the amazing experience we had at Dar Attajalli with our 2yo son. We had the suite at the top floor, it was a whole apartment all for us, with plenty of space. The staff and especially the Manager were extremely kind and gave us a lot of useful information to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the Medina. Breakfast was very good, and dinner was amazing. I’ll definitely recommend it.
Cons: I really have to think hard to find anything that was less then perfect... maybe the wifi was a bit slow, probably the router would be more powerful if plugged in another position (for example where the Nespresso machine is) because the walls of the riad are very thick and cover the signal a bit
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel in the Medina, room was absolutely amazing but quite noisy as it was on the ground floor next to the dining area. The evening set menu was really good and the breakfasts were excellent. Staff were all helpful and friendly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the most beautiful place we have ever stayed at!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a narrow street, from the outside a very simple house. When you open the door you enter an impressive 2 or 3 level high lounge and eating room, nicely kept and tables nicely set. We were greeted very friendly. Though we were only two we had an appartement for four, the last room to hire, quite some stairs up. The room was very spacious with an impressing bath. It had an aircondition, which was good, as all windows go to the hall. We took our first dinner in the hotel, it was ok and the breakfast was good. We spend some time on the beautiful roof terrace, overviewing parts of the old town. We did not see much of the surrounding, as we only walked to the parking space to get to the souk. We felt very safe walking along the streets, the Souk we visited with a guide.
Cons: The lights in our appartement were very low, difficult to see things proper (better in the bath room) and no possibility to read in bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, great terrace, gorgeous rooms! Thanks for all your help and advice :)
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Idriss, our host, was exceptional. Very helpful, flexible and accommodating (helped with further plans) - Location in Medina was excellent. - Rooms were both larger than at comparable price points elsewhere, and beautiful. - Great roof terrace. - Generous breakfast.
Cons: Nothing of note.

Cons: Not very clean bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Very nice room and good breakfast. Staff Haddou is friendly and very helpful!
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice staff , clean and quite
Cons: Location in place where surrounding with empty houses make place uncomfortable for family
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice, the bed was comfortable and the a/c worked great! The room actually stayed cool our entire stay. The breakfast was good, and they brought it to you on the terrace. The staff was very helpful with providing a guide and are available to get you drinks whenever. We would definitely stay again.
Cons: The door to our room led right onto the common area. The walls are thin and you could hear everything going on outside the room which didn’t make it feel to private.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Haddu and Nourredine were fantastic, and so were the rest of the staff. The beauty of the room, and the sights from the balcony, and everything was wonderful.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Ideal situation on a side alley off the main street. Beautiful Moroccan decor. The bed was comfortable, the air-con worked well and the service was exceptional, particularly the breakfast on the roof-top and the arrangements for airport/train station transfer. We were treated like royalty by the Team, especially Jean-Claude and Haddou
Cons: Wi-Fi was OK in one area of the room only, and the water was hardly warm
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We felt very welcome from the first moment on. The riad is very beautiful, authentic and because of the friendlyness of the whole staff we felt like home. Our room was perfectly clean and very comfortable. We also loved to spend time on the roof deck where we had breakfast every morning and a great view over the city. The owner of the riad, Jean Claude, is a very nice and friendly person. Haddou was always there for us, helped us with everything and always offered us a mint tea. Noureddine gave advice on activities in Fez and helped us with the train connection to Rabat. Also the other team members were very helpful and friendly. All in all the riad was the one we enjoyed the most during our Morocco trip. There is no other place we would choose next time. Thank you for everything and hope to see you again.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: the top flor Terrace had great views, very comfortable. A great place to have your breakfast. And your the à la menthe. Or just to relax
Cons: Cannot think of anything
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything is good. The location is very good which is very close from blue gate. The terrace is awesome that you can watch the all anout medina of Fez.
Cons: Nope.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Stayed there from 31/5- 2/6. The staff and the owner are so nice. Actually we met the owner more than the other staff, maybe due to Ramadan. On the day of check-in, we received a notification from the Riad that we have to check-in before 6:45pm as there is no staff after this time till 8pm. This notice should be announced earlier at least one day before, as we were already on the way from Sahara to your stay, how can we suddenly speed up the traffic?! From Sahara to there takes about 6 hours. Besides, we booked the transport through the raid to the airport, I was told to pay to the driver directly by cash on euro or dirhams. However the driver insisted to receive dirhams as there is a currency exchange difference. Better communication from the raid to the car company is strongly recommended. Anyway, my stay over there is good! Nice view of the roof top, nice staff, and good location. Staff are helpful to guide us to restaurant, to introduce the city and good restaurant suggestions.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, tastefully decorated and historic riad. Staff was so helpful and friendly, especially when it came to organizing guides and logistics - particularly as we were two women traveling alone (thanks Omar, Karam, Mamoune, and Mamadou!) Pool was refreshing and really nice to have - one of the few riads we saw with a pool. Rooftop terrace were great, with stunning views of the medina. We visited multiple riads during our stay and Dar Bensouda was by far our favorite.
Cons: They weren't as responsive as I would have liked over email before arrival.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a great stay and great staff. Thanks especially to Mr. Memnon and Mr. Karim for all the support they did for us. We loved every moment at the stay.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staffs Room Rooftop view
Cons: Location was too deep inside Medina and it was a bit scared to see many people who wanted to scam us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the most beautiful riad my husband and I stayed at during our two-week stay in Morocco. It is absolutely beautiful and the owner has done an amazing job in preserving this former palace. The room was even more spacious than we expected. It was super clean and had a spacious bathroom. The best part of the hotel is the amazing rooftop terrace with views all over the medina, a dream especially at sunset! The breakfast buffet was also delicious. The only downside was that we stayed there for only one night. Would definitely like to go back there!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect level of renovation -- you feel the age of the building, but everything is comfortable. Absolutely lovely staff that set the tone and made me feel at home. I want all those velvet salon sofas in my house, even though they'll never fit.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice, modern and comfortable, staff were attentive, location good
Cons: Its a little small and conplex to find your way around, but since its authentic, i guess it's supposed to be
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The riad is sublime! The court yards, the pool and rooms are really beautiful! The staffs are very friendly too!
Cons: It locates inside the old town and only accessible by walking and we are not aware of it. So finding the hotel and parking is a bit stressful. Just call the hotel and they will send a local staff to help.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The riad is the best place to stay in Fed! Hassan and the rest of the staff have been so nice to us - would definitely recommend!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The riad itself is truly beautiful and instagram worth, which is great if you are looking for something typical! We had the suite which was huge and lovely. The position was awesome, very close to the blue gate (5 minutes of walk) and to the many shops and restaurants in the area. The best thing was the people, everyone were there to help and give true suggestions on how to deal with Fes. High five to the manager, Hassan and Mohamed: you made us feel like at home!
Cons: All good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant and kind personal
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: All staff were nice to us.
Cons: Dirty room, the pictures might be real because it shows how clean and nice the hotel is, but the reality is something completely the opposite. Hair dryer was broken as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The riad is absolutely beautiful, stunning architecture and it also has a rooftop. Excellent location.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location. The staff were very helpful and friendly
Cons: The room needed an update in particular the bedding. It was clean but dated
6.3 Good
Pros: The style
Cons: The place was too worn, no water in the room, breakfast too stogey, fresh fruit would of been better, no terrace, areas used as storing junk.
6.0 Good
Pros: The location was central. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The tour of the medina was informative, culturally rich, and entertaining. The guide was kind and knowledgable. The mini-fridge, large table (meant for dinner service), working A/C, and private patio terrace with an amazing view were all major bonuses.
Cons: The facilities needed a major update many things were falling apart in our room and everything looked dirty from age. The curtains wouldn’t keep light out and the main blanket had many tears in it. When it rained the terrace flooded and our windows near the electrical outlet (where the fridge was plugged in) would leak. While the main door to the room was only closing because of the lock mechanism. With just a bit of force you’d break both the door and the lock. The keys were unlabeled and we were given the wrong key almost every time which was extremely concerning not to mention annoying because of the long, narrow flights of stairs they had. (This place is not a Riad it’s a Dar.)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This riad is in the medina, but a few steps from a taxi stop, which is perfect. The best was the service of Hasam and the rest of the staff.

7.9 Good
Pros: Mohammed who managed the hotel was so helpful. Rooms were very comfortable
Cons: I was generally very happy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing accommodation, location and staff . Love how the place has a story to tell and reflects the culture and heritage of Morocco and specially Fes. It feels like you are staying at someone’s luxury place and not a hotel. Mohammed will take care of you if you need a guide. Highly recommend you ask for Zakariya El Edrisis. He will take you to a 3 hours amazing tour and reveal to you the secrets of the town and history and meaning behind each symbol and sign . He speaks 4 languages fluently and can take you to all sort of discussions so feel free to ask.
Cons: It’s not that I didn’t like but you need to be aware the whole place is not sound proof ... everything can be heard from inside your room. Wireless can be weak and rooms don’t have aTV. if you book the white room like me, keep in mind, it’s right in the middle of the Recieption
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The floors, rugs in room were white so the dirt was apparent. They should choose a different color since It is in Medina and can be quite dirty and dusty. otherwise all else was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: we loved every thing! the food, the stuff the room every thing was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are beautiful and really comfortable. The location is good, close to everything but it’s not in the middle of Médina. I had a beautiful dinner on the terrace, with a perfect service, which I highly recommend. Warm hospitality from everyone!!
5.8 Okay
Pros: This riad is very clean and the staff are very nice and kindly. The toilet is large, the shampoo and show gel are very good quality. And the riad not far away to blue gate in Médina.
Cons: In the Room there is not proper table, only a very small side table, so my makeup items nowhere to place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the yard so much!! The room is comfortable and everything is clean and tidy. Deeply in love with the cleaning set it smells really nice, staffs are helpful and friendly. The popular "ins" window room is exactly which we stayed! The roof garden is enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend this riad to all my friends.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff came to meet us at the taxi lot so we wouldn’t get lost. We only stayed one night but had to leave early so they made us breakfast to go without hesitation. They also ensured we had a ride in the morning and welcomed us very warmly. A wonderful experience albeit short.

Pros: We really appreciated the beautiful Riad and the kindness of the employees.
Cons: The price of the dinner was elevated in comparison to other riads and restaurants around. In equivalent places, the same menu costed half the price. We believe the breakfast should include a selection of fruits.

Cons: Well functioning AC
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I stayed here during our 5-day trip to Fez and loved it, very calm and relaxing place and the staff is so amazing. They were some of the friendliest people we met during our 2-month journey in Morocco. Breakfast is lovely, and the location makes it very easy to reach the Blue Gate and other attractions via taxi (no getting lost finding your way through the medina, unless of course you want to ;)). Wifi was good for us digital nomads, our room was cleaned regularly, and I can't stress enough how awesome the staff were - we felt like they were family by the time we left. Thank you so much Dar Anebar, we will never forget you!!! Best wishes from Carly & Luke

Pros: Everything
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff are friendly and helpful. The environment is clean and beautiful. I can feel the way of arabian family lives in this house. The breakfast is great, a very satisfied breakfast.
Cons: We had 2 people, if our room can have 2 chair for each of us, it would be better.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This Riad (hotel) is located close to the edge but within the old city (Medina) – it requires assistance to access, as taxis and other wheeled vehicles have no direct access. The Riad will arrange to meet your taxi at the closest main gate. It features a beautiful atrium, three stories in height, and onto which all the rooms have a direct outlook. There is also a roof terrace with recreation area and good views of the city. While there is no elevator, the obliging staff are only too willing to carry your suitcases to your room. A traditional breakfast is included in the tariff, and a limited-menu dinner can also be provided at an additional charge if desired. The proprietor, Ahmed, is friendly and obliging. For example, he arranged to purchase a train ticket for me so that I did not need to make a special trip to the train station (online ticket purchases seem to be restricted to those with a Moroccan credit card). The free wi-fi worked well, and the rooms were elegant and charming, with an old-world, Arabic ambience. Ahmed also arranged for an English-speaking Guide for me, as it would be impossible to negotiate the narrow streets, lanes and alleyways of the Medina without a Guide. Fortunately, the Medina in Fez does not permit wheeled vehicles of any kind (except small trolleys), which is a great advantage over the equivalent precinct in Marrakech, where you take your life into your hands as the sometimes fast-moving scooters etc. negotiate their way around obstacles such as pedestrians! Fez uses donkeys and mules to transport heavier loads through the streets and laneways of the Medina (beware the manure).
Cons: I did find, however, that the lighting level in my room was a bit too low for functional requirements. My only criticism was that my Guide appeared to be nothing more than a tout for various tourist venues and retail establishments. At every stop, I was passed over to a merchant who started doing a sales pitch. I told the Guide I wasn't really interested in buying tourist souvenirs, but he took no notice (he's probably on a commission).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing friendly staff. Beautiful riad. Call the staff to help you with your bags and find the location!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely Riad. Staff friendly. Nice breakfast. Good place to explore the medina from. Easy taxi ride to blue gate
Cons: Twin room in annex was small. Shower small. No chairs. Comfortable beds though

Pros: Staff was very gentle
Cons: Rooms are nice, but could be better maintained.
7.9 Good
Pros: We loved this Riad (one of the best in beauty). Room was roomy, breakfast was great. Staff very nice. I believe this Riad looks better than the photos show.
Cons: Unfortunately, we found out later after we left, that the bites we received during the first night might have been bedbugs. Everything else was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was large and spacious, great location. The Médina is a big city made up of over 9,000 alley ways so when arriving it was easy to reach the Raid, which is located within the medina ways but the taxi can drop you off very close with a short walk. The staff were welcoming and were happy to talk to us and suggest where to go as well as making us feel at home.
6.7 Good
Pros: Nice foyer Breakfast quite good Ok location, quiet Opinion probably affected by below
Cons: There was a problem with the hot water Notified staff first morning, but they passed it off as other guests using all the hot water. Had tepid shower in the afternoon. Tried having an earlier shower the next morning, again no hot water. Immediately complained again and asked to be moved and speak to manager. Staff then said there was a leak and would attend to it but would move me to a different property for my last night, which they did with all assistance. Think there was a reluctance of staff to be completely honest with situation
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The riad foyer is very impressive - some sort of Andalusien architecture. It was very pleasant to sit there and surf in the internet in all tranquility. The rooms are good furnished. The staff is very helpfull, open minded and extremely taking care of its guests. The breakfast was good - Natural orange juice/caffe/bread/cheese/sweets/kacke... actually all what I needed to start my day.. Each person is being served personally by the staff. The staff always helped me parking my hired car near the Riad for no fees which is to thank them for that. Parking mostly always will cost you in Morocco as the rest of the world. I have arrived one night earlier and mr. Mohammed the owner of the riad helped me to find a room on a short notice and more he has sent his employee to receive me and then guide me to a second riad he owns. I thank him for that - mr. Mohammed always responded to my messages on Whatsup in a matter of few minutes....
Cons: What i‘m writing here is related indirectly to the Riad. It‘s about the tour guide. I have asked the staff to book me one for three hours. He came at the morning. I‘m a person who is interested in history and culture. After one hour he collected a group of french girls in the old city in other riad (to maximize his profit on that day). And so he had to explain in 2 languages. He has taken the liberty and didn't make the effort to explain much a bout the history of Fes: - 30% of the time was spent visiting some historical places - 70% of the time was for shopping - jumping from one store to another. Clearly he has some deal With the shops where he gets provisions on each buy.... It was somehow bizarre for me and the group.... He was a manipulative person. It was not professional and he deserves merely 2 stars out of 5. The money he insisted to have he also didn’t deserve point and a new line.
7.5 Good
Pros: so so
Cons: too expensive for eating and drinking, and the facility of shower is poor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Although we only stayed 1 night in Fez, we absolutely had a great time. Mohammed, the host was really kind and helpful. We had to leave early for our flight the next morning so we didnt have time to eat our breakfast, so he gave us a breakfast takeaway, which we really appreciated, we were able to eat it at the airport instead of buying. Oh and the room was splendid!!!! Totally recommend this Riad!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully decorated and well furnished riad. Rooms are charming in true traditional style. Here and there a bit old but that's part of the charm and it was all very clean. Air condition working perfect. Fantastic breakfast and every day different extras which were delicious. All personnel very welcoming and kind. I would like to thank in particular Mr. Azdin and Hamza for their continuous efforts to make our stay as pleasant as possible and for being a great help to us also afterwards by taking care of returning us some forgotten garments.
Cons: No key for one of our rooms available. Of course we trust all personnel (and guests?) but it gave a bit of an odd feeling at first. However safe was present in room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From arrival we were made to feel absolutely welcome. Our room was incredible, the location is right by the old Medina (and the staff were so helpful in making sure we didn’t get lost), and the food is delicious (try the Moroccan soup and the beef tagine)! The owner is absolutely lovely and allowed us to swim at one of his other riads, the rooftop terrace is super cute and I cannot stress enough how wonderful the staff are. We will be returning on our next trip to Morocco!
Cons: Don’t get hustled by the locals on your way to the Medina, it is easy to find yourself and they will try to take money off you.
7.1 Good
Pros: General atmosphere was good.
Cons: The smallest room seems to also be the least desired room by the Riad.

Pros: Staff specially mr Omar is very warm welcome and helpful for us even we arried very rate at night the riad is really cosy for us
Cons: None
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location, breakfast, information upon arrival.
Cons: We booked a suite. On the last morning we found out it wasnt a suite. The receptionist was honest, friendly and helpfull. When the owner arrived the mood changed a bit. He gave us a discount but mentioned to us: please dont put anything about this on booking.com. I told us he made a "mistake" and he was fully booked but i was able to book another suite on booking.com. Please make sure you get the room you booked! If we didnt mentioned anything he would let us pay for the entire amount of the "suite" room. After we left he cancelled our booking. Just to make sure we couldnt leave a review or charge us more! So we feel a little taking advantage of.

Pros: lovely breakfast on the courtyard terrance next to pool. Beautiful old riad with lots of charm. We had just come from a riad in Marrkesh with the most warm, hospitable and welcoming staff so this one was a let down. That was really the only bummer about the place. They weren't horrible just distant, businesslike. I thought I saw 150 price on taxi to the airport so got out the correct amt from ATM the night before. Minutes before leaving manager said no it's 200, with no room for discussion e.g. looking at the info sheet in room with other price, so was annoying and stressful sorting out how to find another ATM without being late for our flight. Note not all ATMs work with US banks, 2nd one did.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely Riad , service was fantastic. The Riad had a lovely family feel, it was perfect for a quiet relaxing trip, the Riad team were extremely accomodating and organised our tours for us including airport pickups. Food was good, generous portions and the setting was lovely. I would recommend staying.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: payment only by cash it would be more kind if the property let us know the limitation in advance
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly, good responce, wonderfull place. Though (a little bit) expensive, it was a truly great place to discover Fez.
7.9 Good
Pros: Big Riad, well kept, nice pool, nice terrace, generous breakfast, friendly and professional staff, big room (suite). Easy access from the nearest parking place.
Cons: It's a bit dark.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Riad is beautiful. The staff is so sweet and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and stylish. Fireplace is in every room and lounge area. We enjoy relaxing next to fireplace with glass of wine and a good book end of day. Location is ideal, edge of Medina near cab stand and easy walk to Medina main streets and restaurants. We highly recommend this hotel
Cons: Everything is good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful. We needed help with a bus reservation and the owner and staff went above and beyond by calling the bus station and ultimately driving us to the CTI bus station to make sure we got our tickets. The building interior was beautiful - the building dates back to the 1300's. The rooms were nicely decorated and large. Breakfast was wonderful and we liked the location - it was a short distance to the main streets in the medina. We were never in a hurry to leave because it was so nice and relaxing inside.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was better than any other riad I had stayed at. Had a pool which was great, but was a little too chilly when I was visiting to use it more than a quick refreshing dip. Room was very interesting with a low ceilinged lounge room that looked into the interior courtyard and then down a few steps to the bedroom which looked into a different exterior courtyard. Beautiful spaces with ornate detail.

Pros: Wonderful place, very cosy, very helpful staff, very clean.
Cons: I liked everything.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Despite there being an issue with our original booking - the staff were quick to resolve and upgraded us into a suite in another affiliated hotel. Staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
Cons: Laundry was expensive to get done (although did come back very promptly!) The room was lovely but could do with updating/refreshing (new air con, new towels)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place with very nice people. They do everything to help you. The breakfast on the roof felt very special. Also, it was a nice experience to be able to swim inside a riad! And the beautiful hall took our breath away. We didn't try the hamam, since we prefered to go to a local one, it costs less. And for those who'd like to know: the jacuzzi costs 150.000 MAD per person for 30 minutes. I definitely recommend this hotel!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, value for money, large breakfast serving. Ryad style hotel, nice experience.
Cons: The man front desk a bit unfriendly, maybe just a language barrier. However, the lady front desk made up for that. There was a curfew of 12 midnight, which I dont matter so much, but our friends are at a different hotel. Suggestion, the lobby could have been better if the leather couches will have some type of Moroccan blanket or whatever laid down on couches. Those couches kind of ruin the Riad look and feel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. Rashid was super gentle and helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful riad, with a big swimming pool and spa. When we arrived in the evening, they gave us some Moroccan tea and pastries. Nice big terrace where you can enjoy the views while having breakfast or dinner. Delicious breakfast, you can choose what you like. All the staff was very polite and supportive, special thanks to Mehdi at the reception - very attentive and helpful, provided us all the information and even changed the room to a superior one for the second night. We were leaving early in the morning, and they prepared a little take away breakfast. Highly recommended.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The grand junior room which we were upgraded to for free was superb. Breakfast on the terrace was second to none the views were spectacular over the Médina. So much more for your money then Marrakesh. Would recommend this Riad.
Cons: If I had to pick, was a little scared of the lift. But the stairs were fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Raid was beautiful! So enchanting.
Cons: That breakfast wasn't included in the price.

Pros: The rooms are good..The vieuw was Nice. They upgrade our room.
Cons: There was no waterboiler. The Bath is very dangerous. The drinks from the minibar are very expensive. I paid 95 euro more then what they promised me when i checked out. This was a dissapointment when i saw my creditcard account.
4.2 Okay
Pros: - The location
Cons: - We found some hair in the bed. - The bathroom was old and many handles didn’t work properly. - only 1 wardrobe for 2 people. - no cold water when you wanna shower, the lowest setting was so hot and confusing shower handles that were half broken. I paid at the checking but then at the checkout I was asked to pay again. Hopefully I paid by debit card and kept the receipt they could check that I really paid.
